Anybody been able to use Phone Control .Net software with the i-mate SP5 running WM6? I've been trying with bluetooth and usb with no luck.
Phonecontrol successfully finds the sp5 over bluetooth but there are no services available (Serial Port)..

Hi,
Checked the posts but I am not sure so I'm asking for help.
I'm having rom 1.12 and radio 1.13 on my Qtek S100. Which of these BT stack should I try?
Is the size limit of the Bluesoleil one on PC side or on PPC side. I have a usb dongle and widcom on my PC so I just need a BT stack on my PPC.
Does anybody have the magician working with a dlink bleutooth access point (accidentaly have one laying around).
Thanks for the info,
S.
In the following link a guide that shows you how to connect your PDA to the Internet using the Bluetooth and your PC as a gateway.
http://www.aximsite.com/bluetooth/bt_guide4.htm#section11
I tried this method on my previous PDA which was i-mat 2k and wm2003 and it works fine.
Now I have i-mate K-JAM with wm5 OS 5.1.70 (Build14402.1.1.0) and there is no Bluetooth Manager, or any option like before.
any one have ideas how to do this in the new version
Before I get 10 replies saying "Cingular 2125 doesn't have Wi-Fi", let me say "I know". I have a Cingular 2125, which I understand is a variant of the HTC Faraday. I updated the ROM on this device to the newest i-Mate SP5 AKU2 ROM. The ROM has support for the Wi-Fi hardware in the SP5, and the Wi-Fi settings menu shows up on phone now after updating the ROM.
What I am wondering is if the Cingular 2125 phone that I have is a special version made for Cingular that is stripped of the Wi-Fi hardware? Or is it possible that it has the Wi-Fi hardware / chipset that Cingular has someone disabled.
After loading the SP5 AKU2 ROM, The Wi-Fi Connection Status says "Driver not loaded", not "Hardware not present"--which may not mean anything, but I was curious if anyone who is more familiar with the inside of the HTC Faraday variants would know more about this.
Thanks,
Andrew
Why asking if you give the answer in your own post.
No hardware so driver will not load. Same reason, different message.
I'm asking if anyone has verified that the 2125 does not have WiFi hardware versus just thinking that it doesn't because it has been disabled.

To answer your question, it does not have the WiFi hardware on the device.
AKU 2 & a2dp on 2125
I have an HTC/cingular 2125 (Faraday) & love it But I need to
1. Unlock it
2. Flash to AKU 2.x ROM
3. And get a2dp out of the deal
Do you know of an AKU 2.x ROM that will work on my 2125?
My 2125 is still locked and I have tried one utility but it failed to unlock.
All I really want is a2dp so I can use my fantastic iPHONO bluetooth headsets (that I bought almost two months ago, for this phone).
PLEASE help.
And can you "un-flash" a ROM if it does not work IF the ROM flash bombs out & the 2125 won't boot to Windows?
NOTE: For WiFi on 2125, try looking at this post:

(it is about the mini-SD Wi-Fi 802.11b card from Spectec - SDW-822)

Hello,
I've the following problem. I've a MDA Pro with WM6. It's a german Maxstegi 4.7, but I tried 2 differnt ROMs from your board but my problem persists.
Bluetooth is activated and working. This I checked with a Siemens HHB-750 A2DP Audiotransmitter. Then I tried to connect my i747
http://www.transystem.com.tw/p-gps-iblue747.htm
and googlemaps, wififofum and Tomtom can't find it, regardless of every combination of settings in external GPS and Bluetooth. The funny thing is that Navigon detected the GPS on COM1: serial cable but wasn't running because of memory problems. I checked the gps mouse with my laptop and it's running fine.
My question now: Has anyone this gps running on a Universal with WM6 or does anyone know about problems with the bluetooth stack and how to correct it, or which GPS via Bluetooth works somewhere with Tomtom?
Thanks
Alsaya
I have 727 and universall and WM6.0 (but french FLA242). no problme just have to do partenership and open a com port (for tomtom and universal it's com4. uncheck secure connect
@stephane.papin
Hello Stephane, I tried com4 with and without external GPS - no success. Secure connection is unchecked. Any more suggestions, please.

I've Radio 1.17. Is Bluetooth a function of radio? Will 1.18 help?
