THE RIGHT TITLE IS is this the REAL Windows Mobile 6 or another cooked ROM?
Do you know if this is another cooked ROM or a real version of Windows Mobile 6?
Also, Do you know if it is compatible with a QTEK 9100 G4? (AKA Wizard)

Umm, I think the CUSTEL rom is a Hermes rom as that is what I currently have on my 8525. You should probably look through the Rom threads here in this forum to find a Wizard compatible rom. If you flash a hermes rom onto a wizard (assuming it starts the write) you will ruin your device.
EDIT: but to answer your question yes it is a real WM6 COOKED rom.

Just curious why you chose to use older camera app
I saw the list of apps looks pretty impressive...but just have a question why you decided to base the ROM w/o the newest camera version.
Looks nice though...might have to give it a whirl...
My phone / coverage area does not seem to like the 1.58.26.20 radio however...so I will be changing that right away.

Installed this ROM for a while...
and I must say I am very impressed. Has a lot of nice features and is very very fast. I didn't have any issues with it. Great job my man...very nice indeed
The only thing I would change is have the Network Configuration Wizard pop up on 1st boot. Not that it's a big issue for me but that a lot of users might have problems on first boot

alltheway - I will look in to the camera. I pretty much tried to keeo it simple and not to many frills and fluf to slow things down.
As for the Net Config Wizzard, How does one go about getting it to pop on the first boot ? I used it straight from Alex's packages.
Why I have your attention can you explain why it shows the 1.60.00.00 on boot and how to correct it ?

Not sure.
It was in Alex's packages adn I own a copy so I use it.
You do have to have a code to make it functional though
I guess I could leave it out for the general population next time.

I don't think there is anything wrong with putting trail software into a ROM. In fact I think this actually benifits the companies as a whole. If you like and use the software as much and deem is necessary to have then you purchase it.
I'm not sure how you would make the Network Configuration come up on first boot. I notice that when I did install it did not bring me to the normal installation packages like installing a .tsk home screen and that nature. I did a reboot and then the network configuration came up without any issues.
I am also not sure what it's coming up as 1.60.00.00
What OS build are you using?

I wouldn't understand why it would still show 1.60.00.00
I know that with Build 5.2.19716 The Rom is trully a 1.60.00.00
I don't know why yours would be showing this. I know that Sleuth255 changes his to a custom number like his name and then the number. I would perhaps ask him how this could be accomplished....sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hi! I installed your rom but decised I liked Duttys better (no pun intended) but I can't seem to get rid of the enitial silver screen with the rom version info. How do I go about removing this?

Diamond2 Rotating... like an LG Arena?

Having recently purchased an HTC Diamond2 and having tried "ChangeScreen", GSen", I've noticed my D2 isn't capable of rotating TouchFlo's 'Opening Screens' (like, "Programs" or "Contacts") and I haven't - even - been able to rotate my "Album" pictures.
As I've seen on LG Aren's (no publicity intended!) all icons rotates (beautifully, I thought) whenever the phone itself was rotated.
Is there a way to get it done in this version of TouchFlo?

To have TF3D rotating correct, you need another ROM.
Check out the cooked ROM's for Topaz. There are first ROM's out that support TF3D rotating and applications rotating.

You don't need another rom, it's a simply registry tweak which has already been posted on this forum. Use the search function!

The tweaks were not working on my TD2, that's why I proposed a new ROM. Seems depending on TF3D version the registry tweak is working or not.

Review: Another excellent Ham3r ROM
This is a very nice ROM. Windows Mobile 6.1. It has no home screen programs, and very few apps. It has the Microsoft Office apps, Quickmenu, and an unusual collection of tools. Lots of free space, lots of RAM, good speed.
Questions I did not answer are:
What kind of files will AlReader read?
What is "Glossy Black Bars"?
Does WM5NewMenu offer any features not found in QuickMenu?
I noticed TCPMP but did not try it. Are all of the CODECs present?
The only problem I have is that Outlook won't sync to my work's Exchange server. However, they have been messing with the security settings there this week, so that might not be a ROM issue.
I have tried this ROM with Manila 2D (V1 and V2), SPB Mobile Shell 3, and HTC Home. All perform well, although Manila2D V2 needed some more apps, as usual.
One program had Polish (not English) help files.. I wish I could remember which.
The ROM does not have any touch-friendly scrolling. Of course it does not have the WM6.5 touch features, and it also lacks the TouchFlo touch features which work well on the "Final Angel" ROM.
I will not continue to use this ROM: I like the "Neat" flavor of Final Angel best of all ROMs I have tried. Nevertheless, I would encourage the cook to put out more Wizard ROMs. This one and the recent Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM are both very good, even though labeled as ALPHA. I can't wait to see what he would call a release version.

I dont know..FLV and DIVIX works good..This version of TCPMP is with subtitle support. TXT, without conversion!

ROM constains M$ scrolling feature, but this is disabled by me. For turn ON this, run total commander, tap 2x on adress bar and select "gestures". Change "disabled" value to 0 & after few seconds make soft reset.

Thanks.. i working with BASE ROM for wizard.. but my wizard have a dead battery (on wifi, turns off after 2 minutes). and i dont have time for rommaking...ehh.

I cannot find the program that had the Polish. Maybe it was an error message.

I have not been able to get this ROM to synchronize with an Exchange Server. The Ham3r WM6.5 ROM works, but this one does not.
For me, Exchange is very important.
If it is not important to you, this is still a very good ROM.

A nice ROM, I like very much the ROMs with huge free RAM. I remember for Nothin's ROMs, I used them for a long time.
I tried this ROM, it is fast, stable. My only problem was, that the Large_Start_Menu.cab does not run it, or at least for me did not run.
Could you check that?

Message about CleanRAM to all the cookers

I have noticed something a long time ago, and I thought that people would see it too but it doesn't seem so...
Since the first WM 6.5 ROM I flashed (it was Blackstone) I could see that cleanRAM wasn't compatible. Indeed, when I'd use it, on level 1 and 2 it wouldn't free any RAM (or 1MB maximum) and on level 3 it would close Manila and then tell you that it freed 12MB but it didn't because when Manila restarts, it's the same as before you launched cleanRAM. Now on Leo, it's pretty much the same except that on level 3, it doesn't close Manila, but save 3-4MB which is nothing compared to how efficient it was on WM 6.1.
There are two possibilities. Either cleanRAM isn't compatible with 6.5 so it doesn't do its job properly, either it's compatible but 6.5 memory management is so much better that it's not needed anymore.
So, in my opinion, cleanRAM became useless (in WM6.5 ROMs) and cooker should stop cooking it in. But I want to know, am I the only one who noticed that? Maybe I'm wrong but I'm very curious to have your opinion about it...

My phone is on WM 6.5 and not on any cooked ROM.
Been using cleanRAM from v1.9x to current v2.00. Never had a problem performing a clean with level 1 & 2. Have not try level 3/4 as I don't see a need yet.

I seem recovery of 2 Mb, 4 Mb and once 11 Mb using level 2 cleaning. Before executing cleanRAM, I first close the non-active processes via Task Manager. Maybe it is not the right way but it has worked for me.
Anyhow, cleanRAM v2.1 is out now. Maybe it improves your usability experience with the cooked ROM you have.

I always use CleanRam.
Some of the previous versions you had to use the "exceptions" for
manila.exe. Than it was fine.
With the new version it is not necessary.
I use it on level 3 and am quite pleased with its' performance.

there u can choose Manila 6.5 GUI, HTC Sense, TouchFLO 2D & 3D,
SPB Shell and Today Items so you can Free Up Ram according to your system.
If yes then not sure what is wrong but work perfectly for me!

No you have in the CleanRam Configuration. You just press setting and
then you will get all possible opions to change it like you want!
