Is it possible to change WM3 to WM5?
If yes... maybe any one can tell me... where i can get WM5 rom and how to install it?

I have o2 atom exec. How do i find it is a G3 or G4 Device. I am trying to flash wm6 rom , htc rom etc since 2 months but i am not able to do anything in my phone. Somebody please help me i am bugged trying everthing someone please help me yaar. Is there any possiblility to upgrade my device to windows mobile.

There is no wm6 for atom yet..the best u can get is aku3.3 from jigg. Pls do not try to flash any other ROM to ur atom as it is not compatible

Thanks for replying. Actually i have downloaded the Rom that you have suggested and while i tried to install the rom it says "create c:\windows\temp.. fail" do you have any suggestions

I tried more of roms, and i want to goes back to my old O2 XDA NEO german rom (Version 215447 2154140 021921) but i cant update, it write that the nf file is to old, i tried noid rom (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe) to, but it stops at 95% with error, please help me to solve my big problem, i have to brings back my prophet to the service but so i cant do...

At the moument i have:
O2 XDA Neo G4
IPL: 2.15.0001
SPL: 2.20.0001
GSM: 2.19.21
OS Pdawiet 4.0.0.0.5a
the proplem at 95% cause of the SPL, as the Radio version did't update from 2.19 to 2.47, it is before the SPL, it is from the Radio or something before, may be the extension.
let me guss, try the step 1 of WM6, only os.nb and extension and tell me what will you get, after that try the NVID 2.20 it is the best ROM ever I tested
but it is stange that you have the same old os

Dear krobi227
U want to downgragde from Wm06 to Wm05, i think u only up (prophet pv temp) --> it's blank Rom so afterthat u can Upgragde another WM06 ROm again !

I want to update my S710 from its original ROM version 1.15.405.2 to the one i found on the site: RUU_Vox_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.1_4.1.13.54_03.10.90_Ship.
My radio version is 4.1.13.37_02.83.90. Can I use this update on my phone or not? Does the radio version's need to match?

You should have no problem using this ROM to update your S710 as I used that ROM for a short while when it first came out, I then moved oveer to Dr. Gonzo's New Guava ROM, and I am now using his WM6.1 ROM, been using it since his first test ROM came out and I am now using his latest WM6.1 v1.0a ROM.

Roland, simple question. What is the advantage of upgrading ROM's? Newer features? Faster software? Just curious I guess. I just got my 710 and wondering whats the buzz with all this rom and 6.1 stuff. Thanks!

To have the latest on your Vox offcourse.
Just like Rolandh I have updated my Vox with the WM6.1 rom from Doc. Gonzo.
And the new features and the increased stability are great.
Futher more I noticed the response of the software in some areas is better.
So all pro's and little con's.

The official HTC WM6 Update added a Network Setup Wizard and Office 6.1 to the ROM. Dr. Gonzo's WM6.1 adds Threaded SMS, New Internet Explorer Mobile with the ability to set your own Homepage, a better Home/Today Screen and some extra apps that Dr. G has added and is more responsive and a little bit more stable than WM6, and as Chongie says to have the lates version of WM on you Vox aswell.

Having only added Gregory's HTC plugin to this phone, if I wanted to add Dr. G's WM6.1, what is the proper way to do so? Is there some precautions I need to take first?

Hi,
There is not much precautions to take, apart from taking backup of your contacts, that is and making sure that there is battery backup to your PC, so that the update process is not interrupted. Because once you update the ROM, all your data will be erased. Its like formatting your hard disk drive. If your vox is network locked (mine was not) then you need to unlock the phone first. If you download Dr G's latest ROM, then you will find out how to do it (there is a step by step guide that comes with it).
Honestly, if you followed the guide, there is hardly any chance of screwing up. And once you start using the 6.1 ROM, you will surely wonder how the hell could you ever have used the original ROM that came with HTC Vox
Wow, appreciate the awesome explanation! Thanks! As far as locked or unlocked, I'm assuming its unlocked. Bought it off Ebay, stuck my sim card from t-mobile in it, turned it on and worked like a charm! Have heard the term "bricking" phone, which i'm assuming means locking it up, correct? Since I wasnt the original owner, are there certain "codes" or info off the phone i need to get first? You know, like some software info or phone specific info?

SIMPLE
Update using an extended rom use pda mobiz step 2 update rom
Second do a hard spl
Third install a new rom
Forth instal the 2.19 radio Rom is the most stable one so far.
