CPU Usage - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro ROM Development

Hello,
i don´t know if anyone noticed, but i have checked the CPU Usage right after boottime. When connected to an external Powersupply the CPU usage is nearly 0% (0-2), after disconnecting the usage is about 4-10%! My question is: does anybody know why? Normaly it is no Problem, but when viewing to video in higher resolution (over 430*260) i have many framedrops, when connecting to external power there are no framedrops!
Greets,
Thomas

This is probably dont to the fact that the universal under-clocks itself when running on battery power and then runs at its full 520Mhz when plugged in.
There should be things written on this on the forum somewhere....
Hope this helps...

...
Helped much, thank you, i´ve installed XPUScalar and everything is fine...

WM6 use 100% CPU time?

I upgrade to WM6 for my S200
the application (Pocket Mechanic) shows that WM6 use 100% CPU time.
btw:API function GetIdleTime: Cardinal; external 'CoreDll'; is used detect CPU loaded, the result is the same 100% CPU usage
so the battery life becomes such short.
Is there any way to fix this problem?

Some Questions about MileStone & Eclair

I recently bought a secondhand MileStone, and I need some helps:
- it displays ver2.1, but how to know it's rooted? there's Superuser Whitelist in my program list, mean it's rooted?
- how to connect MS to laptop like do it via USB cable?
- when I use Wireless Tether to broadcast Wifi via 3G, this program shows my phone's temperature is about 43, this is normal? Is it harmed if I use this solution for the long time?
thank you very much
please help me
thank
anyone know?
That is a normal temperature, think that two reception/emitter modules are activated, the 3G and the Wi-Fi, that´s a lot of energy consuption and heat generated.
Sorry for the bad english. Greetings from Venezuela

Tablet as a 2nd Monitor?

I know there is iDisplay, and I've seen some other threads from the auto-search feature, but I'm looking for a USB based method to use the TF101 as a 2nd monitor which would be very useful (because I like to type out my docs with the data right next to it but my laptop's monitor isn't big enough to have both out in a readable size). I haven't found any other answer other than "iDisplay" and some unanswered threads. Thanks in advance for any answers.
Theres Screenslider that. imo, works better than iDisplay. It doesnt support usb though, only over wifi.
And crazyremote is able to connect to the 2nd monitor on a PC, so you can simply set up a virtual 2nd monitor in windows and then just connect to that. Ive done that when I used a laptop as 2nd screen for my PC (edit: I actually tried for fun to set up all 3 laptops I have as monitor, in addition to my tablet, was awesome hehe )
But again, I dont think it supports USB...
There are quite a lot of alternatives through wifi, but hardly any through USB.
Darn.. It's just that wifi is slower than a USB connection usually, but thanks, I'll try screenslider for a bit.

Googlecast on 224.0.0.251 keeping device awake?

I have been having battery drain issues on wifi, the device doesnt sleep much. I noticed this issue about a month ago. I ran WireShark on my PC but its wired so its not the whole picture, but this did show up a tone, like every few seconds:
202 17.135208000 192.168.1.74 224.0.0.251 MDNS 82 Standard query 0x0000 PTR _googlecast._tcp.local, "QM" question
I am thinking this is related to screen casting, is anyone else seeing this issue? I cant see a way to disable screen casting either.
Thanks for any help
I have narrowed this issue down to either Plex, Teamviewer or Ace Stream on my PC, oddly. I quit those and the issue seems to have gone away.
Will test more to confirm and then narrow it down.
It was Team Viewer. Huh...this seems like a big deal as lot of people use it.

OTG Support - Minimum Battery Level?

Is there a minimum battery level for OTG support to work?
I have OTG support on my Mediatek Blackview BV6000 which works very well.
However, sometimes when I connect say a hard drive to my phone (via OTG) the hard drive doesn't start and the phone doesn't see it.
This seems to happen when the battery level drops below 70%, but I'm guessing.
This happened again recently so I went and charged my phone and the OTG support came back.
I'm wondering if this is due to some internal mechanism built into Android 7 or the phone where OTG support is stopped when the battery level drops below 70%. Has anyone ever heard of this?
If so, is there any way around it?
I recently learned to use a 'Terminal apk' to change the internal settings of my phone to allow my 'file manager' to see my hard drive when attached to the phone. It now works great. I was hoping that there would be a similar method to override this 70% limit for OTG support if that is in fact the problem.
Can anyone help?
