I don't think it did. You can tell by going and looking at how you save a file. I don't remember but I know now that it gives you all the options to save a file in the 2007 format. I have the leaked AT&T Rom and don't remember seeing that.

FYI... I just went to the site and got this message:

I believe that WM6VoIP.CAB is for pocket pc.
well, i instaled it on my SPV E650, the plugin appears on the home screen but it says something like "Appels Internet: Service bloqué"... i think that Orange France does not allowed us to get acces or something like that.
Who knows how to make it work ?

Has anyone found a way to make voip work with this S710 device? Does it work with the .cab in this thread? I am desperately in need for such a solution.

I also dumped my ROM according to the wiki, but I'm afraid there are files missing. For example "coredll.dll" (539040 bytes) which is read-only, hidden, system and in ROM does not appear in my dump. I found unicode references in Part00 or Part01, but the viewimgfs tool can not extract from these parts.
Anyhow, ftg888 is right, a flash tut would be highly appreciated
I've just updated the page with info on the Okta Boss (www.oktamobile.com) which was just released in New Zealand by Telecom NZ yesterday.
It seems to be a hybrid between the HTC S710 and S730, but is CDMA based.

I wanted to share some good information and experiences I had with my phone as above
1. Backlight failure: Phone kept going black/no screen image. These people did a great job fixing it for me:

They are in Wimbledon and fixed the phone in 24 hrs. Price was just under £64all in (vat, carriage etc). This saved having to send phone back to Korea. I purchased it from an e bay shop, but no warranty passed along.

I added some overclock info regarding the Rose V0.4 rom. It should work for other roms but at the moment its a manual setting - I cant get TornadoPowerControl to work.

Yes to question 1.
Your guess is as good as anyone elses as far as this being the final release or not. I suspect that at a minimum the final will at least be updated to report the same version in Windows as it does in the image file. (Windows still reports it as 1.13, while the image reports as being 1.25).
You need to read every message in the two main WM6 threads before you're allowed to ask another question...you're grounded son!

I have version 2.0.1.33 pre-installed in my X7510. I searched the google maps mobile site, but did not find what the latest version is, does anyone know?
I wanted to know because I get this error "My location Beta is not compatible with the device" message. I was wondering if this problem was fixed in their latest version. Questions pertaining to this same question on their site has no answers, maybe someone here knows a solution?

The current version is 2.2.0.16. I have been successful in the past few months by DLing from www.google.com/glm/ on my device. I find that the page located here shows the version number, whereas www.google.com/gmm/ does not.

I received that same error message on version 2.2.0.10 while travelling a few weeks ago in Florida. I had never seen that message before, and was surprised I got it at all, considering that I KNOW GMM works with my device. I have not gotten that error message since that one time, so it might have been a fluky thing on their servers.
Anyway, I hope this helps in some way,

I get the same error, just disregard it. As far as I can tell, it doesn't affect anything with the app using GPS. It must be a feature abailable to specific devices.

Very strange. I DL'd from the URL I presented above (google.com/glm), and [I just double-checked] the version number it installed is also as above (2.2.0.16). I cannot explain why your's is different. Maybe it has something to do with locale???? Curious ... what version did the DL page state for you?

Hi guys I've been trying to download that version many times, but all I get is the "jad" file.
I've tried looking for the download link on my PC and windows mobile phone and the only place I can download it is in the "on a mobile device? click here."

Just go to the site from your phone, and from there you can download the cab. The .jad file is for Java, what device do you have?

I have the HTC Touch (Sprint Vogue). I stated that I tried that, but all I get is the .jad file. Other people have stated that they got theirs without any trouble.
I have downloaded the latest ROM with WM 6.1 from their official website.
Is there any other way I can get the cab?

Thanks for the help, but I found that using Opera or Skyfire will not give you the cab file.
You have to use Internet Explorer to get the file.

I got Google Maps to work correctly on my HTC X7510. The option "MY LOCATION" now works fine. All I did was set the options to "MANUALLY" locate GPS. Basically I plugged-in the vallues I used from Start>Connections>GPS Settings.
I'm a brand new HTC user. I got an HTC Touch 2 (T3333) today for the half the price because the Windows Mobile OS installed is in Dutch; the seller told me that it was impossible to change but I knew for sure that it was. I mean, we are installing Android on toasters nowadays...
So it is possible, as I found out on this board (the "Mega - ROM - Hotfix - User Manual - roll-up thread" topic; I can't post links yet, sorry). I've downloaded the ROM and I'm waiting for rapidshare to allow me to download the manual...
While I wait, could you be so kind to tell me if an Android port was successful on that telephone ? If so, how well it is supported ?
If not, I'm open to any fix and tweaks topics that you can point me out in order to get the maximum out of my new phone. I'm already searching the board but I'm listening...

lol its not my work... its the teams work at Touch2 / Mega section. You can check out my rom that im currently building its WM 6.5.5 os but still in working progress..

Hmmm...I tried upgrade with a French ROM but I can't, I get the 294 error. It wasn't that easy. I tried changing the settings in the Systems menu but that didn't work obviously.

hey guys dont know if opened before couldt find anywhere the topic. i installed mango to my hd7 not unlocked using provision. update went nice but now when i connect my hone to pc zune says needs to be updated then it cant update says : catn find media ZUNE WMDU compnent? any ideas?
Exact same issue here! That same stupid error - could a few people try updating their WP7 device by connecting it with Zune and see if the same issue comes up. I think this is definitely an issue - I bet this is a situation that people have not realized yet.... I thought I read somewhere that Zune software needs to be updated to 4.8 but I have no idea where to get this update (it appears hidden/locked down.)
this is in almost every thread that deals with mango, several of these with actual links to the files. Yes, the Zune 4.8 is a requirement. the files are listed in several threads here dealing with mango. you can also download it as a torrent, e.g. demonoid.

not sure if these still work. but again, files are on the green demon as well. I do not know which one of these is Zune 4.8. it's a file with over 230mb. Bing search works. I see you solved your problem by changing region.

Never mind i got it and updated but dont really see any difference from 7661

the zune client package contains both 32 and 64bit versions. the latest is here. It is version 4.8.2134.0 that came with the 7712 Mango update.
