I can recommend the 4.2 version of ArcSoft. They went back to splitting up SMS and MMS. Been using it for a couple of days now and I really like it.

Ok so i got it to install as an OEM package. Anyone wanna help with getting it to show the mms folder on the mail application. LOL. I may be good, but i aint that good. Or maybe someone can link me the provisioning xml's for 3.5 which might actually work here.

Ok i found the provisioning deal to try and make the folder under messaging. It didnt work. So, now im confused. Any help here?
I can't seem to install this Arcsoft 4.2 correctly. It just jumbles up my old Arcsoft MMS program. Is there any way to uninstall the old Arcsoft MMS program (version 4.0) before i install 4.2? Its not in the add/remove programs list for me to uninstall
Only way to do that is to cook your own rom and not include it
I installed it to a vanilla ROM and everything worked great from the start...
Although I had to install the cert cab first and then the actual ArcSoft cab.

At this time Im giving up. I cant seem to get anything to make the MMS folder show up. let me know if anyone gets the mxip_**.provxml file thing to work. There isnt one in the cab but oh well.
I've tried to build a rom with this with my own package I created, and tried working with Nottoosmart's (pretty much the same package I had) and while Text Messaging works just fine, I can't get MMS to show up as a folder or able to create, send, or receive MMS messages with this installed.
Anyone else?

Very interesting. These are exactly some of the problems that i'm experiencing with the 10.6.0026.1400 version of WLM. Instead, I find that version very unstable. The very old hacked beta of WLM also known as nonbeta-nodate.cab by Bol**** have worked the best,but not very clean like others. You say, there is build 1900, where do you get that?

in general WLM unstable, because of our processors, it needs high performance. so we have to accept that without any decline

um, "its right", i don't think there is such thing as a kitchen for Dell Axims unlike for the Wizard, hermes, Universal, ets... Just copying all of WLM files into system folder, wouldn't work. So, yeah, i guess the only way to install it is with a cab. Could you maybe make one?

Here is my dilema, I want to make a clean rom. To me a clean rom is one that has the apps I want without extra files, or extra reg keys. To do this I need actual cabs. Anyone know where i can get the actual cabs for such applications as ArcSoft 3.x or 4.x? Maybe even the latest intent MIDlet manager?

the problem with default.hv file, now it has many many many and many of apps registries , it is very difficult to looking for them and remove.
i have mms 4.x and the newest java but trying to delete the conflict registries in default.hv i can't

if there is anything missed on mms tell me, because i extracted it as quick as i can
java tested and worked (unless the registries, you have to apply them after flashing the rom, otherwise you can edit default.hv)
oh oh many wait for them, ok if you use them don't forget to write extracter name
NTS, there are no factory cabs for MMS, camera, etc. HTC jumbled the packages up so that the DRM registry settings are in the camera package and the streaming media registry settings are in the MMS package. Getting rid of extra reg. entries is a pain, but it's best done by analyzing the OEM packages and removing them. Also, installing these apps as cabs would eat up so much storage memory, it's really impractical to install them as such. Hence, the kitchen craze.

I Honestly admire your work and here is some info you requested. I took this MMS 4.0 out of trinity rom and without making any change I just copied these two folder in SYS folder during rom cooking using pandora ROM Kitchen. .....And results were superb......and now we got working MMS 4.0 in 5.2.318 and 5.2.1413.

See, you all use kitchens, but im old school. nothing like hardwork to make it right. So, I use my own tools. Thats why I want just the needed files. I have what I like to call the perfect rom, but MMS was the issue. Now with these Java and MMS will correct the issues I have been having. Thanks.

Cool. I like to try and keep all of the latest fixes and patches in one place and publically available. It's a pain in the arse to do, but I'd like to think it's helping the big picture...
Ok, the only issue i have with 4.x version of mms is that it replaces the Text Messages box and merges sms and mms into one folder. then you have to select new and select either sms or mms. Any way to fix this? Also, when you choose the option to try and setup the mms server it does not come up unless you are in a blank mms. hmm, more fun configs to figure out.

I have the same problem. It seems we are all using an account call hadle and i think if is used to mach they block it. It would be easy to fix it if you could use your own account or use another one that still works example :

Unfortunately it seems as this address is hardcoded and can not be change either from the menu or the registry itself.

There is another way. I use Home Screen Customizer. The developer of this simple app has posted his work on here but the app itself is available free through Marketplace.
Basically you can remove items from your Titanium list using the app but it also allows you to add some items too. One of them is Weather, another is a handy apps bar.
Works great for me on 6.5.

hey jowi i hope you read this. i only just figured this one out.
1. open file explorer and find 'c:\program files\titaniumweather\titaniumweather.mscr'
2. open with a programme such as notepad.exe
3. FIND this line "link=ReadFile("h ttp://hadle.accu-weather.com/widget/hadle/weather..."
4. REPLACE 'hadle' with 'rdona' in 2 places. the line should then read "h ttp://rdona.accu-weather.com/widget/rdona/weather..."
5. SAVE.
6. Update from TitaniumWeather settings.
this fix basically changes to another registered username with accu-weather. perhaps hadle's account got closed.

So finally tried it. This is pretty sick (in a geeky sort of way). Funniest thing I've had happen yet: forgot to properly shut down Windows. Next time I launched I saw the old school scandisk window verifying my files. I laughed, I shed a tear of joy, my coworkers think I'm crazy now.

I had created a custom Cyanogenmod Rom for Cricket based on Cynaogenmod 6.1 RC1. It includes full support for Cricket Android Plan but will also work with lower plans as long as properer proxy is installed. The link is fine I have no problem downloading it. File is fine if you getting error installing it is because you had never used cyanogenmod. First time I tried to install cyanogenmod i assumed there was problem with files but is version of hboot. So please follow howto.

You need to use install included apns file using apnbackuprestore the wipe devik and cache and reboot and mms will work . Mms.ap for criket is included in rom.
