Hi! I would like to know if there's a way to modify the dictionaries installed with the HTC Phone Pad... I'd like to remove some wrong words from the italian dictionary... something possibilities?
I tried to search in the forum, but I havent found any information about this...

How can i manage that the asian character will show in the right way? Now i only can see strange combination.

It might not be the answer you need or the easiest, but this is my trick :
Change your Rom to an asian rom
If you still want english menus, I think there is a soft that have been developped to then change in english (or other languages). search Asukal posts.

i want to use an english Rom, so it's really not the easiest way
i have find out, that i need the unicode fonts. Google says that this font is 22MB big, so i need to put the font on my memory card. There is a program called "Font on Storage" but this program doesn't work with WM5 :-(
Is there some similar way or program?

I live in Sweden and would like to be able to text in swedish and have the spellcheck enabled for Swedish language! Would also be nice if I could use the special characters on the keyboard!
Can someone help me please, is there a file that I have to replace or what do I have to do?

I'm from Poland and some smart people here just found that all required files for T9 PL settings are already on Touch Pro.
They just change some available languages on T9 (registry settings) and it works like hell Afair their exchange Italian for Polish. There is CAB file and steb by step guide to change settings for Polish language but I belive it can be easly adopted for other languages.

Czech dictionary
I had the same problem, I discovered that you can add words by opening .txt file containing list of words in your HTC HD2, you can select part of them, and click in swype on the button with marked as "i", words will be added.
I attached hereinafter a file with around 24 000 czech words.

I'm very fond of the program "quick menu", and it works like a charm when on a non swedish rom, but when I use a swedish rom (any) all I see is gibberish in the text (chinese or something -lookalike).
Was wondering if anyone know a way to fix this as I'm very addicted to this software.

The language code can be found in the registry: HKLM/MUI. English is 0409, Dutch is 0413.
If you know your language, you can also look it up: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/win2k/setup/lcid.mspx
Copy QMenuCfg.dll.0409.mui to QMenuCfg.dll.0413.mui (or whatever your language code is) and do the same for QuickMenu.exe.0409.mui.
Close QuickMenu or reboot you PPC...
I screwed up.. change the MUI to english hoping that would do something, and now I don't remember what swedish was (didn't change anything though). And the link. How do I find the swedish MUI again, without hard reset? :/
::edit:: found it, and testing your way. But I don't think it has swedish support. All I see are squares and a few words spelt in english.
Where do i find QMenuCfg.dll.1053.mui??
Edit 2:::: fixed it by downgrading to 2.7 instead of 2.8

Yeah, I just found this info and did not test it as I use the default WWE.
