Hi!
I'm looking for some ringtones for windows mobile 6. Where every I search I find only song-like ringtones. I just want some ringers. Not symphonies or rock songs. Do you know where I can find some simple ring tones?
Here's a good collection :

Perhaps you haven't read my message. I'm not looking for songs to use for ringtones. I'm just looking for plain ring-tones. Something like 'ring-ring' or 'beep-beep-beep' or nokia tune etc. I'm not looking for songs that were converted to ring tones.

Hi Guys
For .wav clips (rather than those dreadful polyphonic twangs) try:-

Put files thru activesync, explore into Windows, Rings for ringtones & into Windows folder for alarms. Some of the sounds I found were really funny
Thanks for the links.

Hiya,
Im using a Universal with WM6, the built in tones arnt loud enough for me. I downloaded a few more tones but they dont seem to be loud enough either, can anyone recommend some really loud tones?
Also, im trying to figure out how to install my own ringtones for SMS messages. I cant seem to see the same tones i have on the incoming call list of tones.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
a free pc program like goldwave can amplify audio files default vol lvl
and sms tones need to be wav
is there any way to convert the standard wm ringtone to wav format so i can use it as a sms tone? one of them sounds like it would be perfect for sms.
also, do i put the sms tones in the same ringtone folder (im using wm6)
cheers
easy quick way is to use the free pc program called cdex it let you convert just about any audio format to any other
thanks so much, but do i put the alert tones in the /ringtones folder too?
thanks
I have stupid question how can I change alarm tones ?
I using WM 6
Thanks
Ya, that took me a while to figure out too. Apparently, you can use any midi file. Just drop it into /My Device/Windows/ folder and restart the Alarm application. You should see it in the list to choose from.
Personally, I stopped using the windows alarm because I have Pocket Music Bundle 5.0.1 installed. It's awesome as an MP3 player and on top of that it has a built in alarm. So I just set it to whatever time and my favorite MP3 just plays. You can also incorporate various special effects like fade in when the song starts so you don't get a heart attack at 6am!

Hi everyone!
The most common problem with vox is one cannot set custom alert tones for sms and mail alert.
I read somewhere that WMA tones can be set as alert tones if placed under Wndows folder or Windows/Rings folder.
Tried the same.
I used http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wma site to convert an mp3 alert to wma. I used 128kbps/22khz/Mono (tried Stereo as well) but it didnt appear in the settings.
Any suggestions regarding bitrate or any other point?
I'm very desperate to apply new tones to my alert since i'm extremely bored with the same tones since years now.
Kindly help...

Hey all. When I had my Lumia 900, I found a great app that searched Amazon for ringtones called easyRing & Music. I haven't found a comparable app on Android at all. Does anyone have any recommendations for ringtone apps? I've tried all the "MP3 Ringtone" apps that are available. I'm basically looking for an app that just has short ringtones of regular songs, not full songs that I have to create ringtones from. Thanks for any help.
