Ok this is getting to the point of useless .. my phone does not have GM+10 Melbourne which is odd because Melbourne is a capital city of Australia while it has Brisbane and Hobart .
Now I cant be sure its the Time Zone name that is stuffing things up but constantly the phone has changed its own time some how to 1hr different to the real time twice this week its done it and Its driving me nuts as waking up at 4am instead of 5am is not my idea of fun , while I cant put my finger on exactly when its changes its a pain in the ass !
I am going to do some testing as this has happened more than just once .
But if anyone knows why the phone would be changing time please let me know as it does not seem to be daylight savings.

I am really fed up with having to change the clock on my mobile to match with my laptop after a soft reset. Ever since I installed the daylight savings for my mobile, it screw up the time. I don't wear a watch and rely on my cellphone for time, I would be one hour late every single time. HELP!!
I am sure there are a lot of you out there that change ROMs frequently but I have done a few recently that make me think I may need professional help...
I wont name the ROMs I was switching from/to or any reasons behind my switching. I will simply say I was not happy with them for one reason or another.
Two times over this past weekend I got home after 4 in the morning and tryed a couple ROMs out till around 5 a.m.
Another time I was downtown and got anooyed at a particular issue in a ROM and flashed from my carpc...
The final time was today on a flight to St. Louis... I flashed my phone on a plane, in the air. I may have a started a whole new mile high club. (I am a card carrying member of the original mile high club already)

Just wanted to share my experience with you guys :
Untill recently i was a Nokia feature phone owner but my fortunes changed quickly and am now lucky to an android smartphone .
Feature phone to smartphone that too an android - the gap was too wide and i couldn't help but become addicted to my cellphone exploring different possibilities which of course landed me in here like most of you guys ! I spent my day searching for new stuff - Roms,tweaks,games etc and after i get home at night - i try em out . For the past few months my nights were more or less sleepless - i could sit hours trolling around xda off topics or playing those tower defences not to mention some of those addictive mmorpgs ! My night setup consists of me and my sgsa on my bed staring at each other with no other ambient light source in the room and the brightness slider pulled back to the left most end thinking it will help relax the strain on my eyes . All was going fine untill last week - When i woke up after like 3.5 - 4 hours of routine sleep i vision seemed to blur a bit - when i tried to focus on something - it appeared to me as double - the feeling is short lived though - and after a few minutes maybe 5 or 10 minutes it goes away . When this is weird vision syndrome became a routine i visited an ophthalmologist and written below are the myths and facts I've got from her .
Myth :
*"Using Phone in dark degrades vision ."
While its true that some strain is put on the eye while using any type displays in dark due to difference in Luminescence - vision does not degrade or you won't need to wear specs ! Moreover strain can build up even if you use your device for prolonged periods during the day .
Tips :
No medicines were prescribed to me just some tips which i thought i would share with you guys as they helped me a lot :
*try to flush eyes with some water every 1 hours or so (i skip this one )
*rub your palms till they become warm enough - then place em tightly over your closed eye lids for some time .
*rotate your eyes slowly 15 - 25 times first in clockwise direction and then in anticlockwise direction - this is the most usefull one for me , the repetition number doesn't matter - just do it .
*if possible focus your eyes at a relatively far point from time to time while using your device .
*sleeping does matter -recommend 6 hours minimum 4- 5 hours . She told me that lack of proper sleep can cause vision fluctuations
*finally remember to blink don't let your eyes run dry

My OPO was normal this morning. Went to my morning ride with the phone in my pocket.
When I got back, It was asking the initialization question of "What language would you like ?"
It took me few minutes to understand that it is like fully formatted and ALL my data is gone. It was only partially backup up (did not back up videos... damn) .
I was running the official CM12.1 , and it was also fully encrypted !!!!
Does anyone have any understanding of what could be the cause ?

I'm experiencing the same thing.
It's happened to me a total of 3 times. Every time it's been during a hot day. Every time it's been with me walking around for an extended distance.
1) Walking through a downtown, trying to meet up with friends while in Grand Rapids, MI
2) Traveling through East Africa <-this one was a whole lot of fun :-/
3) Walking through Grand Rapids, MI again. Same downtown area, about the same heat as before.
Each time my phone has been in my pocket and it's been around mid-day. Each time the battery is charged.
Additional fun, the first time this happened, not only did I lose everything on the phone, but it also rebooted, and set itself up in ~SPANISH~.
Best of luck, I haven't seen anything in response to a resolution.
EDIT: I should also add that these happened over the course of 3 years. The most recent time was 2 weeks ago on 6.0, stock rom, nothing has been changed on the phone.
So as you guys know most of the US change to daylight savings time today, but us trailblazers in Arizona don't, however my phone woke me up an hour earlier than necessary today and needless to say I'm a bit annoyed. I'm not finding an Arizona timezone in the list (my phone defaults to Mountain time, which is only right half of the year) or an option to disable DST. Am I missing something or am I just stuck manually changing timezones twice a year? Kind of annoying if so since the whole reason for not observing DST is to not have to worry about changing the clocks. Never had this issue on my other phones.

Edit: Nevermind, just realized I could set it to MST and leave it there, and I don't think it will change DST on its own. Whoops.
I also woke up to this loveliness and an hour early for no reason. I vote we gang up and beat everyone who supports DST into line. Leave your clocks alone!!!!!!!!
I set mine to PST to fix.
