Looks cool, but what does it do to your performance? I tried wizbar before, but it sucked too much system resources for me. Just curious.
Im running just fine... just installed a bunch of stuff and still got 20m ram left... so I'm doing alright...

The newest version of WA2 (version 2.8.2) is MUCH better on system resources than the previous versions. It's reduced Ram useage by about 2/3 on my system. MUCH better than earlier versions.

Windows Mobile 6.1 + Rinku's Iconbar only
These are my Slide Themes. The first five are installed as one package. It's called Slide Custom. For the different Wallpapers you have to choose the right ColorScheme!
Now there is a new approach. I created a theme called "Slide Own Wallpaper" where you can easily switch backgrounds. For this theme you have to put two pictures in "\My Documents\My Pictures" called portrait.jpg and landscape.jpg! The default color scheme is black, but you can choose the others like Red, Blue or Brown etc...
The last one is distributed separately, because it was made on request.
For the Call Screens and Branding Brick install the cabs from the zips! Download them all from the link to MediaFire below!
Don't forget to donate!!!

It works with Rinku's Icon Bar, so you have to install that too. Just copy the contents of the "Rinku Iconbar" folder to \Windows and apply the reg file. Then install the cab. Done

I've got Rinku's Icon Bar Installed, so is it just a matter of installing the cab or do I have to install the Icon Bar files from your zip to get it to work?

You don't need to install the iconbar again. Just the cab
ok complete noob here
How do i apply the reg settings??
Thanks for you help and i can wait to get this onto my vox.
OH I forgot to mention that this is WM 6.1 only.
If you have that just copy the file to your phone and open it, but you need a registry editor installed on your phone too.
http://www.phm.lu/products/Smartphone/RegEdit/
Thats for that.
I'm running Dr. Martin's 6.1.
The reg file has been put into my documents on my phone but i cant find a way to add it to the reg :S maybe i'm just being really dumb with this!
(PHM regedit is installed also)
Just click on it like you would open it!

did i understand right ?
is this the theme we know from wm 6.1 smartephone ?
ps. i don´t want this battery and wifi icon. is it include or not ?
This is made for a HTC Vox with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. I'll upload one without Rinku's iconbar. See my first post.

Thanks man.
I'm happy with this.
i cannot see the /windows folder of my vox (wm6.1 of dr. gonzo) can you help me? i have all files and folders shown.
When you try it under Windows the folder is hidden. You have to make hidden folder visible!
Thank's for this great HomeScreen, I'm using it now. Just need some Mac icons for the panels and plugins and the HomeScreen will be complete.
Roland
i have no icons in the iconbar. it is completely invisible. i think if i press the button in the middle of the nav-button (the one with the arrows) it just opens my regedit (wm6.1 dr gonzos) and does not inlcude the keys, could that be?

It also set the fonts thinner (thanks to Fireburned tip!)
Click on the picture to download.
Install and select Red Dress as homescreen.
The panels look great with other wallpapers too but I just liked the colors of this one
I've also added a small mortscript to show the current temp and weather condition on the clock panel. It's a small thing I wrote that might not always work. It only update if you manually update the weather by hitting right softkey when on the clock panel, this takes you to htc forecast application. Right softkey again, select refresh and it should work.
Maybe on first update it won't show anything => slide keyboard and close it again and it should show!
I took some inspiration from NRG weather application but my implementation is just something very simple if anyone feels like improving my dirty mortscript do so !
thx mate nice skin
Nice work dr. Gonzo thanks.
Can you make this theme and your other themes for WM 6.1 no s740. That will be nice
Thank you for this great theme Doctor! Works perfect on my Rose'd Vox.
how do you install or use that weather slide???? (plug in)
Total Commander Stopped working
The skin is excellent, but after installing it Total Commander Stopped working . Is there a work around? Because I just loved the skin
just so you know dr. Ive posted this over at allshadow http://allshadow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3938, since we have a rom based on the rose. Works great !! thanks for the theme.
I must admit when the home screen switched and i had full view of the background I was teased alittle.
Thanks Dr Gonzo for the theme. Now we have a theme with different style. You are a really wonderful.
By the way the weather panel shows only temperature and weather icon. Previuosly I had used a weather app (Featherweather portrait) developed by Showaco in Excalibur forum. It worked really well with Vox and will suit very well in the weather panel of Red Dress theme of yours. But I am unable to try it since I am afraid once I install the app it will mess up with your app. So will you give your opinion suggesting a way I can uninstall your weather app keeping the theme and install featherweather by Showaco.

someone published the registry changes & a .cab for thin fonts

Could you provide default settings of these registry keys, please?
it would also help anyone revert from thin fonts set as default in "wm 6.1 clean rom"

Is there anyway (ROM, theme, or what ever) to get Windows Mobile 6.5 and Touch Flo 3d // Sense in the "old nearly black and white" styling on the Topaz?
I just like the old styling more, and the old home screen showing calls//messages and appointments, too.

good question, "Black and White" icons are really nice, loos more "professional".

+1 from me too on B&W icons. You may try older ROMs (TESS <= 3.3).
Well happy that we all agree that the black & white slider icons look more professional. I spent 4 days searching for a possible solution to get it back but without success.
There is HDWalls application that one can use to build custom sliders but can't do much without the actual icons.
I tried to bring back the old BW style in Sense 2.1.
Take this zip file and extract its contents into \Windows directory

This is not the complete set of icons...(it is merely a preview of the full package that's coming)
Take a backup of the files you will replace so you can restore them in case you dont like the result

This is because i want to made a custom slider and icons and if you tell me witch are i can pic that files in my windows folder and then edit them.

EDIT: Never mind I got it.
Htc Diamond 2
I would recommend the Htc Diamond 2, I have use them all and by far is the best mobile on the market, ok Hero is an Android but you will have problems to find applications. I'll give a little example: I have more then 1000 Tv channels on my Htc Diamond 2 using Slingmedia software and with Sky Mobile I use the device as Remote control ( you need the Sky box +), with ORB that is included in Kinoma play I can control my PC file, videos and photos anywhere I want, then Skyfire, all the Opera browsers,SPb mobile shell with Core-Player I can get BBC iPlayer, Spotify, Tom Tom, and much much more....believe me Android is included and the Iphone too you will find the application you need here in xda or in google. Anything more??
See you
Back in February I decided to have a go at making a coloured glass digital clock to match a nice wallpaper I found.
It was as much an exercise in understanding how manila images work and learning how to use the tools as it was about creating another yet another digital clock for Manila 2.5.
I made a nice 'black glass' clock and was quite pleased with the results. However, I realised that I would need need some other colours as I had in the meantime several different coloured wallpapers.
Some 6 weeks later, I have about 20 different coloured clocks, all pretty much in the same 'glass' style. So I decided to share in case anyone else out there is interested in this style of clock...
e.g. Red 'glass'...

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Green 'glass'...
You can install each clock as usual using the cab files attached in the next posts. In most cases, I have included a screenshot to give you an idea of how the clock will look before you install it. Uninstalling is done, as usual, via Settings/Remove Programs. If any of the previous sentence does not make any sense to you, you probably should not install these cabs...!
The clocks should work without installing any additional files, but I did make the clocks after installing other cabs (mainly to do with transparency), so please let me know if there is something missing!
The clocks work on Manila 2.5.1920 because that is what I have on my HD2. I think they should also work on 1921 (but I cannot guarantee it) and I haven't got a clue about other versions.
In order to answer a few obvious questions before they are asked...
No. I won't be making clocks 'to order'...
No. I won't be making versions for other versions of Manila...
The wallpapers are not mine. But they are available on this forum from the usual suspects. I cannot remember who posted which wallpaper, so credit goes to all of them...
Transparent Task-and Softkey bars using HDWall (search for it to get it)...
Transparency cabs are mostly 'Touch X' (from Smaberg?) and AntonioMistretta and are all available in the sticky at the top of this forum...
Glass Icons are from Jaguaralani
The glass slider is from Dinik
I'll also include somewhere one zip file with all cabs if the site will let me.
[Update]

Nice
Hey bro,
You got some nice screen shots.
Could you tell me what cab you use to get the clock/battery combo? I use Dutty's ROM and I would like to remove the clock from the right corner of the taskbar, and get the clock/battery combo. That looks nice.
Thanks in advance.

I use battclock, here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612083
It is great (especially since it is freeware!) but just a heads up, the battery and clock has a solid background color (not transparent). So if you have a fancy taskbar background with glossy effect or something, the battclock cannot blend in. Also, the lines that you see is part of the battclock cab. The colors can be modified to match your theme if you don't like the default R, Y, G colors.
Thanks for the info, bro. Appreciate it.
Thank for the collection

The application/skins are mostly cab files; so download them and place them on your SD (Don't extracting it!) navigate with your device to the file on your SD, press on it.
A new window will pop up, and ask you the install installation. select intern memory!
can somebody share the anastasia quicklink cab ?
thank you
