Sorry to ask the question which seems to get asked the most again,
but where can I get a V1.11 Rom for my TMobile MDA?
I can't get into the iMate or Qtek sites as I'm on TMobile, and TMobile are a bit on the slow side getting any updates out
I have searched all over the site and FTP but can't find a one anywhere
the QTek IMEI's listed in some of threads seem to be locked out so no joy their either.
I've read and printed out the Upgrade Guide and I can't find xda3nbftool.exe either?
can any one help please?
found the xda3nbftool.exe but no english 1.11 ROM yet
Anyone any ideas?

I have a locked tmobile mda... I forget what I need to do b4 I can flash a new rom... I think all I have to do is CID unlock it right? But I forget how. Any help would be great

Yes the fastest one way to figure this out again is to read the stickies labeled unlocking and UPGRADING. That is usually pretty helpful.

hi ive tryd to up to wm6 but no luck ive read all the info on how to doit downloaded loads of software still no good ive managed to put wizard love rom on it for now but cant get round the cid unlocking then how to up aput wm6 on
ive tryd it but dont want to kill the phone could some one make an ruu of wm6 then upload it or dont it work that way
any help would be great please and thank you

Which is your device, a G3 or G4,how come we can tell,untill and unless you do not post the vital data of your phone,no one can suggest you any help without knowing the version of your phone.always post the data.

which DOC chip version you got,a G3 or G4 ? to verify post your IPL/SPL...? or download the WST Tool,install and run it and post the report to determine if it's a G3 or G4 device.You can download the WST tool here :-

If it's a G3,it's required to first CID unlock the device and than upgrade to wm6.

Do yourself a big big favour and read the WIKI HERE. There isn't much you can ask that's not covered here. It tells you how to do most things And welcome to the forum

For beginning, download the new Tomal v8.2 ROM and simply run the application. It has its own manual. You have to only synchronize your ppc with your desk computer before running that application.
For other upgrading things use "universal RUU" from the ftp site. There are many readme files for doing that too.
Best radio version is 1.15
Extended ROM must be configurable for yourself so study more before changing that.
Until now I have seen that Tomal's work is the best...

I am using O2 xda exec and i want to update it from wm5 to wm6.1 , but i am totally confused as i am new to this device . i have read most of the topics on this forum and also the wiki but half of the links dont work now . i have no idea how to update but i really want to update it and am also scared what if i brick it .. please can you guys help me out here.. the configuration is given below.. other than that i live in asia so can i use Tomal v8.5?? would it support my network?? im using the same Tomal's V8.9 and Shadow_Nexus's 21056 alternatively.but im facing an annoying problem.im facing an unexpected sudden turn off.the only way is to get my unversal booting is to connect it to my comp via usb and then start it.
