Hi, guys, I have been a member of this forum for some time, I have been looking for a WM6 rom form my XDA EXEC, I found that Jwrightmcps has released a lot of roms for different model of universal, I have 2 question:
1, If I use the Dopod Rom in my XDA EXEC, can I choose to use Chinese language in the WM configuration?
2, Do I have to unlock it before flash a Dopod ROM into it? can anyone suggest a good unlocker?

i have o2 Xda neo with german rom and with dopod 818 rom i have changed its language. and now i am using it...
no problem has occured. it's fantastic...
look for latest dopod 818 in the forum i am sure you will find the program and how to do it instructions...
but wat abt the bootscreen? it says its dopod on an O2 device.. is there anyway we can use the original rom and change its interface, or use the dopod rom and change its bootscreen?

O2 XDA is a German only release so there is no English ROM available for it. You will have to use the Qtek, Imate or Dopod ROM to get an English OS.

I am not a begginer in this (just flashed 5x ROM on MDA Vario, XDA mini S, XDA mini) but I cant find any usefull procedure and link how to flash O2 XDA NEO G4 model (GER WM) with some of WWE 5.0 ROM. I think once there was a complete upgrade procedure and link to ROMs, now only WM 6.
So, I am asking for 2 links:
- XDA Neo G4 upgrade procedure to WM 5.0 WWE
- Any usefull WWE 5.0 Prophet ROM.

Many WM5 ROMs can be found on the FTP server here for shipped ROMs, and the rest of the prophet FTP site for cooked ROMs.
You must first unlock the device see here for info.

the guys have got the chinese rom. looks like the rom kitchen for the p525 is the similar with only a minor change. so hopefully we can get an english rom. am trying one of the chinese roms now

Hi guys, new to the smartphone forum, currently on Artemis with my xda but bought this I-mate for my son. He likes the M2D i have on mine, is there any ROMS in this forum that i can flash with M2D on it, or any other ROM that maybe usefull. It currently has WM6.1 installed.

XDA Orbit 2 is not an Artemis
From what I can tell it is the Polaris 200. I have the same problem and want to change my OS language to English. Was told by HTC and O2 that this is impossible.
Is that true?

May I strongly point you in the direction of the 3LITE3 VIII ROM? You'd want the WWE version for "World wide english".
