I have an SPV M1000 and updated the Rom 2003 -> WM2005 with AKU 3.5 24MB Pagepool and 40MB RAMDisk WWE. It works perfect. I've installed Tomtom 6 and solved the problem with the backlight.
BUT the SPV won't pair with my BT gps ; it finds the BT gps and when I fil in the `0000´ it won´t accept. Because of wm2005 I have more COMM ports but this won´t help!
Does anyone have a solution??
Widecomm perhaps ??

Just to confirm, have you paired the GPS before with 0000 ?
I have looked in the manual and for pairing I need "0000"
I using the BT gps with my Nokia 6260 smartophone and it works perfectly
SO ???
Do you need to put the GPS into pairing mode first? Most don't even have a pairing mode that I have seen, but perhaps yours does?
Also, maybe you have your phone's BT on, and it's not able to pair with your PDA because it's connected to your phone?
My ralkaline BT gps needs to pair with "0000" just like the original Tomtom gps.
I have now comm ports 0 to 9 available ; but this won't help
I need comm port 10 for this device
Problem solved
I bought an Tomtom wireless GPS Sirf III,
Perfect !

Hi,
I've upgraded the TomTom software and TomTom maps on my Treo to version 7. The problem I have no is that when I configure the GPS reciever in TomTom I no longer have the "Palm GPS" option I had in the TomTom6 version which was shipped with my Treo. Can anyone advise me of how to configure my Treo/TomTom7 to communicate with the GPS reciever. I can pair with the device fine with no problems.
Thanks.

Hey Guys
Hyper GPS beta9 doesn't work on this device. Did you try it already and did it work?
I have tried Hypergps today.
IGO8 can find TMC hardware if you set the driver to GNS and a free port (I have used COM5)
As there is no TMC radio station in my country, so I am not sure it is the real thing.
HyperGPS does not work on the Touch2. No radio transmitter is found while scanning. The radio on this device seem to be different than the radio of the Diamond for example. Has anyone an idea how to get this on the Touch2 to run?
