ok...so my phone has HTC Home...so thats nothing new...I have animation on my boot up...so thats nothing new...the home screen wallpaper looks very pretty...but im sure theres nothing special to that...My phone has touchflo, so if your thinking about cooking a ROM around that,thats nothing new either...
So...whats so special about this ROM then any other one? you should try again with the teaser...but i do like the name

HTC Cube v2 have support make 4 sides.And it very faster,of course it better than HTC cube

What can you not expect:
That my rom will fix every problem you have on your Kaiser
Im no programmer, I cant create new drivers, or improve any drivers.

well, i too am interested in this! Our devices are definitely capable of supporting touch flo, and someone should get started on this i guess! I've never cooked a rom, so wouldnt know where to start, makes sense for all the experienced guys to try a shot at this as it would really prove to be a great value add for our uni!

it is possible in fact there is already a ROM that has the Touch Flo interface (only qvga and our unis have VGA so it will look funny)

Hi Guys,
Ivans Rom includes only the HTC today Plug_in which is as mentioned above, only QVGA and until now no one archive to Run correctly this application in VGA. HTC today plug_in cab can be found separately in here.
Regards to Touch flo (cube); The ROM cooker for other devices take the touch.dll from the device HTC touch and port it for own devices.
The file touch.dll has to be cooked in to ROM as it cant be overwritten. Anyhow all those devices are none VGA therefore porting for Universal has not been yet done.

I am already porting this SYS/XIP. Until now, it doesn't seem much faster than 20282. Some things are faster though. I think HTC's weather panel is faster now and there are some updated apps in the ROM.
So it may work on a s710?

I don't know yet, because there is a lot of new software in the ROM and I don't have all of the updated MUIs yet (actually I don't have any of them...).
I am not making a Snap-based ROM, because it's not faster than the Rose ROM...
It's giving me more trouble than pleasure^^ so it's not really worth it!

...well the Display resolution (QVGA) is the same, the CPU spec is quite different:
Vox: Texas Instruments OMAP 850, 200 MHz
Snap: Qualcomm® MSM 7225™, 528 MHz
How these two benchmark in real life we will have to see...

Oops - yes indeed, sorry for confusing this I was mislead by torrentonly stating that "...either Vox or Rose are really old in hardware page" which is not true, but only Vox is "old" while Rose+Snap are similar and newer - but these will be "old" in a year's time as well...

Oh, sorry. I had to misread Rose specs somewhere. Also, I had it in my hands and it was really slow (slower than custom Vox ROMs), so I thought, it has about a same specs as Vox or Wings.
Anyway, I still think that Vox is by far the best looking HTC smartphone .
That is usually the problem with stock ROMs - they are slow^^
Which is the recommended (widely used) method to test, document and compare the "speed" of a ROM? I mean it is the same WinCE core for all of them and the same HW, so speed should not much differ if the internal settings for the WinCe core are identical.
I might release a Snap ROM (full and Lite) some time this week! The 21040 SYS and XIP are actually quite good, but it won't be with PIE 6, it sucks on the Vox.
I figured some stuff out and it's pretty fast right now! I will see how good I can get it and I will let you all know!
A few questions:
- Does it vibrate on boot (sigh..)?
- Will it be a multi-language ROM?
- How do you measure "speed"?

I was wondering does someone knows where can the new dialer from HD mini be found if at all? The HD mini seems to work on WM 6.5.3 and it have new Sense and the dialpad icon in the dailer is not like the current one (ugly in 6.5.3 builds) Also I have seen in some videos of the HD mini that HTC have removed the Start button at all from the interface and I personaly think it is nicer that way!

I have to say, it is the first iteration of WM6.5.x that has not revolted me with the normally hideous bottom menu and phone buttons, but we are still left with TWO clocks on the Home screen, which are redundant and a waste of space. I am excited about possible refinements to the Sense UI finding there way into cooked ROMs for the HD2, or better yet, an official Sense update for the HD2, which can then find its way into cooked ROMs!
A little Update! The patch that was given earlier is not working on any ot the ROMs I've tested so far! So we are back to square one (do not pass GO do not collect 200) any help on the matter PLS?

Hi,
To answer your questions:
1. No, you can't add custom programs to the sliding bar, as this slider is used to slide between the tabs of HTC Sense (only way to add custom programs is to make a custom manila tab (like e.g. facebook tab)).
2. I think you flashed a WM6.5 ROM instead of a WM6.5.x version...
This is why you have no windows button in the bottom softkey bar (as with this Windows Mobile version the start button is still on top )

Energys numbers are confusing right now.. you want 216XXX which is the amped up version that used to be 23XXXX based on 6.5.5 .. 219XXX which seems like the higher number , so you think its the the big dog.. is really the one that used to be 21XXXX which is based on 6.5 build.
So .. to answer your question FIRST.. switch to a 6.5.5 build. (216xxx)
Then your slider question... im about 99% sure you can.. which is funny because no one i know has, but if you can its not just point and click its some registry edit type stuff and changing alot of icons.
P.s. the dude who just told you you CANT have custom slider tabs.. is one of the dudes on her who actually could. lol . now THATS irony

Hmm, you're asking for an ETA for a stable wp7 ROM for Leo??
We haven't got a 100% perfect/stable WM6.5.x ROM, so I think it will be a long time before we have that kind of ROM (and WP7 sucks )

Why don't you just buy a wp7 device instead? (if you want to play those games as quick as possible )
The new HTC 7 Trophy will be for sale from 21 oct.

HD7 (looking at the specs "on paper") has only some minor changes regarding the current HD2; - internal storage instead (Europe version has 8GB, Asian version will have 16GB ) of micro sd-cards
- only 3 keys instead of 5
But it will still be a pain in the *ss to port everything over to the HD2.... (but it will be done in due time )
I ain't gonna buy anyone a phone, except my girl, if she decides to get rid of her iPhone4
By the way; only difference between HTC 7 Trophy and HTC 7 Mozart will be external design. Difference between these 2 and the HD7 will be screen size (the first two will be 3.8", the HD7 will be 4.3").
The best thing people should do, is wait untill there are some new processors released (+ 1,2 GHz), as for now all new HTC WP7 devices will have the same snapdragon as the current HD2

I absolutely love my T-mobile Shadow 07! I have a ROM for WM 6.5 Standard on it that I found on allshadow.com, it works great but I cant download the next versions e.g Neo shadow 6.5 and shadow 6.5 red etc. If anyone has any information as to a WM 6.5 ROM that works great I would like more information please. Unless you have the original shadow6.5 Roms?

Well, I tried Erofich 6.1 Rom and I did not love it at all! It seems too basic compared to Shadow 6.5! I'm flashing back to 6.5 ver 5 even knowing it has some bugs! I had ver 4 on my phone for about a week at it just started acting up! So I'm stuck! I tried to re-flash to the official 6.1 ROM from HTC but HTC has stopped supporting the 07 Shadow?!!! BOOOOO I paid $400 for this phone!!!!! I WANT THE MOST I CAN GET FROM IT! LOL "I'm net really shouting" Anyway If you have the 6.5 red/neo or neo red Roms post them here for the old school shadow lovers like me! Thanks

The best is the Stock rom, after I installed that I sold the phone on ebay and made $100 not bad. I now have a optimus T and I love my touch screen. I loved my shadow but I LOVE MODDING my optimus better.
