Guys i need your help..after trying to crack my bootloader everything set down..my phone is dead..i cant get on flash mode..what should i do???actually it's gonw dead after hitting my mistake the msm7227_semc.cmd file..
If your phone completely dose not boot then you've probably bricked it and your motherboard will be destroyed. If it can get onto recovery mode you can try doing a factory reset. If your X8 is rooted you've in-validated your warranty but you might be able to get the nice folks at Sony to repair your handset at a cost.

yes my phone is rooted and i cant get into recovery mode...how much will it cost me???
A weird thing happened, my Galaxy Ace got Hard-Bricked after flashing a rom (i was too lazy to read instructions, as flashing roms is what i do 5 times a day!), and it couldn't go into backup/recovery/download mode. It just happened once, my PC recognized it and Odin detected it, but odin froze, so i unplugged it and repluged it, and that's when it never went in recovery mode again...
I need urgent help asap, as my warranty is already voided.
Cheers,
John Freeman
Well look here for help if it is a soft-brick:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970
If it is a hard brick then you need to use a JTAG service:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1429491
Good luck.
if it is still under warranty take it to the service center and tell the you are doing an OTA and your connection was distrupted. thats what I told at the service center
It should nearly always be possible to enter the bootloader of the device. So if it comes hard you can use "power button, vol down" to enter it and flash a system image directly with the fastboot tool.
Thanks a Bunch!
Thanks a bunch, guys! I sent it to a friend (she knows more about JTAG services than i do) who helped me out.
I followed instructions this time...
Thanks a lot,

Hi xda,
So I had a soft bricked Micromax Canvas a290 which boot looped and couldnt access recovery. I flashed it with a stock ROM. Now the phone is hard bricked, and I'm thinking probably because the rom I downloaded had issues. I looked up another stock rom from xdafirmware, and am trying to follow a tutorial on youtube on flashing a hard bricked device.
The issue I have here is this:
The tutorial says the phone is supposed to connect and disconnect every 7-8 seconds (evident by the sound windows makes when usb device is connected and disconnected).
The thing is, when I connect my device windows makes the connected sound, but the device doesnt disonnect. SP flash tool cant flash my phone. I have tried any and every button combination, but they dont seem to help.
I am an tech enthusiast myself, and I have flashed a lot of mtk soft bricked devices before, but I am totally stumped here.
Can anyone help?? Any ideas whats happening? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings and welcome to assist. I can find very little information for your device apart from this thread which may help, can you connect to the device just using fastboot ?
