Does anyone know if the full version of Links Smartphone edition will run on full screen on my Qtek 8500? I have tried the trial version but it's only running in WM2003 resolution (160x120, so not full screen). Maybe they have updated the full version. I love MS Links series, so any help would be really appreciated.
does anyone have a link (i searched)
for the differences between ppc2003se and wm6 (release from this site)
I use homeseer for home automation... the guys there are using nokia 800 and 810's... also iphones and other devices..
they said the new plugin is not compatible unless I meet...
blurb....
A typical use for this package would be for touch screen usage. I wrote this for use on my Linux based Nokia N800 with a Mozilla browser, however it can be used on any system with a web browser that is supported. This includes IE5+ and tested with the latest versions of Mozilla, Firefox, Safari and Opera, however they must be Javascript enabled.
so does the wm6 have javascript? also I guess I need to get one of the other browsers listed then???
Thanks
Jeff
p.s. link for you to see the plugin in action

Is there anyway to pull IE from WM6.1 standard (smartphone) to run on a WM6 or WM5 standard device? Similar to how ppl have pulled office 6.1 to run on wm5?
Thanks
So you are asking for the smartphone version for your professional device, correct?
No. I have a WM 6 standard device.
WM 6.1 standard is already out, and it has a newer version of IE mobile.
Is it possible to get the IE from WM 6.1 standard to run on WM 6 standard (or even WM 5 standard/smartphone).
We're all in standard/smartphone version right now.
I assume something similar can be done for the pro/touch screen devices as well, but I'm not asking about that.
Thanks
PS. I'm well aware that other browsers exist, such as opera. I'm specifically curious about getting the latest IE on older devices, similar to how we can run new mobile office apps on older devices.

Hey Guys,
I have ben using Tomal's V12 64mb for ages and am thinking of changing the browers to Opera, Although afert looing on teh opera website i found that there are two browers that can run on Uni:
Opera Mini
Opera Mobile
i would like some help to fiind out which of the is better!
I prefer Opera mobile over mini.
This is the version I have found more stable: Opera Browser 9.70.35627.0
Check my sig opera official thread and you´ll find all you need
Thanks
will try and report back
Yes, Opera Mobile is a bit better because it can handle Flash, and JS with a better way than Mini one. Same as orb3000 said Opera 9.7 is bettter I think because Mobile doesn't load websites for me or when downloading timer is there(ew. on rapidsaher free) it can load it. Mobile 10 missing that timer and Mini has it but it's not working. Btw. Opera Turbo is bit bugged because you must turn it off before saving images or downloading files. And best of all it works fine on 64mb RAM Uni (without upgrade). Good choice is Skyfire too. You can check it at www.skyfire.com and I really recommend it with a new version of 1.5.
Hi,
Apologies if this was discussed previously but I did search and could not find anything.
Can someone please advise what was the last HTC Windows Phone compatible with TomTom Mobile Navigator. I suspect it was HD2 running Windows Mobile 6.5 and if so I believe that
Samsung Omnia II (i8000) was the only competitor at the time, is this correct?
Thanks

I think you correct on your points, only other 2 other 6.5 mainstream devices I can think of was as you mentioned the Omnia II & also the Sony Ericsson X2.
I have TomTom on my HD2 & it is indeed great to use.
can you post a link from where to download it or maybe upload the install kit somewhere?
