Dutty V3 And AT&T Radio

Hey Guys,
I just upgraded to Dutty's v3 and am using a A&T TILT. I have no sound or camera. I have tried every radio on Dutty's cab collection. HELP!!!! I currently have 12.14.09.
PLEASE read the sticky on radios before posting this kind of question. The radio that you are using can only be used with the official AT&T rom, or the old dutty AT&T rom which is based on the official AT&T rom. Go look at the radio sticky and it will tell you all you need to know about what radio to use. I also have a tilt and it works great with the radio listed in my sig. That radio is available on Dutty's FTP under the radio folder.
As for trying other radios using cabs... radios are not cabs. They require a flash just like the V3 rom did.

There's a thread already created for Dutty's ROM
All issues should be addressed there
Quick suggestion.....read, flash a radio that's compatible w/Dutty's Rom & then re-flash the Rom
I found that the 1.27.11.31 radio works great and fast camera with the ATT tilt, I have duttys daultouch v3 and that radio installed. You will also have to get the keyboard fix.
Why would you reflash after you install the radio, just wondering the reasoning behind that?
Have Tilt and flash'd. Now how do I get...
I flashed to Dutty' new V3 and .31 radio and keyboard. My question is what do I change in my setting to get gmail to work? I am missing MobiTv. Am I missing TouchFlo too?

radio does not change

hello, i was having some problems with radio version 1.65.x
and i tried to flash the newer dutty 6.1 rom with 1.64.x radio.
although it was flashed successfully on boot time it shows that i still have the 1.65.x radio
and i keep on facing the same problems
basically it seems that i cannot overwrite the radio rom!
can you please help me? any ideas?
if you have a radio version 1.65.17.10, you will not be able to change your radio

and then because i was facing many problems i flashed dutty 6.1 with 1.64.x
but the radio rom did not change.

He means 1.65.17.10. Not 1.64.17.10. That radio is unchangeable my friend. The last four numbers in the radio are very important. If that is the radio you flashed or have on your phone then you can begin reading this thread. They are working on it and I'm sure they will get it.

Help Me - Radio/ROM Question

I have an unlocked AT&T Tilt, although I am a T-Mobile subscriber. Everything is working, except I hate the ROM that came with the phone when I bought it...I think it's a DCS rom. Anyway, I don't understand the whole thing about Radios... I would like to try Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid v2 5.2.19716/5.2.19700 ROM, but I don't think I have the right version of the Radio? Here's what my device information screen says:
ROM version: DCSv1.7-WM6.1 WWE
ROM date: 02/19/08
Radio version: 1.70.OliNex
Protocol version: 25.65.30.04H
I have checked and HardSPL is installed, but I don't see anything about my radio being compatible. Can I use Dutty's Rom? HELP!!
TIA!

A radio is the driver to some of the hardware, camera/GPS/sound etc. Usually each ROM lists atleast one compatable radio. Some ROM's flash a radio with the ROM.
If you install a ROM and it doesn't work, just use the suggested radio (or search the ROM thread, there will be suggestions in there, I'm sure) and flash that in the same way you flashed the ROM.

I see. So the radio version listed in my device information is just the version of the radio "driver" software. Thank you for your help, I think I understand now.

I'd try a new radio, I've not heard of 1.7.OliNex before.
OliNex == OliPro + cmonex, but I think that's thier polaris radio, not a kaiser one, and I have never seen anyone with it on a kaiser.
I found one post on google, someone had it on a kaiser and was having problems.

That radio is used to SIM / CID unlock your phone. You must use that radio to run Olipro's SIM / CID unlock process. It's a modified radio.
See here.

Dutty actually has two version of this ROM. One that works w/ different versions of radios. Check the Ultimate Radio Thread to see which one works with which one or check Dutty's thread concerning that specific ROM.

Don't you usually have to flash another radio after the SIM/CID unlocking ones to make your phone work again? That's the case with Jocky's anyhow?

I bought the phone unlocked like this about two months ago and it's been working (aside from some notification queue problems), so I guess not!
I think the Dutty rom includes a compatible radio, so I'm just gonna try flashing it and see what happens. I can always flash a new radio separately, right?

Correct. It's just like flashing a ROM, except you don't lose any data, settings etc. etc.

Yeah you do have to flash another Radio. But Some people don't. Why? I think you and I both know why.

Any body help me!!Howto downgrade radio-firmware 1.54.30.10 ??

ANY body help me!!!!!!!!
There are plenty of posts here at XDA that would have told you that as of now, this radio version can not be downgraded.
The search function is a beautiful thing ....
re
I have same problem, and have found WM6 (one of the official ROW roms) works ok with 1.54.30.10. WM6.1 is much worse.
If you are having a lot of problems dropping calls etc try going back to an official WM6 ROM.

I don't have this version. but this version is used by the main carrier's official WM6 ROM so it can't be that bad would it?
@ronin0215
I have not tried this so I am not sure if it works. But I have an idea. If you install the hard SPL from Olipro. In step 2, it writes an older radio file (I think it was 1.15 or something) onto the device. if it works then you can flash it with any version of radio you like.
