I can not open any documents from pocket Pc with extension .pwi or .pws with the personal computer with office 2003, please helpme
Hi
You have to transfer those files via active sync, because they have to be converted to normal excel or word files.
Pocket office and windows office aren't totally compatible!

Hi boys, is there an application to see the share folders of my private lan with wifi?
I would open documents or mp3 share from my computers.
In PocketPC there is the possibility to share, why in Smartphone no? I can "fix" it?
Many thanks!
dapa
Yes the pocket pc has it all!
In the smartphone world you can use the ftp client in the resco explorer or total commander and download files from your PC (over wlan) but you cannot open them before you download first them to your device.
On the pc you must install first a programm like GuildFTP an to configure everthing properly.
That's the only way I've found to share files over wifi

If you have Windows Vista on the computer, you can control powerpoint via BT using SideShow (http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=fe99f5dc-e62d-46e0-a294-1ec3aa4960c4&bt=8&pl=7).
I am using a XP Pro so Office PowerPoint Remote cannot be installed. Any similar appli for XP?
Hi
I would like to share a folder on my PPC (HTC Touch).
I have my PPC and laptop connected to my router.
I'm able to 'ping' to the PPC.
But: How do I share a folder on my PPC?
Or How do I connect to a folder shared on my laptop?
I tried every program of my PPC but I can't find it.
With Pocket Lan (http://www.z2software.com/) you can connect from your PPC to a share on your laptop. To my knowledge the reverse is not possible.
Try Mocha FTP Server on your PPC
Connect to your lan, start Mocha FTP and on your PC open ftp://ip_of_ppc.
is there a papaya cab file that i can use on my pocket pc? because the one i got from wap.papaya.com didn't work.
I was wondering is there any difference between DocumentsToGo and OfficeSuite in terms of their compatibility with MS Office documents? I have some spreadsheets in Excel 2007 version and I would like to edit them on my tablet and then later transfer them back to the pc. The have some simple formulas in them such as summation.
