Need some help .. weird error.. - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario ROM Development

Well, It's not really a error, but sometimes when I soft-reset and my phone gets to the second splash screen it will beep and then a box appears that says 'Could not find GWES.EXE' anyone know what that is?

you optimised it ? It shouldn't even start if you messed arround with that

what do you mean optimized? I didnt do any optimization .. all I do is overclock... it gives me that box and then I just hit 'ok' and it just acts normal.

Do you have cleartype enabled? I've read that cleartype can cause this error. It could also be a custom application you are using that's responsible for the error.
Here's a link I found via Google:
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=112995&SiteID=1

Ok I disabled cleartype I am going to softreset it a couple times and see what happens.. I will report back.

Broken Screen Issue

This morning i got up and my screen looks as it was broken. Just like broken glass or something. Since my phone is just next to my bed i thought i accidently stepped on it during the night, but upon closer look it was not the screen but the software.
Everything seemed to be working normally, only in TF3D the is a pattern that makes it look like your screen is broken. When you switch to WM 6.1 screens it disappears. Switch back to TF3D and it's back.
Softreset solved the issue.
Any other people having this freaky issue?
You could think of it as a feature, like those fake bullet holes you put on glass. Too bad you can't figure out how to control it.

Happens to me too almost every second day. The other thing what happens in the morning, is that it reboots automatically.
I thought it is related to the charger, I was not using the TP charger, but a general USB one.
Now I switched to the factory charger, whith the factory cable, and still happens.
Somebody load magicSS onto thier device.....set it to a hardware button of some sort (if you can) and get a screenshot of it when it happens.

looks like what happens when a graphics card in a pc gets too hot/runs too fast.

Had this problem on TytN II
I experienced this on my TytN II. I had it replaced in the shop I bought it from. It never happened again.... Don´t know if it is exactly the same issue but it looked the same as the screen shot above.....
Had it on my Touch Pro, I'm convinced its a software issue.
If it happens to you guys again try this:
1. Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items: Here, uncheck TouchFLO 3D.
2. Exit to today screen (you should see nothing but a black screen and the top and bottom bars (start menu etc)
3. Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items: Here, check TouchFLO 3D.
4. Exit to today screen. The TF3D interface should now be back and look like normal.

Exactly, all other programs/the rest of the interface is fine. ONLY TF3D is affected by this "broken glass" issue.
It's gotta be a software issue.
I had the same problem the first morning I got my TP. Then it didn't happend anymore. But today (5 days later) I got it during the morning.
I tried disable and reable the tflo3d plugin but it still was the same, only a sofy reset will help...
I think it's a software problem because the main clock isn't updating in stand-by mode (ounce I turn it on and the clock was set 30 minutes ago and then the clock fast fowarded itself to the right time) when the phone is set on a long time in stand-by mode and needed to be awakened, the clock need to adjust itself too much and the tflo plugin will crash.
Anyway if somebody knows how to solve it
btw, in a dutch forum many people got this issue..

If it happens again try launching some other application such as google maps, calculator, the messaging application (ie inbox or full message view etc) and see if looks ok. I am guessing those other applications will all look fine and only TF3D will be affected by the broken glass.
Hopefully a software problem.
I´ve never experienced the "broken glass" issue, but however as i posted earlier i got this screen (see attachment) when i woke up. Afterwards it suddenly disappeared with the error message from TouchFLO3D that i needed to restart the application. After restarting i´d never happend again.
Hoping new ROM´s will fix our issue´s.
EDIT: I noticed that all this screen issue´s usually happens in the morning how weird is that.
It looks like only the rom 1.90.401.1 has this problem ???
Is there anyone with another rom that can confirm this problem ?
And I think we have two different problems, ''the broken glass'' and ''the grey screen'' like the attachment of WatskeBart ??

com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly

After updating to JF 1.43, I keep getting this error when I try to make a phone call. I can actually make a call, meaning the radio is working, its just after dialing I get this error but the call goes on, but the black screen that displays the contact picture and number isn't there, its just the homepage with the green icon in the notification bar. How can I fix this? I have attempted this update 4 times now.
Solemn Wishing, are you still getting that message?
I have the same problem, and as of now, my phone is unusable.
I reported it here:
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1864
My comment is #6
edit: I think I found the answer to what causes that bug! See my comment #7 at the above link.
A wipe solved this problem for me.
Yeah, the wipe will reset you back to the default of select automatically, but if you do it yourself, you don't have to wipe!
It's a weird bug, because it only seems to happen when you are locked onto one network, and restart your phone in an area where that network isn't available.
If you are driving around and don't turn your phone off, you won't notice the problem.

[SOLVED] TF saying update available but not showing?

if i try to go to the manual update search...its grayed out, however it says "There is an update for your device. Please check notification." but there is no update icon showing up. ive expanded the notifications, but its not showing up.
I've rebooted many times, by powering off or using hard reset, but don't get the notification for update, even though System Update says that there is an update. Anyone knows what's wrong or how to fix this issue?
keep in mind, that i am NOT rooted.

where are you looking for the notification ? its not in the pop up notifications (bottom right), its an icon on the bottom toolbar .... an up arrow if i recall ....
apologies if you knew that but id hate to not point it out as the term 'notification' often means the pop up area
I've got the same issue. Also tried deleting update.zip using adb, but can't find any trace of this file anywhere.

anybody have a solution?
bump...anyone?
i know others were having the problem....did anybody figure out a solution?
anyboy know if clearing storage/wiping data will fix the issue?
I had this issue after the 1st FOTA update.
At the time, I spoke to Asus CS. They hadn't seen the issue. The only fix was a factory reset...
There is a solution! I had this problem too. It was driving me nuts for the whole of yesterday!
Go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All
Look for DMClient.
Tap on Clear data and Clear Cache.
Do the hard reset (hold power button for 12s until TF turns off).
Turn on.
Update should show in notifications now!
I'm not sure if a normal reboot would work above, but the hard reset did it for me!
Hope this helps!
you rule!!!!
this worked perfectly. FW is now downloading.
thanks so mch!!!
Brilliant! Problem solved. Thanks.
Thanks you rule. This has been bugging me for ages!
Didn't require a hard reset just power off and reboot.
please help, I will not reveal more.
I tried to wipe data and hard reset, but nothing.
please help, I try to update but it stops. Android shows a green icon with the exclamation!

Anybody knows something about this Cellphone model? Pixys pxs-mp367a. Also android.pr

My aunt gave it to me with some kind of 'If you fix it, you can keep it' arrangement, but I can't do anything at all with it, there's barely some info in the web except for post about the problem it has and the fact that it has no solution. I can't find a rom that works for the phone either
Everytime I turn on the phone, inmediately after the logo screen, there appears an error message that says: ''Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.'' When I force close it, less than a second after, the message appears again, letting me do practically nothing.
If I'm fast enough I can enter the settings and check stuff around, after I'm in the settings screen, the problem persists, but last a little longer without the message on the screen.
I checked around to find something about the problem at it seems commonly attributed to the sync and contact apps, but I have tried all the solutions relating this apps (including a factory reset) and nothing has worked.
Something I noticed was that the android keyboard is always restarting and has 0 processes and 1 service, and just when it manages to restart, the message appears, and when I force close it, it goes back to 0 processes and 1 service and restarting. Also if I manage to enter the web browser and click in the url, just when the keyboard appears, it closes and the message appears again.
The android version is 4.0.4, and the model Pixys pxs-mp367a. If you need more info please tell me how to find it out.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

"connect via bluetooth" message..

Hey all.. I'm having a very annoying problem and I was hoping to get some help..
Since the new tizen 3.0 update, I constantly get a message on my watch telling me "Connect via bluetooth" with my phone.
It's super annoying because my phone isn't always connected to my watch (to save battery), but everytime I look at my watch to tell the time, it gives me this annoying message. I have to press the "check mark" or "X" to get rid of it.
Anyone else having this issue? If so, any way to get rid of it? I am usually on airplane mode and DND mode, but the message still comes up every couple minutes..
Thanks!!
Having same problem ... Found no solution yet Reset twice but still receiving "connect to Bluetooth" message
