do a search on google for "duprades keyboard fix"... and also its on my server.. check the link plenty of cabs.. or try itje cab links he posted...
im having troubles going back to hardspl again, i install those 3 cabs but when i press update it says that herald is not connected

I just downloaded and was wondering why the TouchFlo interface keeps shutting down when I use a program in the background.
Just let ATT settings automaticlly register and installed my PIM, just soft resetted and will let you know if this continues....
Otherwise looks nice, running smooth

Soft reset seems to have fixed the problem, and hey!!! wheres your Opal keyboard Packge installing that now but thought you would have put it in. Only other program I think would be nice to add would be PIM to restore contacts, appointments, ect....

glad the soft reset fixed it. the reason i didnt include the keyboard was because it takes up too much space cooked in and for some reason has worse performance...

This is a full ROM with a lot of Available RAM. It is meant for those that want the basics as well as a few goodies, without being loaded down with needless personal items.
Animation exists, but is disabled & you will not find any splash screen bearing my name, Nor will you find any gawdy boot screen that scream "look at me, I was made by GSLEON3!". If you want flashy splash screen or wild animation you can add it & it can have your name or preference. I am not looking for name recognition & have always disliked having a device customized with the cooks name & idea of cool graphics instead of the owners.
Along those lines, most of the ringtones have been removed & this rom contains one basic, yet elegant, WM_waterfall ringtone. Again, ringtones are subjective & also can take up lots of needless space. I have also included only one theme file.
This rom & numerous programs & icons have been done in a Manilla wm7-ish blue. I plan on making it available with other colors as well.
More info & screen Pics to follow. I anticipate a Thursday Nov. 13th 1:00pm P.S.T. release of the final rom. Everything is ready, just need to make a few .hv changes I missed & it's a go.

i knew you had been making your own roms for sometime now. with all of the experimenting and poking around the internal workings of the kaiser during your unbricking/overclocking days i know your rom will be something spectacular.

I think his post was directed at people who say "oh nice rom" for the first few pages of a new rom, not at you for creating the rom. At least that's the way i read it.
I think i'm gonna give this rom a try. It might be my last kaiser rom flash as i'm getting my fuze on friday hopefully....actually who am i kidding, i'm not gonna get rid of my one with the broken keyboard. I'll be flashing kaiser roms till they stop making them probably. It will be the last one i flash on my everyday kaiser though

I just realized I did what I hate most in these "rom threads", and that is posting comments like: great, I am looking forward or downloading, flashing,... I hate it cause its cluttering the thread.
So gsleon3 u can delete my posts to clen the tread a little bit.

Pay attention people - this will be something special. GSLeon3 has serious forum cred and has debunked many exciting "improvements" that have turned out to be total bs and taken the time to research & educate us on apps/tweaks that have really made a difference, so his will ROM should be all wheat and no chaff.
GS- I respectfully echo the request for build info when convenient.

Hi guys, a quick intro of myself, been lurking around on xda developers for quite some time now (ever since my O2 xda, then hermes, and now kaiser), so i just wanna say thank you to this awesome community thats unknowingly helped me through three phones already! This community has been great and helped me a lot, so I'd like to give something back...SO! without further adieu...
I've tried many ROMs during my time here at xda, and man, they're all so nice! Custom boot screens, flashy skins, colorful icons, but none of them really suited my taste. I wanted something clean, professional, something I can take to work without looking like a kid (even though I still am one at heart!). The only one that didn't have customized icons that was still fast enough for me was the solacev2, so out came this ROM, based on mbarvian's SolaceV2.
Let me know how it runs, its my first ROM, so there's bound to be bugs and issues. I'll try to fix them as fast as I can!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST! I would like to thank the entire xda community, and especially mbarvian, who walked me through how to cook my first ROM!

If you want advice / need help, PM me or ParleyP. ParleyP started just like you did in making Phoenix. Phoenix V1 was a working version of one of MBV's Omnia Solace II builds.

all ready try it and use it now, Solace series was one of my favorites, after M2D TouchFlo issue and several fixes and last it's discontinued.
To had similar at least based Solace back was a great, and Yes You made it well Sir, it fast and stable (for a while, will keep exploring whether there's something), thanks Sir

Just found several things, on random access (contacts) does it necessary to shown upper bar triple letter, i guess random access is quite enough.
Second one, at Quick GPS, i hope it used brighter background, existing one was to dark, i can't see GPS data status, except expired word in red colored letter.

I too have problem with scrolling in contacts.. in file explorer its fine though.

Fast, clean but with all the apps I need!
The bug I found is on the settings tab in manilla.
When I press sounds it tries to load sounds but I get a little white box with nothing in it.
Maybe its only my Kaiser but I think it's worth to mention.

thanks panja, i got the same problem on my kaiser too. i'll look into it.
sounds like a missing dependency, either graphics or actual DLLs and such.

thank you all! decided to drop the 'beta' since beta was more like when i was goofing around with it. uploading right now is v1.1, links will be up momentarily.

-updated background in QuickGPS so you can actually see what it says
-fixed non-scrollingness and non-lining up random access

Sir, it will be better to have Your own ROM screenshots here, just suggestion, Your ROM has 3 column and different phone canvas (can I customized it? I mean change with other canvas like opal has).

haha thanks man, yaeh im working on the screenshots at the moment, but if anyone has time, if someone can screen shot for me, and i'll just put it back together, that would be awesome. if not, i'll just have to take my sweet time with it hahaha.
as for your second question erwinpiero, you should be able to just install your own skin over mine.

Hi Xda! I are long-time user GTX Theme, in my opinion is the best design of all invented. It pleases me very much because covers all my needs (the skin in the programs). But until recently did not have this theme for the CHT 2.0 (NRG Rom's does not count). So I decided to port it to the CHT 2.0. What came out of it, I post on your court - I personally like very much.

Features theme:
- The theme is designed for version HTC Sense 2016 + (personally tested on 2018 and 2021), on earlier versions of performance is not guaranteed
- The theme has a built in mod CHT 2, as the patented original theme for the CHT 1.8.5
- A theme already integrated GTX Harmonized (modifies some checkboxes, progress bars into one style) and Perfection Slider (adds some icons of tabs, which were not in the original theme)
- To the font color on the home screen HTC Sense became dark, you preferences in the CHT Editor'a specify the primary and secondary font color as 50,50,50 (Editor CHT -> Others -> text color)

Hi sdroid, thanks a lot! your gtx theme looks great, will be a pleasure to help what be in my hands. CHTtweaks could be useful to get out of midle flipclock line and also add 2 dots between hours & minutes. If it doesnt work i will try to help deeper with manilas. Also if you need help to adapt some widgets, i think GTX- SimClock would be very very nice.

great theme because i am a very big fan of GTX. For the version 1.8.5 we had worked very close with DarkNija. If you have questions and/or need help with the CHT core basics you can PM me. But be carefull with some new tweaks. A lot of user problems comes up. And this will be good for GTX , because it is the best theme ever. Possible we can work togehter on some special things, because we are also working on this with darks and orb's permission. If you need more icons possible i can help out with the old series (covert or make new once).

The great GTX theme was my preferred one during all last summer. Now that my HD2 is still alive and kicking, I think I might return to WinMo, of course not without CHT 2, thanks to your great work. Thanks a lot!
