Best rom for T-Mobile Vario? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario ROM Development

Quite a few roms ive seen here are taken from some pre-release test build thats then been hacked to work. Not the best way.
Anyone know of the best rom for a T-Mobile Vario, ideally based on an official rom just for cleanness. Thanks

I have a question about reverting my ROM

Right now I am running NATF Rom. I am going to sell my Kaiser in the next few days on ebay, and was wondering which rom would be best to load on it. I saw the information on how to revert back to the shipped ROM. Should I revert to that one, which is 6.0 ( 1.57.502.2 ) or should I use the newest Official AT&T 6.1 rom (3.57.502.2)? Any insight is very much appreciated!
What's wrong with keeping that ROM on there? It's a faster ROM than the official ones so i think the buyer would like that.
My main concern is if the radio doesn't work for them very well. (depending on where they live). Should I worry about that?
Just tell them to message you if they have any problems with reception. If the ROM is compatible with the newest ATT radio, you can flash that on if you'd like.
thank you very much for your input!

new vodafone UK rom?

if you read my other thread i recently had to hard reset my device. i'm not too bothered about the warranty since i'll be getting rid of this fone in about 6 months, so i thought i might as well try installing these new ROMS etc. since i have nothing to lose really
thing is HTC just released a new ROM a few days ago: http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=140&cat=2&dl_id=687
wondering if anyone's tried it? should i go with that or with one of the cooked ROMs from this forum? (e.g. energy rom)?
The stock ROM will be full of bloatware, cooked ROMs run leaner and meaner.
As far as which one, read the threads before you decide.

I have a HD2 from T-Mobile UK, for some reason I couldn't flash an offical ROM to the phone so I just used a goldcard (found from search) and the new ROM works fine. No problems at all.

The default version of Opera on this version of the device is 9.7 which doesnt directly support the latest version of flash (they are ways to enable to to view older flash content however). For full flash support, Skyfire is probably your best bet,
As for roms, chances are that you have ROM version 1.43. to checko this, go to the settings tab on the Sense home screen -> About phone -> Software information. Check the ROM develoment section for other official ROMs.
The HD2 I got from T-Mobile lasted all of 2-3 hours before I put a custom ROM on. The fixOperaFlash tool should work with Opera 9.7. I've not tried it on my HD2 yet but it worked well on my Touch Pro.
how did you manage to keep all t-mobile settings right (mms internet etc ) after flashing custom rom? Which rom did you go for?
I recently flashed my tmob uk hd2 - so far i have found the miri ROM works best for me. As for internet settings and such the phone practically does it on its own
One thing i will say, I could not access internet using the Eugina rom (might have been specific to my phone)
i,ve got in t-mobile htc hd 2
its better to download sky fire that is perfect for flash player.. but only works well with wifi....
Ive also got the Tmobile HD2. Came with version 1.48.405.1 (71294) WWE ROM
Works fine.
Rom?
I went about upgrading my rom yesterday and visited htc site for the latest htc hd2 rom update. When i went to download their rom update release I had to type in my s/n . It said that this rom update is not suitable for my hand-set. I have the 1.43.110.2 (70315) WWE version ROM. Does this mean It is the same version? I have had my hd2 for over 2 months.
The ROM on the T-mobile UK phones seems to be T-mobile specific, especially if you put your serial number. I flashed my phone within 4 days of getting my phone. Currently using Artemis ROM. Yep. I got mines on T mobile since day 1. Originally flashed it using the goldcard method but have now HSPL'd it and am currently using "topix" ROM ver. 1.1.7
I'me very happy with this ROM and I've tried a few others but I keep coming back to "topix"
If anyone has good experience with any other ROM I'd be interested to hear

I completely agree with you the ROM on the HTC website is for unbranded HTC HD2 phones. There are plenty of custom ROMS and tweaks out there to suit your needs. My favourites are Tom's and Dutty's.

[Q] Best current android phone with custom roms available

Hi all,
a friend is just about to buy his first android phone and was looking at the galaxy s 2. After checking the sgs2 forum i notice that there are few custom roms available- so what are the best current android phones with custom roms available?
SGS II is considered new and still not even released in the US. I'm sure once it will there will be many ROMs available for it.
It is a fantastic device and I highly recommend to buy it anyway.
CM7 released a nightly build for SGS II lately. Cognition is my current recommendation.

One S EU AOKP

Hi there i be testing the AOKP build but just notied they put on the Tag T-mobile US
I live in norway and got the EU phone but will this work then ? If not whats the best AOKP / AOSP rom to flash to get it as clean as possible.
Thanks again for all answers
I've run build 39 on swedish unbranded One S, back then a week ago there was no mention of Tmobile US, this AFAIK is the first time a distinction is made other than on a stock based ROM to let ppl know if wifi calling and other Tmobile US specific software is included...
I've only seen this mentioned at http://aokp.co/index.php/releases/_/build-40-r26, nothing in either of these threads so far: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27508597
[ROM]{UNOFFICIAL}AOKP UNOFFICIAL somewhat nightlies

AOKP WIP!!
It works fine, since you are not flashing a radio and it is not based on HTC software, the TMOUS/International issue is irrelevant (Build 40 working fine on the UK model here)
Thank you for this!
Also having issues with camera so presume this is a CM9 issue so waiting on a fix until i run but so far it works perfect.
Camera is not really working at all wierd images and such
Again Thank you again
