'Cell Profiler' is a location based profile manager for all HTC phones running Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition (XDA/XDA2/MDA/MDA2/I-MATE/QTEK).

that allows you to trigger events based on your current location.
It's been designed to run all the time in the background of your PDA - even when the device is turned off.

-Open a Pocket Word document ( psw )
-Open a Pocket Excel document ( pxl )
-Open a note file ( pwi )
-Open standard text file ( txt )
Assign multiple cells into one group has even more advantages:
-Change the ringtone upon entering a group
-Change the ringstyle upon entering a group
-All events that a single cell can handle
It is also possible to log a whole trip, every cell from start to end with the login time of each cell. You can save such a route to load it at a later time
or send it to another 'Cell Profiler' user via Infrared or Bluetooth.
Sometimes there are multiple cells for an area like a big office,
to prevent the user from having 5 profiles for the same area,
he can group these 5 cells to a group and assign the same profile to all cells.
But using groups doesn't limit the user to the same profile for each cell in a group - it's optional.
'Cell Profiler' can also show you detailed information about the cell you are
currently logged into ( like signal strength in DBM ). The windows contents
will be expanded with further versions as we do more research on what type of
information can be recieved from the network for free.
It is also possible to export or import selected groups and their cell ids.
Exporting or importing will only export the cell's name and id - no profile is
beeing exported or imported.
'Cell Profiler' offers you to automatically send the exported data via
Infrared or Bluetooth.
The future for this feature is to 'share' information about the GSM cells with other users using the internet to create a hugh online database, which
'Cell Profiler' again could contact to tell you where you are at using a GPRS online connection.
That's not everything you can also have 4 quick profiles which are not
location based that you can access from the today screen for instant profile changes!

it's not activated as real handago item, but you can already but it.
using the link about, alot of people already did so it is working.
someone should really close the old thread, it's a little bit weird as it is with the old thread being on top of the new one

I can confirm this. It just do nothing. The "old" beta version worked fine, but not the final release....
So dutty have to do some research, or all Wallaby users can save their money...

Ok. That was it. Deleted the file and now it looks like it function proper.
With the celldata file, there just happend nothing. No error message, nothing appearing on the screen, just nothing.

yes, it was an incompatability issue. i've fixed this with 1.02

okay, so it definitivly works on XDA1. can you please be detailed about your configuration so i can help more xda1 users.

I have an XDA1 and i must not use the program: when i try to scan i receive the message: "failed to set IoControl".
I don't understand if it's a device's problem, a radio's problem or...

New SKTools version (3.1.1) out; now, with a full Registry Editor!!

SKTools is, in my opinion, by far the best all-in-one system tool for the Pocket PC. You will definitely want to give it a try - it's an indispensable tool.

As can be seen, it’s the registry editor feature that is the most important new feature. Therefore, I’ve given it a very thorough test. Please also read my Registry Editor Bible for a more thorough elaboration on the meanings of the test results below; in here, I won’t explain what they stand for.
The registry editor is NOT using the usual tree control other (except for Total Commander 2.0/2.5’s file system-like user interface) registry editors utilize and, therefore, it’s requires a bit more effort to go up/down a registry tree. For example, when you want to step into a subkey, you need to highlight it, bring up either the context and / or the Action menu and select Open. Going back to the parent key is doing the same on the .. symbol. You can also use the six predefined keys in the Goto menu to quickly switch to the six most important positions in the registry tree. Finally, you can double-click a subkey for faster navigation - then, you won't need to bring up the menu and select Open.
Importing RegEd 5-format files works (Unicode only – as with Resco Registry Editor, the best registry editor, it doesn’t import non-Unicode files and doesn’t display an error message either).
Exporting also works; it exports to (Unicode) RegEd 5 files. Exporting is considerably faster than with Resco – this may be advantageous when you frequently export the entire registry.
It also has registry searching capabilities. The search GUI has fine-tuning capabilities: you can ask for case-sensitive, data-only etc. searching) in Registry Search / Tools / Settings as can be seen in here and here. The results are, by default, found in both key / value names and data. Unfortunately, it doesn’t search Unicode binary data (for example, mail server names in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Inbox\LdapInfo]) – in this respect, Resco is definitely superior. However, the S-K folks have told me they’ll implement the latter.
As far as editing capabilities are concerned, it’s able to correctly (as opposed to, for example, PHM, Total Commander and Merlin) edit multiline strings. Upon editing DWORD values, you can only use decimal numbers (no hex/ binary / octal input possible). The binary editor isn’t very sophisticated either, compared to Resco, Vidya or Merlin – but at least works.
All in all, as far as strictly the new registry editor / export / import / backup / restore functionality of SKTools is concerned, it’s certainly welcome, usable, reliable (!) and makes the entire suite more than a must for all serious Pocket PC users. However, don’t throw your Resco Registry Editor away – for some tasks, it’s still unrivalled and is (still) considerably better than the regededitor functionality of SKTools.
However, don't think SKTools is bad - it is definitely the Number One all-in-one system tool around. It's just that its registry editor (and backup / restore module - please see the Backup Bible) isn't so strong as those of some other commercial applications. However, don't forget there are a lot of other, top-notch modules in the entire suite, which do make SKTools, price/performnce-wise, the best all-in-one utility suite.

just when i thought this app would be useful to install all of my favorite apps after a clean flash i was wrong.. or well it might do that, but the unlimited trial only allows for 1 cab to be placed in there, and what good is that when i can just store that 1 cab on my storage card... would be great if the trial would let you do more than 1 cab.. maybe something like 5-10.. and at a price of 45euro or $60usd its not worth it just to see if it may or may not work with multiple cabs..

It edits the registry, so if you have plugin order in your xml you will probably need to remove it. That way plugin order will come from reg, where this app does its magic.

I just wanted to point out that I have pretty much confirmed this works on the T-Mobile Shadow with the Shadow's Neo (pre-WM 6.1) interface as well!

Probably there's a limit set by CHome but I'm pretty sure that you'll be tired of flipping through all the pages before reaching the limit

I think that the limit is 12.

On my Excalibur using Rickswatt 6.1 ROM, he has included CApplications with 20 pages without problem. But it could be different on you device.

works on typhoon too
It's working on my Typhoon (Aleut's WM6.1 for Typhoon/Feeler/Amadeus pre [1.3])

working almost perfectly on my Blackjack with Da_G's WM6.1 ROM.
the one problem i have is a program crash when using the contact dialer template. i pick the contact, choose to enable/disable SMS, and then crash. the app and link templates are working OK.
not a huge problem. although it would be nice if someone could let me know the manual command to map SMS to softkey 2. that's the only thing i'm looking for.

Love the program. Quick question: I run the java version of gmail through esmertec jbed. I used the applications launcher template in chome configurator to create a homescreen shortcut to run gmail. However, when i launch the application via the shortcut, it simply opens jbed and from there I have to launch the gmail application manually. The start menu shortcut I created a long time ago uses the exact same command line ("\windows\jbed.exe" -run s3_) works perfectly and opens gmail directly.
Has anybody seen this issue and figured out the solution? Thanks in advance.

Can you help me figure out how to use cMyFaves?
I've seen screenshots suggesting that it's liken to the HTC Home Favorite Contacts dialer.
But, I could never get it to show up in the Home screen of my Cingular 3100 running Erofich's WM6.1 Standard.
Is there something lacking in the OS that I need to include?
Please advise me.
