"The file "tnsms" (and tnmms) cannot be opened." -UK Vodafone WM6.1-
I changed my right soft key to "New SMS" but when i click it i get this error message:
"The file "tnsms" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
I used this application to change the soft keys.
Any help appreciated.
edit to add that i used this app before with no problems. I just flashed to the official UK Vodafone WM6.1 - 3.08.161.0, Radio - 1.64.08.21.
"the application SendOrder (com.SendOrder.android)has stoped unexpectedly. please try again"
up up up up up
Hello, i'm trying to unbrick my device
I downloaded BOOTV21E_AP and _CP
Downloaded lg flashtool 1.2 (i have win7 x64)
I've changed the LGE CDMA USB Serial port to COM41
I go to lgflashtool, place p920dll, and only the bootv21e_ap
i get it ready, and enter s/w mode, tried with umap4boot and without umap4boot]
process starts, says start ebl writing, stays for 90 seconds
then says start ebl error something like that
in the xml logo it gives me a IMEINOTACTIVE error
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
-<REFLASH> -<UNIT> <ESN>IMEINOTACTIVE</ESN> <TIMESTAMP>20130215134340</TIMESTAMP> <RESULT>FAIL</RESULT> <SOFTWARE_NAME>LG FlashTool</SOFTWARE_NAME> <SOFTWARE_VER>1.2</SOFTWARE_VER> <OEM_NAME>LG</OEM_NAME> </UNIT> </REFLASH>
So, i tried with smart flashtool, go to rom copy d/l, place the _ap and the _cp,
it starts and pass the ebl error, but gives me a timeout when making something with partitions, tried to put only _ap and only _cp
strange thing is that i didn't used the umap4boot, so it never gets out of s/w mode, but it gave me timeout error.
PS: is s/w mode download mode?
please help me:crying:
AW: [Q] P920 ebl error
Yes sw mode is downloadmode, try to flash a bin file. For example xbsas ported rom. Or try flashing kdz file tbis works for sure

Bit confused how to unlock the bootloader on my moto G..
I am following this guide: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b
But I'm stuck on the part "
On your desktop, open a command prompt or terminal, and go to the directory where you installed the Android SDK tools (or make sure fastboot is in your $PATH)
I'm currently installing the following in the screenshot I've taken, but I don't know where the SDK tools are installing to? there is no folder in program files etc...
Many thanks in advance..

Rightclick on this computer and choose properties, then select advanced settings then surroundings variabels, then in system variables choose path (starts with C and choose modifty and add \android-sdk\platform-tools ( this is where the sdk is located on my pc) at the end of the string.
Also copy AdbWinUsbApi.dll and AdbWinApi.dll (both are in the platform-tools folder) to the windows\system32\ folder.
ps: you only need the top 2 items from the android sdk manager and the Google Drivers.
Thanks but I don't quite understand? I'm on Windows 8.1..
Also AdbWinUsbApi.dll is not even located on my PC ? :-/

Both dll`s are in the \android-sdk\platform-tools\ folder, copy them to C:\windows\system32\.

That folder isn't anywhere on my PC though that's the problem?!
never mind I've done it, I've pasted the key into the motorola site "3A45890085034220#5441383833304358553100585431303332000000#64ED856A41ADE4D962B9AF1039E9690B98543710#6B94ED010F0000000000000000000000"
And clicked "can my device be unlocked?" and it doesn't do anything, then I request unlock key at the bottom of the page and it just goes to a white blank page? :/
Done it finally! phew lol

As the tittle says, now i'm gonna show you the real way to recover your lg intuition from bricked and at the same time, upgrade it to android 4.1 jelly bean, if you haven't. There are various tutorials about this, in various forums, but any of them work or do something relevant.
Just follow my instructions step by step and you'll get your intuition unbricked and/or upgraded. Well, LET'S START! :fingers-crossed:
1-Download the firmware (.cab file) from here:http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW706685432109876543213/VS95022B_10.S22B_10.P58019.R5.cab
2-Download this both tools: https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=XZje57ZOU5Fm68zqW7g8i2nEdqOFjtMcuuk
3-Unzip the archive with the tools inside in a folder, move the firmware already downloaded in this same folder.
4-Download lg drivers from here: http://faq.scs.lge.com/common/FileDownload.do?fileId=BD-1374141705928
5- In the folder created, open the folder named "FlashTool.1.0.54", execute the "Windows Enable.exe" program with administrato rigths.Then execute "UpTestEX.exe"

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In the 1 you're gonna search for the folder you previously created, just select the folder, don' open it. In the 2 select the .cab firmware downloaded for converting in a .kdz file. Select it and press" Encrypt cab -> kdz" then i will start to convert it and the .kdz file will appear in the folder you selected in work directory.
6-When that is done, get your intuition on "Download Mode",hold Volume up and down at the same time, the connect it to your pc and will promt "Download mode". Go to the folder and open "LG Flash Tool 2014" in this folder execute "LGFlashTool2014.exe" in PhoneMode choose CS_EMERGENCY.Then, look for the .kdz file created and select it.
7-Click on"CSE flash" when a new window is promtep just click on "START" windows will ask you to confirm, just hit Yes. In the next window just change the language for english.
8- The program will start analyzing your phone, extracting the firmware and finally installing it.
If you have followed all the steps, you will safe your phone! Enjoy it :highfive:

No, there is. I don't think this phone has a recovery partition.
