I was just wondering if there would be a way to transfer all of my text messages from my treo 650 to my 750... I have a lot of text messages that I'd hate to lose.

thanks hanmin but isn't PIM backup for ppc? All of my text messages are already backup up with hotsync so can that app transfer them from there?

With PIM BAckup 2.5, I've stored 800 sms and appointments from HTC Trinity...is possible to restore on Palm Treo 750V?is there an incompatibility?
Check the OS version........... if the version is the same (WM5 or 6 in both devices) the migration works.

I don't think sms will migrate to Treo without pain... Calendar/contacts should be without problems
yes Im looking for a program that you can us that will trun your sms messages into like a regular chat with some one. I have seen it on the treo 750. But Im wondering y no one has it for any other kind of ppc.. thanks a lot..
there is. program called Contact Manager.
WM 6.1 also has this feature

I want to reset my Treo 750 WM 6Pro, using the Sprite 6.5, and I just want to keep the phone call logs, the speed dial, and the text messages... I've no problem backing up the logs and the speed dial, but is been imposible for me to found out witch one is the file I need to mark to keep all my text mesagges...
Can anybody help me with this one?

The Messaging database for the palm messaging is under the windows directory PalmMsgV001
hihi, this is my first post here. this forum had been wonderfully alot of help for my Touch Diamond. Now is a problem which i cant seems to solve.
Is there a way to back up Treo 750v Threaded SMS and restore back to New The Treo Pro 100%? I been cracking my head over this any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

In Treo 750 messaging file is /Windows/PalmMsg?? I dont know now.

So, I want to transfer my old palm threaded sms text to the windows 6.1 threaded sms software but I am not sure why it is not working. My old device had wm 6.1 with the palm threaded sms installed and all my text are in the palm threaded sms one. So I then back up my files using spb backup and I am pretty sure the text is backed up. My new device has wm6.1, but with the windows threaded sms software. So anyway I can get the old texts on to the new device? Thank you.
wow thats a new one on me, why did you have palm threaded text running on wm6.1 and not use the windows threaded text, unless the rom was cooked i guess? Not sure thats possible my friend, i will think about that one..
