Unusual Behavior XDAII/SPVM1000 - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Windows Mobile 2005 Upgrading

Hi there, could somebody knew if what was happening with my xda...
before, my problem was the audio output, but from out of the blue it was corrected then lately until now, the problem with my phone was it do have audio (ringtones and music) but I cannot hear the voice from the other line and the other line could not hear me also.
I have done hard reset but the problem was still there. Then, I have browsed my mobile, all the file was displayed in reverse manner. From Z to A, file-folder.
Could it be possibly infected by a virus? I have upgraded my xda from wm2003se to wm5.

XDA IIs unstable and untrust worthy. Please help

Hi all,
Would appreciate help and comments on the following issues I have with my new XDA IIs. Have always been a Palm user but some issues that I face looks more than just software issues.
1. Reception - When my phone comes out from an area without phone reception, it does not get back connection until someone calls or sms. So no outgoing calls possible until someone calls me or sms me. It's a major pain in the neck.
2. Bluetooth - does not work with my Motorolla headset which worked brlilliantly with Nokia and Sony Ericsson. I can hear the other party but they hear everything else loud except my voice soft.
3. Hangs a lot or rather, sluggish at times
4. Does not cut off calls even when end call button on the handsfree set is pressed.
Can anyone help???
In my opinion why don't you Upgrade your ROM, there's lots of articles in this forum how to upgrade your handset.. "Search" Follow the instructions and I assume your device will work properly once for all
Get the latest v1.31 ROM update from O2 service center
As far as the hangs go, I would clean out every unnecessary thing that's in the \Windows\Startup folder. This is stuff that is automatically started up on a soft reset. Stuff like the "aPerSave..." file links for example should be moved somewhere else for safe keeping. I have a PDA2K, so I don't know if you have the same files as I do, but I imagine they are pretty siilar. The Pocket PC OS is limited to 32 running processes and out of the box the PDA2K is running close to that number already. I imagine the IIs is configured similarly. Starting more than 32 processes can cause others to shut down prematurely, causing hangs. So, getting rid of the unnecessary processes leaves more free for apps later on as you are using the device.
I had many unexplained hangups on my PDA2K until I cleaned out that Startup folder. Once I did that, the hangs vanished.
Answer to Question 4:
Unfortunately the button is not supposed to hang up. (I think it puts it in Mute mode?)

Phone problem, transmitting

Hi anyone and all,
My XDA II all of a sudden developed a problem in that although I can dial and hear people I had called, they can not hear me. I have toggled the mute button, performed a soft and hard reset and even installed the latest upgrade in an effort to resolve, but no joy.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix my beloved XDAII?
have you tried
1. to use normal record to check if the mic is working?
2. cleaned the mic
phone can only hear callers
Yes, i have tired the record function, that works fine, sorry should have mentioned that earlier, i wonder if it is a component transmitter problem!

D810 + Motorola S705 bad handsfree quality.

Hello guys!!
Currently I'm using a WM6 D810 with Jetware installed so that the S705 can display the contact name instead of just the number.
I often see register setting which we can change to improve the A2DP, I have no issues with the A2DP. However, my handsfree seems to be quite bad. On my end, everything seems clear. However the person on the other side always complain that he can't heard me properly. I tried calling myself and it's true, my voice tends to break, only part of what I say can be heard.
I tried disabling the Jetware functions however the problem seems to be still there. I checked my registery, seems that the BT is using some of the Jetware's dll not sure if that's the cause of the problem. However the problem comes and goes, it's not everytime that the other side have problems hearing me. Strange....any guys have a similar experience and managed to solve the problem?? Thanks in advance for reading!!
hi,
have the same prob with hermes and s705 you already have an satifatory answer?

Very strange audio problems

I'm having a very strange audio problem with my Qtek 8310. I had a phone conversation a few hours ago which went fine. However, someone rang me up an hour ago, the ringtone went on as usual, but I couldn't hear anything from the speakers. I received a text message after that where the notification tone played as usual aswell. I then tried playing some audio/video files which had no sound either.
The people on the other end can't hear me either
Strangely enough, if I go under Settings:Sounds I can hear everything.
When I reboot the phone, there's a sweekish sound when the bootscreen comes up.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Im using "Windows Mobile 6 for Tornado Perfect English Edition V6", by the way
Thanks in advance
Hey, I have had this happen several times to me. Did you end up finding a solution?
I'm not sure if this is a WM6 specific issue, as I've switched from using the Qtek 8310 over to the HTC TyTN II, which, strangely enough, has the same problems at times. The only temporarily solution is to restart the phone and ring up the person who called you in the first place
Hey, I fixed my issue today.
The symptoms I had that I couldnt hear or speak to people when they rang, nor did system sounds work like dialing tones etc. I could only talk through a headset. But sound came out of the main speaker if i went into the control panel then to sounds and played the ringtones.
What I found is there is a little switch inside the plug for the headset, it must have become jammed. To fix it I straightened a paper clip and swirled it round the inside of the plughole (all sorts of furry things fell out!), then it started working. It has been good as gold so far. Give it a go and let me know if it works for you or not.
