Is there anywhere who can help me....
Hi,
I have the same problem too. I just updated to ROM1.60c and ActiveSync 4.1 build 4807. When I try to sync, tt keeps giving me the error code 85010014.
The funny thing is, I have no problems syncing Notes from Outlook. But the other Outlook items like Contacts, Calendar and Tasks are not so lucky.
What's happening? I've already allowed the exceptions in my Windows Firewall...
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I had the same 85010014 problem when syncing on my BA. Typically I "Work Offline" with Outlook, since I'm on the road a lot.
The fix was to make sure I was connected to my Exchange Server the first time I sync-ed my PDA. In my case, I had to connect to my office through VPN and choose "Connect" when prompted after launching Outlook.
Hope this helps!
Hey kcchen,
Thanks once again! I replied in the other post already, but just wanna thank u again.

Activesync 4.1 and Tom Tom 5
Similar problem here guys but I don't sync with an exchange server, just the local PC, everything else seems to work fine but when I try to install TT5 the install pukes and wants to send an error report to MS
Help!
It is the same problem to me (only have Local PC). Could some one give more advice.
I solved my ActiveSync problem with Error 85010014.
I also run Eudora and Incredimail Plugin for Outlook on both PCs, Work and Home. Both are on XP Pro SP2 and when I installed ActiveSync 4.1 on my work PC without issue, I decided to attack my Home PC Outlook installation to see if I could resolve the issue.
I installed ActiveSync 4.1 on my Work PC - XP Pro SP2 with Office 2003, Eudora and Incredimail Outlook Plugin. No Problem with ActiveSync there.
So, At home:
Putting Outlook in Offline mode did not solve the problem.
I uninstalled ActiveSync 4.0 and installed ActiveSync 4.1 - No difference.
I backed up Outlook via 3rd party program to grab account settings as well as my 2GB pst file then ran Help->Detect and Repair... - reboot, no difference.
I then ran Control Panel -> Add or remove Programs -> Office 2003 and chose to modify my installation by adding or removing components. I unchecked Outlook and updated it to remove Outlook from my Office 2003 suite. Then returned to this option and re-checked Outlook to add it back to my Office 2003 Suite, CD-Rom in hand but updating, it did not ask for the Office 2003 Install CD-Rom... - Rebooted and connected - Bingo NO 85010014 error!

Active Sync Error: 0x85010001

Hi there anyone experiencing ActiveSync issue with the following information
Support Code: 0x85010001
Result: Your account in Microsoft Exchange Server does not have permission to synchronize with your current settings.
Cheers
Fei Yu
Server: Exchange 2003 Server SP2
Device: Dopod 818 pro
ActiveSync: Version 4.1
Can you access Outlook Mobile Access at http://yourserver/oma ?

hi there,
i think this is because you are accessing the web mail at the same time. log off from the account, remove all the setting and softreset your device.
then set it again.
this solved my problem.

Synchronisation WM5 with a Exchage Server

Hello everbody,
I've a problem with my configuration. I'have installed an Exchange Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. And all is ok. A Server ActiveSynch is also installed in the Exchange server. The exchange server has an ip adress (160.98.2.49) and the ActiveSynch server (160.98.2.45).
I can do a connection with my browser with https://160.98.2.49 for a outlook web mail consultation. All is ok. But when I connect my PDA with exchange, I've an error (ActiveSynch encountered a problem on the server error : 85010014).
Sombody can help me ?
Thanks.

Activesync Exchange Server Problem after update wm6.1

Hello all,
I'm having a problem after installed the new HTC Touch Cruise - Windows Mobile® 6.1 Upgrade my activesync returns a error now while connecting to my company exhange server.
The error code is "Support code: 0x80072F06"
It all worked fine before the upgrade with the original WM 6.0 ROM.
Can anyone help me or has/had the same problem?
Thanks.
0x80072F06 is a CN mismatch error. Make sure the name you enter in ActiveSync configuration matches the CN of the ssl certificate on the Exchange box.
Rgds,
Marcus.
thanks,
solved by changing the address of exchange server.

XTNDConnect PC 7.0 - cannot sync

Hello!
I recently bought this product and just cannot get it working.
I am trying to sync Outlook with an SE Xperia X1.
Some information:
Version: 7.0 (1033)
Product ID: 101-101, Build: 10106
Mobile Device: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Personal Information Manager: MS Outlook 2002 SP3
I have already read and obeyed to what is described here:
http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1054315#errorMessagesFAQ_q7
I.e.:
I am using ActiveSync 4.5.
I have no firewall running.
I have installed the XTND cab file in memory on my mobile.
Specific error and problem description:
When syncing I always receive:
Error 1004: Unable to connect to device. Verify that ActiveSync is
running.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
But why do you need xtnd connect to sync with Outlook?
I got the same problem while trying to sync with novell groupwise and the reason turned out ot be a lack of correct translators for the WM 6.1.
Xtnd connect 7.1 though seem to have these & work allright, but it was subject to a new purchase.. which has been keeping me from syncing for a while.. :-(
