HTC P3300 Artemis - too little storage memory (ROM) - General Topics

I have bought P3300 Artemis few weeks ago. Although I install all software (only few) to memory card, PDA has only 3MB of free ROM and 32MB total. Why? The indicated value is 128 MB, so that Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro takes 125 MB? I tried to find "files with 64kB and more", but nothing was found.
How is it on your P3300 devices? I have official Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro ROM with Tomtom 6 navigator and map of one small city (1 MB)...
BTW: it makes huge problems, when I want to download files via bluetooth - I can't accept files with more than 3 MB (because of cache directory on ROM, not SD card) or during recording the voice notes - the same

Your choice. Tva volba.
Try another Rom. Skus jinou romku neoficialni ale vedsina je anglicka.

Seems like some programs install to main memory even when you tell them to install to the card. Just go dig through your program files directory!. Personally I have a modified version of java that installs to the card and I try to move everything possible over there. Even still I only have around 6mb free but ohwell, that doesn't get used much anyway except for the occasional program that absolutely has to install on there.
BTW, you can use SKtools to move some of your program caches and temporary folders onto the sdcard also.

Fallout clone version 002beta out – now, with WM5 support and English conversations!

A few days ago, I’ve reported on the first public beta of maskin’s great Fallout port Fallout: Back to USSR. He has just released the long-promised upgrade, sporting both WM5 compliance and English conversations.

The main menu has also been translated into English as can be seen in here.
Unfortunately, the char / map buttons are not supported – now, a “Function not supported” is shown.
Please also see the contents of the “docs” directory – it has all the info you need on the new quests, bugfixes etc.
Availability, installation, compatibility
Get the game here and the English conversations here. Unzip the contents of the “Maps_eng” directory of the latter into the “Maps” directory of the former, making sure you overwrite all the original files. Then, just execute FalloutPPC.exe.
If you also need to run the game on a WM5 device, make sure you uncompress FalloutPPC_wm5.zip (it's in Fallout_002.zip) and overwrite the original FalloutPPC.exe with the one in the ZIP file.
I haven’t had any problems on my WM2003 iPAQ 2210, WM2003SE VGA PL720 and WM5 Dell Axim x51v A12 (the latter means it doesn't have problems with 2700G-based devices). On the other hand, while it does start on my PPC2k2 (it's also said to be Pocket PC 2002 compatible) Compaq iPAQ 3660, after the splash screen, it just exits with an Fatal Application Error.

Here's the SourceForge page: sourceforge.net / projects / ipaq214android
Hope to see it run on my hx4700 soon !
If any developers have an iPAQ 21x come to help on my project because of this post, I would be very thankful to you, though I know the possibility will be extremely low. For your hx4700, check my reply on SourceForge.
I prefer giving out this link though there aren't anything special.
BTW is it so "breaking"? The project is already 9 months old already, though there is only one developer at all, which is me. Painful. :crying:

[Q] 32 GB MicroSD showing only 30 MB's - help!

I have a SanDisk Ultra 32 GB microSD HC-I card that I use in my Transformer Infinity tablet as a storage device. I had it setup as (1) 32 Gig FAT32 partition.
Well I messed around with the partition on it the other day and it no longer would work. I decided to just wipe the stick and create a new 32 GB FAT32 Partition.
The thing is, now all (partition) tools I have used says it is only a 30 MB stick and in a "RAW" format !!???
I have tried:
Windows 7 (64bit) Drive Manager and get this this result:
.
Code:
[B]C:\Users\John>chkdsk /X /F S:
The type of the file system is RAW.
CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives.[/B]

Mini Tool Partition Wizard with this result:

Easues Partition Wizard Shows this:
==========================================
I know the sectors must be messed up. I have tried a Low Level Format but it just tells me that 30MB is to small to Low Level Format.
What can I do to make the 32 Gig micro stick show up as 32 Gig (fat32) not 30 MB ??
Please help if you can.... I will try anything. I do not have Linux installed, but supose I could if needed.
Thanks !!!

After that my mini sd was displaying only 30mb.
Nothing helped and i replaced it under warranty.

Increase android internal memory

Presenting an extremely easy way to use the total available internal space in your phones.
Requires root
1. See the sdcard's space stats

}
2. Download V drive
Download
3. Start V drive, you should see the info of your mounted partitions
4. Make a drive from the create drives tab on the system partition
4.a It will take a few seconds to make the drive
5. Check home tab again your should now have a v drive
If the drive is not there, go to edit drives tab and then go back to home tab, (home tab may not have refreshed)
6. You can see your drive in your file explorers now under your sdcard, the insides of a freshly made drive look like this
7. You can fill the drive with your data
8. You will notice the system partition filling up with the v drive in the app
9. You will see that your sdcard still has the same memory stats
Additional : You can also unmount the drive to hide the data stored in it and then remount it to access.
