Contact Today Plugin to Open "Inesoft Address Book" - Palm Treo 750

Hi,
Is there any way to make that when I click the name of person (not the number, the name) in the today contact plugin search it will open it in "Inesoft Address Book" instead of opening it in regular contacts?
That would make the today contact plugin even more perfect for me
Thanks

Need Help With WLMessenger

Hello everyone, i have a issue with my windows live messenger, i have wm6 standard, basically every time i try to sign in on messenger, as message appears and says
"Signing in to Messenger will add your Windows Live Contacts to your phone's address book. Do you wish to continue?"
If i continue it ends up copying all my contacts in my address book and i don't want that to happen. Is there any way to bypass/get rid of this option and sign into messenger without having to copy all my contacts in my address book?? i have checked the settings, and did not see any options. I prefer and want to use messenger and not any other client. Please help, its annoying. thanks

You should have clicked No. in the prompt when WLM asked whether you wanted to copy the contacts or not. But now I believe its too late. Unless ofcourse you want to go for clear storage .

Default email account/SPB Mobile Shell?

So in the SPB Mobile Shell there is an icon at the top for email. When I click on it, it opens "Outlook Email" for some reason. I then have to hit the D Pad over to "Hotmail."
How can I make it automatically open to Hotmail? I don't even use Outlook email (don't even use Outlook at all on the pc). I have Windows Live installed, which puts a Hotmail account in Pocket Outlook, and that is the only email account I have on my phone. The "Outlook Email" that it is opening up to is empty.
This is on an AT&T Tilt running NATF AT&T loaded 5 final ROM.
HTC Home appears to open the Hotmail when I hit the email icon, so it appears this is just an issue in SPB Mobile Shell...
i wanna know the same thing, but for spbmobile 3
Yes, here same thing... searched entire PDA... is this possible?
yes...i'm having the same problem in v3. TouchFlo seemed to default to the email box properly but spb doesn't...anyone figure this out?
Same problem here,
Is there a possible edit so it opens the right default email client?I use hotmail too.
*bump
I'm having the same problem, has anyone found a solution to this yet?
Try removing the email widget and then create a new one. It asks you what account you want it to monitor. If you are using the widget that shows email, sms and missed calls together, you will need to replace this with the 3 individual widgets.

I'm not sure if this has been solved or not but I was having same problem on 3.5.5 when trying to view my gmail. Playing around I find the widget itself has a setting to "Open messaging client" or "Open 3D viewer" I chose the 3d viewer and Viola.
How I got to this was basically getting into the widget settings, usually by just holding down on the widget icon and choosing "Default Action"
I hope this helps some people. Not sure how this would work with earlier versions though. I assume it would be the same. SPB Shell is still very much the same in a lot of ways.
Next question is how to manually tell SPB to receive emails from the server.

Filter settings for Contacts in address book in WM 6.1

Hi all,
I am using outlook to synchronize my contacts with my address book in my HTC Touch Diamond 2 (Topaz).
What I am wondering is that when I tell the address book in my phone to filter my contacts it does not keep that settings. When I close the address book and reopen it, the filter settings are gone.
With the "filter" settings I mean the categories I can select in the options of my address book. The categories itself I gave each contact in my address book in outlook on my PC.
Is there a way to tell the phone to keep that filter settings?
greez,
atoem

Deactivate the eMail functionality

Hello,
is it possible to deactivate or to delete the eMail account?
Because I use only the SMS and I don't need the eMails.
I'm using WM 6.1 on a HTC Prophet
Thanks for response.
If you didn't make an email account, it shouldn't be there.
What exactly is your problem?
I didn't create an eMail account, but I still have an account entry called: "Outlook E-Mail" which has no specific eMail server and address datas. I'm not able to delete this account.
I have the SMS entry and the Outlook E-Mail entry.
I use SPB Diary where you can click on the menu item: "New Message"
Sometimes the new SMS window opens, sometimes the new E-Mail window opens.
If it's not clear, i can take a photo to show this to you.

[Q] E-Mail Address Book?

When I have typed an e-mail and go to fill in the "To:" field I cannot see anyway to access an address book and I certainly can't remember them all to manually type in, I am using Gmail and pop3 and neither seem to have an address book.
I just start typing the name and a list appears. If you have no idea what their names are then you will have to start on in contacts, press the address you want and a new email will pop up. This assumes you have contacts in your Google account.
Things will be wonky unless you have an account providing "Address Book" services for lack of a nicer term.
Google Mail/Contacts is idea but it should also work with Exchange and Facebook where such information is available.
