Can anybody tell me how to build a german version of the WM6 (or change the keyboard layout to german)? I have got the Windows Mobile 6 SDK for Visual Studio ... Does this help me to build one?

Just the German Keyboard layout!?? I tried to cook wm6 with the keyboard .dll from the windows mobile 5 aku 3.3. After flashing it on the wizard the system hung up after booting ... HELP!

Hi all together,
I seach Windows Mobile 5 Version in German for my HTC Himalaya, or a language Fix, does anybody have one?
the best where a new one with AKU 3.5
now i have the WM5 Version from llbasha, which is a great work! But this is only in English!
I have tested a Langauge Change to German, but this is not 100% good, many are good translat but not all.

Hi llbasha thank you for your Reply, but I have install a Language Change (Pack) on the WM5 WWE Version (The WM5 Version is from you, that I a great Work Thank you, but in Englisch!!!)
However someone musst have the German WM5 Version for the Himalaya with a new AKU, I am not the only one who search this version, so please upload the German version!!!!

ohh one more question, if my battery and backup battery are empty, will i lost the Data wich i install on my Himalaya?? (with WM2003 i lost it but what is with WM5???)

Hi All,
I upgraded my k-jam to WM6 (NBD 9.2) but when i try to install the arabizer files that came with the original iMate ROM it doesn't work. I googled n i came accross this http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=84741 it says that there's a Faria from with arabic support but the link to the ROM is not working. Can someone point me to how i can i install the arabic files to k-jam with WM6 or point me to the arabic supported Faria ROM.

So i used the Web to search for the original for Polaris.
But i didnt found it.

You hadn't search a lot. You can switch manilla 2D to default windows 6.5 home in pcarvalho rom for example.
Which rom have you install. Give us pore details if you want help.

it's been a while, but not many WM6.5 roms around? I see only pcarvalho and pdaviet in the forum
but there's no way to search "WM6.5" as it returns nothing.
before there were many Wm6.1 roms...

Yes i've been there, but search doesn't work with "ROM" keyword or WM6.5
and the sticky that was there for WM6.1 etc now gone...
tried pcarvalho eXtreme but it seems very slow, is this due to WM6.5 itself? should I stick to official WM6.1?
i installed windows mobile 6.5 on my palm treo 750 but it is a bit slow and it has a lot of problems . So i want to install windows mobile 6 or 6.1 , but i don't know how . Also i want to install a greek version of windows mobile ( any version) but again i don't know how . If anyone can help with my problems it would be great . Thank you
You can install WM6.1 the same way you installed WM6.5.
If you want to downgrade to an official WM6.0 ROM you will probably need to edit the payload file first.
Remember that although some of the WM6.1 files are quite good and stable, they can still have bugs. If you want to minimize that issue, you'll need to go back to WM6.0.
I don't believe I have seen any Greek ROMs posted, so I can't help you there.
