Hello,
I have a problem using Google calendar from my s710, ultimate I would like to get oggsync to work but it seems I can't even log in to Google calendar via IE or Opera on my phone. I just get an "oops, your calendar is not available right now" error.
Did some searching and found that I need NETCF sp 2 to get it to work, however it seems like that is already installed on mine. Atleast that is what the cab says when I try to install it.
Anyone has any ideas?

Today it works to log in via IE but oggsync still don't work. Tried gmailsync 1.3 instaed and got it working
Now I can edit my calendar on Google via a desktop computer and sync it over without having to edit stuff directly on the phone. My hands are not designed to push the phonebuttons so much hehe.

As per title anyone aware of a way to link google calendar to your ppc,
either pocketbrezze or your standard pim etc

I have seen readers, but these do not sync with the internal calendar, which I assume you want to do (as I do too).
I am really surprised there is no simple way to sync an ical profile with either Outlook or Pocket Outlook.
I know you can sync with a public profile on your desktop, but I doubt everyone wants to make their calendars public, and still doesn't help for people on the move.
An alternative would be to stop using Google Calendar for now until more solutions are available, and set-up a Live Mail2Web account, and simply use their Outlook Web Access for your calendar needs, and put the sync profile in your Activesync.
http://live.mail2web.com
It's the only good all round solution to online contacts backup, calendar sync, and push mail, and all from one provider, and free of charge too.
Nice one mate ill look into that
Remote Calendars
I've been using an open source program called Remote Calendars.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/remotecalendars/
it synchs your google calendar to outlook which can then be synched to your PPC.
you can also synch the other way (i.e. put something in your PPC and have it transferred to Google)
it's not a perfect system but it's the best i've found
Am I right in thinking you still have to make your calendar public for this application to work though?
No google calendars have two addresses:
a public one - which you can disable and
a private one - which you should never give to anyone else or publish anywhere
you can get your private address from the Calendar Details page of the settings menu. this is what you use for Remote Calendars
so your calendar is still private (or shared with family & friends etc)
woohhhoooooooo

there's a program called activegcsync, it is pretty good
woah way to bump and old thread.
hi, i developed a small tool to synchronize the google calendar with pocket outlook. is a beta but if you want to give it a glance. In future also sync contacts.
http://gsync.wordpress.com
Great app, works quite well.
One question though, I can't seem to be able to get the "Where" field to come across. Is this something missing in the app?
Also it could be cool to put a auto update every time we do a change on the calendar ....
or more simply every 15 minutes....
thx
Try www.nuevasync.com
It works fantastic with Google Calendar!!! PLUS there is no extra programs to install because it uses ActiveSync which is built in to WM6
Also, it sync contacts from Google Contacts or Plaxo... I honestly prefer Plaxo because it doesn't have the annoying "Suggested Contacts" and it keeps the format as last name first, but I would still recommend Google Contacts because there have been problems with Plaxo syncing due to "excessive usage" (according to Plaxo).
Hope it helps everyone
Activegcsync for multiple Google Calendar sync (WM5/WM6/WM6.5)
Try Activegcsync by Gil Milow. Unlike other software I have tried (eg. GMobileSync), it works very well for multiple calendars (and contacts). It is available free although I'm sure the developer would appreciate a donation for his efforts. It is software like this that at least keeps our Windows Mobile phones (WM5/WM6/WM6.5) functional.
Hello,

has anyone successfully got this to sync on fuze?? Thanks for your help.
I Timing was perfect, the truth was just the first synchronization with the phone for GPRS.
Contacts synchronized for a long time (196 contacts) for about 15 minutes
I Diddnt know googlesync had a version for PPC yet.. But i have had no issues at all with neuvasync.com for my contacts & calander from google & I just use Pocket Outlook for the email.
I set up for the management of Google
http://www.google.com/mobile/default/sync.html
Calendar syncs with Thunderbird, contacts, too, with the help of a plugin Google Contacts
I can get it to sync, more or less, with my Polaris. It will display an error, but as far as I can see my whole calender is synced.
I have seen quite many posts that get the same error and it seems it has something to do with Googles Exchange server. But don't ask me, I don't know how the stuff works
thanx for the help
I went to the link on google already and still couldn't get it to work. Anyone tried the service yet?
Google Sync works fine on my X1, just followed the instructions and it worked. Only issue I had was the format it brought some contacts accross as (e.g Surname, Forename not Forname Surname)
