I do set my HTC S710 to auto power off/on the WIFI when the device goes in standby. This works fine except that it does an ugly beep everytime.
Any idea how to get rid of this ?

Is there any software that will allow me to toggle vibration on/off for ringtones and notifications (preferably from the system tray)?
I want to keep the sounds switched on, but just turn the vibration off as when my I-Mate JAM is on a table, all you can hear is the vibration rather than the notification and ringtone sounds I've setup. Then when I put it in my pocket to go out, I want an easy way to turn on vibration again.
Is there anything out there?
I've tried some profile switching stuff, but they don't seem to work with my JAM as it tends to turn off vibrate mode for calls completely (for some reason).

I have an HTC Titan running WM 6.1 (with nueExtROM), but had this problem with Sprint ROM as well.
I use the HTC Home Plugin with the Normal sound profile. However, when my phone is idle for a long time it will switch to vibration mode automatically. This is really annoying because I'll miss calls when the phone's on the charger in another room. If I switch back to the sound profile tab, Normal is still selected. How do I prevent my phone from going into vibration mode automatically?
Also, what does the Automatic sound profile do?

I need your help. Im using a Asus p750 running wm 6.1. It seems that the phone dosent care to what profile im using. If i have phone on "silent" without ring signal or vibra still the phone rings at a incoming call. Same on all profiles i use. Always a ring signal!!! Total newbie so hoping for a easy fix. Maybe you expers have any ideas?
I have tryed to use SPB phone suite, same problems with thoose profiles. Phone dosent seem to care what profile i shoose to use.

Are you sure you are turning down the ring volume and not just the system.

I set profile by Settings - Profile - Silent/Meeting etc. If i shoose Silent (Volume:Off Vibrate:Off) and i go back to the homescreen i notice a speaker icon with a X next to it. So i guess i have shoosen correct to get a silent incoming call? Dosent happen though, phone screams like a pig when i get a incoming call. Im i doing something wrong?
tap the speaker icon in the bar and you should get a pop up with two sliders, one for system sound, one for ringer, turn the ringer all the way down and try it again.
Both ringer and System sound are set to lowest and OFF. Still a ringsignal when a incoming call. Was just in a meeting where i bragged about the meeting sceduler that sets phone to meeting profile by auto. Ye right i had 3 incoming calls disturbing that meeting. Argh.
Ahh im using Inesoft Phone Suite and that stupid software uses its profiler and it seems to override all other profilers. Great, now i know what the error is... to bad you cant disable just the profiler... good software othervise..
Ver 5 let's you turn off the Profiler.... but... it doesn't actually turn off... whatever Inesoft profile it was set to when you disable the profiler remains active...
Really annoying... and their support seems non-existent...
Location based smart lock is really spotty for me. Location is correct, I check in google maps etc, even in smart lock it shows correct location but won't work. I get it to work by one or combination of: restarting the phone, moving the pin a bit, deleting and re-adding location, clearing google play services cache but this is really annoying. It works for a while then suddenly won't work for days. Is there a wifi based alternative instead? I really like having it unlocked at home. I see this is reoccurring issue but is there a way to make it stick?
As to vibration question, I like to not have any vibrations when my sound is on, but when vibration mode in on, since I have to turn down vibration intensity to 0 so my notifications don't vibrate in sound mode, it doesn't vibrate at all in vibrate mode except for calls. This wasn't an issue in my past phone or even android version I think. Basically I just want vibrations for everything in vibrate mode and no vibrations in sound mode, is this possible and if so how?

I just got myself af Motorola One Vision and set it up as I want - I think !
Every night I shut it OFF and when turning it ON again in the morning - the sound is turned OFF !
I know how to turn the sound on again - but mostly I forgets it, so I miss some calls, mails and so.
HJow can I change the settings so the sound is ON as DEFAULT when I turn the phone ON in the morrning ?
