My smartphone has an QVGA panel. I change dpi from 131 to 96. But the title bar's icons (battery, signal, an so on) are incorrect, anyone know how to crack it. Thanks.

HELP: Bluetooth Icon moves and is gone.

Anybody know how to resolve this:
The Bluetooth Icon located on the TitleBar next to the 3G or H icon, when bluetooth is turned on, disappeares after having modified some settings in Advanced Configuration Tools 3.1 by Schap's.
It actually moves to the upperleft corner of the popup balloon when tapping the 3G or H icon and is colored blue as well.
Any change of this blue colored icon can be placed next to the 3G icon, instead of in the connections-bubble?
Or even to let me have my bluetooth (black and white) icon back where it originally should be situated, next to the 3G / H icon?
Anybody know which settings in Adv. Config Tools perform this operation, or know a workaround in the registry?

I have found the thing that makes the bleutooth icon go from the statusbar or titlebar to be gone or to the connectivity bubble:
It has something to do with switching the phone skin on/off.
Phone skin is enabled/disabled with Advanced Config Tools 3.1 by Schap's by going to Phone section, on top you see, Phone skin: disabled (default) and enabled (advised).
I like the disabled (default) better than the advised one, i think the keybuttons look way fancier.
Now the white buttons on the enabled (advised) one are not bad, but the thing is when this one is selected, you don't have any bubbles anymore when clicking on some of the icons above in the titlebar, now first you get a systemstatus screen, with the icons as buttons. Once you click an icon, you go back and the bubble of that paticular icon is displayed.
Plus there's no or just one almost 'hard to see' scrollbar next to the SIM contacts.
I'll stick with the original (enabled/advised) one, because off videocall mode option, bluetooth icon on titlebar and relative good buttons, but it's too bad the scrollbar isn't shown properly.
If someone knows how to edit this skin to make it all work, please do so.
The location for the changing the skin is HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin
in HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin set Enabled to 1 for original
set Enabled to 0 to get the black button skin.
There's also a string or D-Word there which contains a .DLL file information, perhaps this is the DLL that contains the skin so somebody can modify this file. Look for it in that regfolder HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin.
Attached some pics to give you an idea what i'm talking about.

Reduce taskbar height?

Is it possible to make the taskbar smaller by reducing the height of it? It's 480x52 by default and I tried to reduce it to 480x49 for example, didn't work. I tried to put 4 transparent pixels on the bottom instead of reducing the image size, didn't work.
Any clues?

[Q] lcd density status bar

I recently rooted my archos 43IT and now i have changed the lcd density from 240 to 200 and i love it but the status bar has become transparent except for a tiny chunk on the far left.
This doesn't affect how easy it is to use but it is annoying and i would rather that it was completely transparent or a solid colour
Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?
thanks

[Q] Prepping Android stick for car

Hi
I'm in the process of installing a Android-stick in my car by HDMI to display on the original 7" screen and controlled with a touch-plate overlay.
That part is done and its working, but with such a low res screen (800x480 native) with stick running 720p the menus and text become unreadable even in "huge" mode. This i was able to more or less fix by using an app "Resolution Changer" which allows for changing resolution and DPI.
Problem is that icons will start to overlap/cut eachother if tweaked too muuch and app names disappear, also the standard android menu and statusbar remains tiny.
My biggest problem now, after trying a different launcher, this one with a "windows 8" kind of layout, all icons are on top of eachother and I cant switch launcher back or find the icon for settings or Resolution Changer.
Hope anyone have tips on how to solve it other than reflashing, well, Its not a biggie, but would prefer not to.
