Please coluld someone tell me how can I delete the Welcome link from the Windows\StartUp folder of my treo 750 rom? I need because the touchscreen doesn't work and I need to bypass the align screen after a hard reset. Many thanks.

Hi there, i have the same problem. I have a broken display and can not find the right spots. Tried MyMobiler and VHPPCCapture. don´t work.
Tried it also to delete after Activesync got a connection.
is there any rom out there with no Welcome-Screen?

miscres.96.dll , pegcards.96.dll and syncres.96.dll don't exist in my himalaya ... i'have put in the archive the normal dll ...

I figured that some of the files might not be suffixed with .96 but didn't know for sure.

I have deleted the link to the settings from my startmenu because I had the item twice with wa2. No the trial period is over and I want my settings menu link back :-(
How can this be done?

I have found out that there is a startmenufolder in the windows directory which contains the link to settings which i have deleted, so please could someone open the link to the settings page in textmode and post the content of it? Should be something like this: 21#:MSCALENDAR?outres.dll,-10002

My device, WM5, only has a 'Settings' directory under the \Windows\StartMenu directory. Sorry can't help you. Others?
Oh no, actually you HAVE helped me! I just created a new folder and named it to "settings". Although i left it empty, wm takes me to the settings now when i click on it! very strange...

No need, just install this cab and it will map the right soft key to the lockscreen.

I have made a foolish thing and i need help
I have topaz with windows mobile 6.5 greek rom
I install some dll files for the top bar and after reboot the windows fail to boot
I know i can do a hard reset to fix the phone but i have some files in the internal memory from a program that i need to save. There are important files from my work
Is there any way that i can save them?

put this in your windows folder on your device worked for my lg gm750
edit: you will also have to install it via the configuration (in your cfg panel)

Thanks for the tool, but how to configure it? After copying it in the windows folder, a istall message popped up, finished installing, started the program from windows folder, some configuration window appeared, tryied to configure it, but nothing happens. Same behaviour. The screen rotates for iexplorer, sms and a few other programs that worked before too.
