Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me as I have 2 problems with my XDA Exec that have just started happening and I do not know if its a fault or I can change the options:-
1. At the same time each day the phone goes into Flight mode i.e. it basically turns itself off. Is this a fault?
2. When making a phone call or answering one , the speaker option is always on.
Please note for both these issues they have only just started and I have been using the phone for 9 months so far.

Just wondering if anyone has encoutered a problem with the screen turning itself off. It is not a settings issue but the screen randomly turns itself off in the middle of being used so i am guessing it mght be something to do with the light sensor perhaps?
Well if anyone else has the same problem or can offer some sort of explanation i would be very interested to hear about it.

i think this might be related to autolock. if you have that enabled, disable the screen dimming and let it turn off after say 2 minutes. then you should be ok.

I've had a similar issue recently - suddenly the screen started to switch off after 30 seconds without use, no matter what settings I configured in the energy system settings. No explanation, probably a bug in the 6.1 stock ROM. (I'm on another ROM now...)

same here. tried some reg tweaks but none disabled poweroff after 30 seconds
it happens to me every time after i use igo8,
so my solution is to go to the MANILA power setting (not the default windows setting) and turn DIM off.

i have Tom's 6.5 rom so when i goto regular settings it takes me to manila style setting & not the default one.
I have that problem to ?
I have a 6.1 windows, what can I do to deal with this problem ?

in power settings enable & disable dim it will fix this but only till next time... i do it after every time i use igo8.
this is especially annoying when using the topaz as hard disk or navigating via tomtom. hope they will bring out a fix soon.
Think my problem was slightly similar as I was using the original shipped ROM. Well phone is with HTC now in for screen repair so hopefully the problem will be solved.
I'm guessing it was probably down to an install of some 3rd party application. anyway will repost after i get my td2 back tomorrow

2. Replace SUB ASSY, Bezel w/touch window pre-Assy
3. Function Test

I'm not sure when exactly this issue started on my phone, but I updated my touch pro with the chevron updater and have quite a lot of apps installed.
after several seconds workling with the phone, the touch screen stops working while the phone acts perfectly normal. I can use the keyboard and tilt the phone but I cannot use the touch screen anymore.
By turning the phone off and on it works again.
has anyone experienced a behavior like this?
I noticed my touchscreen becoming unresponsive when loading particular websites. Even had it freeze once (only time it ever froze on me)
What were you doing when it does this? Do you have the multitasking reg edit on?

I know this is an old thread but this is the only reference to the exact same problem that I'm having. I'm having difficulty putting this down to hardware as the screen becomes responsive again when locking and unlocking which might point to software.
It could be a hardware issue that is resolved by locking then unlocking the phone but I don't know enough about the construction of it to have an opinion.
The advice I've had from htc is to wipe the 'phone and start again but I don't expect that to solve it (especially as their call handling system refers to Window Mobile 7 - the second large commercial organisation I've seen that on in recent weeks without looking too hard!).
Has anyone else seen this since the original post or @exilkubaner was a solution found to your problem?

I have exactly the same problem. I hard reset my HTC 7 Pro, but no success, my screen doesn't respond until i lock/unlock the device.
So, any one have resolved this issue since the first post ?

Had the same issue, but I didn't have any roms installed.
Brought it in to Sprint and they found that I had a fried ribbon connecting the screen to the phone. Replaced under warranty.
It happened again, I determined that it was caused by my click in belt clip/holster. When I pull the phone out, it pulls the screen away from the keyboard a bit.
^Wow. Nice find. I'll have to be careful with mine now as I could easily run in to the same problem pulling it out like that.

Day by day its getting worse!
1) Mob hangs suddenly and nothing will be in my control(can't reboot/lock/unlock).
2)I can unlock my mob without any pattern/password even if you enable the Pattern/pin lock.(The dumbest part of google)
3) Camera APP always crashes.
-- flash light will blow even though it was turned off.
-- what ever you capture using LensBlur will show as normal picture.
4) Battery drains like HELL
Hope will some one will help me on this!

If I were having all those problems I'd do a clean install of 5.0.1 using the factory image. The process will wipe the device so backup off the device first.

Next time research before upgrading.. Are you on 5.0.1? Rooted? Also clean cache from recovery...

Hi, it's been a while since i've posted something here on xda, i've been pretty happy of my OP6 (my first OnePlus device), and it's the first time since LG G2 that i don't feel the need to change device...
Anyway, back to the point, in the last day i noticed that the slider sometimes fails to switch from vibration to silent mode, when it happens i have to try manye times before being successfull, did this happened to someone else? It's an HW problem? Should i ask amazon to repair/rma it? Thanks in advance for the help!
I think its a HW issue.I have the same issue,i need to press the slider slightly to switch to DND,when it does not switch.Where as , Vibration and General mode work fine.

I'd like to say hello to the community, i'm new guy here
Either i couldn't find the answer or maybe i'm just blind (might be the second one) but i don't see the fix for vibration issue i have faced.
Once the phone is restarted or just turned on i can feel the vibration while it starts.
However when turn on the silent mode it's not there, heptic mode either.
Of course i went through all the options in menu, it's turned on.
I also followed a tip found somewhere and changed the stock ringtone to a custom one but it didn't help.
Any ideas? it doesn't look like a hardware issue (it works during the start of the phone)
