WM6 Joint Effort ROM

Hi all,
I just want to suggest something here. Especially to the senior members like Jwright and helmi. After testing a number of WM6 ROM from this forum, I find that each ROM has its own plus. IMO, helmi's ROM is more stable and has better memory mgmt. Whereas, Jwright's ROM is more updated and has more features. So I was just thinking if the 2 of you can work together and built a super duper ROM that has all of the above. Wouldn't it be great?

Great idea ... but may not be very practical considering they do these things in their spare time!

Its a great idea.However, like apd said each one is in his own business and to get together is a hard thinking but in literal sense it may be difficult. But if both are reading this thread and derive to some conclusion , of course it would be welcome by all of us.

how about built your own rom? dont u think that will so much better for the community? currently I dont hv time uploading Uni WM6 rom kitchen, I'll upload it when I hv time, so user even newbie might built their own personal rom...dont u think thats cool...? stay tune...

Can't wait for it!!! The Scoter kitchen is great for WM5.

Clean updated Base rom

Hey guys some of you may know me, I used to cook a lot around here now i stopped because my MDA wasn't in use anymore. I'm starting to use it again well looking to get back into cooking..
I picked up a few kitchens and all of the ones I've found have some sort of Touch flo files where the X button would not work right ect more problems. as you see I'm not a fan of touch files. maybe not being around so much anymore i over looked a clean rom that's up-to-date I can use to start cooking for my device

call me stupid if I'm wrong but isn't that the same build from way back when? lol that isn't a recent update is it?
and I'm not technically looking for a rom to flash im looking for the files to build off of just to clear that up..i guess I could always dig up core kitchen and extract it even though i see like 100 updates to that kitchen lmao

question FASTEST ROM

im looking for the fastest rom to put on my wing i been searching and looking at all the roms but i cant choose and i been reading that there is a windows 6.1 manila rom or something like that but i cant find the download for it anyone willing to help :]

Well the best ROMs I think are Just2Clean and Open Touch 6.5 lite no spb.
I use the Open Touch one cause it is real fast and comes with good programs that I use a lot of and I've been using it for a long time. Those Manilla ROMs suck and are slow even while being overclocked and the TF2D eats RAM especially if you also have S2U2 in the background.

That's based on one of my older ROMs. Just2Clean.
They modified it by adding a few bits of software. ^_^
I happened to run into that video yesterday and a post in a different forum describing it. It was lucky that I found it before you asked.
I'm also working on a more current ROM, JustStable.
I also made a JustMe after Just2Clean.

yes thats the one that i want which one do would you recommend for my wing cause im getting tired of not having enough memory to open the camera and i want to have a fast phone too that works with everything :]

Just try one. JustStable hasn't been released yet, but it's the newest. If you want the ultimate in RAM and storage space, try JustMe. I have NEVER run out of memory while using it. And you also get 70mb of FREE storage space.
I haven't finished JustStable, but there will also be a stripped version.
Any ROM you get from these forums will be 100x better than the tmobile one. The only thing required is that you read up on:
HardSPL for Herald/wing
How to flash through an SD card for Herald/wing
And what a ROM is.

OMG i love the look of that rom, when you say based on does it look the same i just have to install my own sw cabs or is there more to it, is it solid colors or the koooaid theme? im looking for it now hopefully there are screenshots left

No, it doesn't look like that. He themed it differently. The core itself is my ROM. The speed is my ROM.

ok so i understand, your roms are stripped clean so that there is room to add what i want? htc home screen, themes and sw is that right i can be a little slow lol

That's right. My ROMs tend to be stripped to the core.

Hey, i'd love to get that one too. Please feed the needy.. I installed some crappy ROM named Yang something and after installing a the touchflo 2D and a couple of other cabs, i did a hard reset and it keeps restarting. Don't know what to do. Please help..

Take out your sd-card when rebooting (helped for me)

the justme rom ivan because the rom im using its slow at times. and your rom theres no need to overclock right?

I don't overclock my phone. No need to in my ROMs. JustMe is a little more complicated. It's not really meant for newer users. It allows you to create a custom ROM. If you just want a ROM, try JustStable, it's not finished, yet, but it's "release" quality right now.
Search for the "how to flash" guide.
JustMe requires that you CREATE a custom version of my ROM.

hmmm, the linked file and the file in the directory have the same url yet the link only takes u to the list of devs...before anyone complains just click drizzy's name and go to ddr-Hero-v1.0.zip for ur download...he'll fix it in time.

Xillius200's & Mikeyman77's XM Froyo Sense 2.2 (CLOSED)(READ OP - 21/11/2010/)

So OK we started this aria 2.2 project and we have gotten this far we are happy ^^ also with that we also ported a 2.2 legend rom which we were thinking of doing as well but after having both running we only had camera and bluetooth to fix on both xD anyway after having both running we realise we might as well stick to eclair sense there is absolutely no difference except the 2.1 sense is faster and that one is a different build number there is NO difference at all xD so we have decided to stick to 2.1 as it is much better ^^ so as of today this project is being shut down if any devs want to carry on with 2.2 be my guest but don't worry 2.1 shall continue and get faster and hopefully we will do a 2.3 when it's out gingerbread that is lol
PS: Pls don't argue about me closing the sense froyo 2.2 rom im also not happy but what I say above is true so it's more logical and the smarter option to create a better chain and better roms lol also infcat in the time i've been here must be over a year this is the first time I believe I have ever closed a thread bar the donut exception cause of a few ppl lol

I know three reason people love Sense:
1. Sense is prettier
2. Swap Friendly
3. Has a better interface and web-browsing experience.

set the animations to off and the setcpu to 556mhz with the new ezterry kernel and it fixes lol near enough ^^ well best we could do at the time lol I blame mikeyman77 trying to add jit and edit build.prop for over 6 hours xD

lol i took off animations but still quite unresponsive and rosie lags.
apps open fast but unstable rom a little
sorry.
but its just beta 1 so a lot of fixes needed
