if some one know jave enable sites working on wm6 Rom,s? and how can we watch youtube videos ?
Opera 8.65 Beta
Downloading the beta version of the new opera browser, I think its 8.5B, and also installing flash player for pocketPC will allow you to view youtube videos on your phone. THe opera browser is free right now, because its beta, but it will expire by June 1 2007, I believe. After that, you will have to pay. As far as I know, there is not way to view youtube videos via PIE.

Hi 'been using Skyfire for the past 6 months to watch BBC news and other channels embedded within the BBC webpages. I was wondering if anybody had found another solution for example a version of Opera etc? Thanks
bbcplayer not sure if it works or not but give it a go.
Mach5 Browser
Hey There!
Mach5 mobile brower, is also a very usefull and compatible browser.
The textinput is more handy than Skyfire, and it has an own videoplayer for onsite videofiles, very handy.
The only negative thing is, you have to pay for it! (not that much, but still)
But, I like it very much!

Hi to all
I bought HTC HD2 two days ago and i don.t know why i Can not watch movies from youtube using the opera.???Is that possible.?
use the youtube application in start/youtube
opera 9.7 does not support flash the way it should but they say opera 10 will
If you want a browser with full flash support (YouTube and everything), get Skyfire.
It's not better than Opera overall, but it's nice to have different options that cater to different needs.
in hd opera when a you tube link was clicked you tube application used to get autolaunch ...
but this never happens in opera of hd2 ..........
but in internet explorer you tube link open in you tube application ............
so any work around for opera of hd2 to launch you tube application when you tube link is clicked ..
Youtube works in Opera and it is fully functional (plays in the broser, with full screen and zoom function), you just need to activate it with a patch:

Also allows to play videos from other Flash-enabled web sites.
I don't recommend Skyfire unless you are in the US.
Skyfire uses servers to give you the content and they are often slow, from the wrong country (DRM issues) or just not available.
You can test skyfire, but for me it didn't do the trick.
so i am trying to get youtube working on this rom"JustStable V2 Build 8 Windows Mobile 6.1" I download'd the tcmp and flashvideo bundle but the "video site" link and youtube video's all default to opera mobile wich does not work on this rom. Is there a way to make it not be associated with opera mobile?

Why not just download the official YouTube client directly from Google. It'll work a lot better. Although if you really want flash from a web browser, Skyfire is the way to go.
Wrong subforum.
Hello,
I love my HD2 (ROM-Version 1.43.407.2 GER) but recently I have some problems with the preinstalled Opera...
1) When I surf e.g. to E!Online.com my browser opens not the original page but the German one. And it's not only the localized page but it's although the WAP page. This is especially stupid when I klick on the links in the E!Online Tweets - then again, the to be opened page is not the desired one but a localized WAP page which of course does not contain the wanted information.
2) I know Opera cannot play Youtube videos (at least not without using the FlashFix, which I have not installed so far); nevertheless there is a preinstalled separate Youtube application which works fine for me. And I know that there is Skyfire which handles Flash but has no multitouch - I installed it but like Opera more... Is there any possibility to open Youtube links or embedded Youtube videos in blogs from Opera with the external Youtube application (due to the fact that I would like to watch it fullscreen)?
Do you have any ideas how to handle one or both of my issues?
Thanks in advance!
DW!
Nobody?
To answer question 2: no it's not possible
Hello. I've read that skyfire supports flash. The thing is that every site i enter that requires flash,i got every time the message "this website requires flash player" so skyfire cant handle flash in is full purpose. Is there any alternative? Thanks
your right in saying SkyFire supports flash but its Android 1.6 that doesnt support it, we'll have to wait till 2.2 comes for the X10
Skyfire as a web browser, doesn't actually support flash. The server that renders the web pages that send them to your browser for viewing does. Skyfire's functionality has nothing to do with the x10 being on 1.6 versus 2.2 with NATIVE flash support.
Skyfire works fine on my x10, and use it all the time to watch videos. However, having said that, not all sites are supported by Skyfire. Also, Skyfire does not work as per the norm when trying to view video. An example of this is when I go to Youtube, Break or other video sites. I can click on a video and go to the videos page. However, I get the message that I need adobe flash player where the video is. BUT! if you hit the menu button, you'll see a "video" tab in the bottom left. If you click that, it will play the video. Now as I said, not all sites are supported by Skyfire. A few of your favorite porn sites just wont work
Try pornhub or keezmovies.....yummy!!!!
