I have a motorola HS850 headset and would like to use MS Voice command with it, i have changed the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand Path = "\Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCmd.exe
so it should now open voice command. But nothing happens, however when holding the button for an extended period it still auto calls the last number.
Can someone help me out? Doesn't seem to want to launch MS Voice Command at all.
I am running MS voice command 1.6.19214 - it installed with an error but at the end said that it was successful. Tried hard resetting and same thing.
Now for the actual problem...
It works most of the time ... but on some occasions the audio through the loudspeaker does not sound after MS voice command has said something until the phone has been restarted. Also sometimes when answering a call it says "call from Someone on Mobile Phone" repeadatly after answering the call (even while I am on the call which is very anoying) until i restart.
Has anyone experienced either of these issues or know how to fix them?
Thanks in advance,
Kris Bennett
I have experienced the same issue as well. From what I have read, Sprint is aware of the issue with Voice Command and will be putting out an updated soon. Sorry I don't have the answer, but at least you know you're not alone.
hi there...an interesting issue.....all of a sudden, all my voice tags have gone! there is not even an option to create a tag now! how is it possible....and no, ive not done a hard reset of late. flashed a new rom, after which voice tags were working fine.
i use microsoft voice command by the way, but being an indian, the software finds it difficult to place the accent and syllable emphasis.
any ideas? would like to restore the voice tag capability....great boon while im driving.
also, one more question, how do i configure the call button on the headset to activate the voice program? was originally working that way when i had the sh***y cyberon voice commander.
My last phone was a nokia 6210 Navigator. It had a setting that spoke the name of the person calling. I thought it was pretty good as I didnt need to look at my phone to see who was calling me. Is there anything like this for the HD2??

Hey I have got same problem, I tried MS Voice, but its no got, wasted my money.
Ive just tried Microsoft Voice Command 1.6. The voice is naff. All I want it to do is say the callers name, Nothing else. Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 say "Call from xxx at home from Vodafone" or something along those lines, I couldn't quite make all of it out. Its bobar!
voice command hasn't worked properly for a while. once upon a time it used trip announce incoming caller..theres a guy trying to get it working in dev and hacking.check out his thread for more details.
one option is to record the most common callers you have as a voice tag, mp3 or whatever, then assign each one as a ringtone., lot ofwork though..
since it appears that voice enabling anything more than basic calls on android is a low or non-existent priority for Google; has anyone tried porting or redesigning the voice command program from old windows mobile? That was one of the best voice command functions I have used.
