I'm having difficulty flashing the rom (There may be an issue with the phone, not sure yet). The phone was at 99% and the upgrade died, I'm stuck at the 3 color red/green/blue with the USB connection. I think there is a way to fix this, but I forget. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

What phone you got... G3, G4 ... CID Locked/Unlocked ?
G3, CID was unlocked a long long time ago. IPL/SPL 2.25 and it says RUU at the top right corner. I should of included the info, thanks for the help!

Turn the phone off (pull the battery if you have to) and unplug the USB cable. Then turn it back on so its back at the bootloader screen (rainbow color bars screen you saw). Now plug in the USB cable. ActiveSync will NOT connect, but thats fine. You will see USB above the left soft key. Now flash an offical rom (either the Cingular 2.25 found on the HTC website, or T-Mobile 2.26).
Read this thread for details, steps and links:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
Once you get back on an official rom, then you can reinstall whatever custom rom you want (but you need to get back to an official one first at this point).

OK then...
Plug it into the usb, and when the bootloader appears, start flashing whatever rom you like...
Easy, right ?
hmm, it died again at 99% on the upgrade. I can do the official install w/no problem. Maybe I need to go back through the cid unlocker?

Please forgive me for stating the obvious but you do know that it is normal to stall at 99% for a few minutes sometimes longer.... What do you mean by "Died at 99%"?
To be honest. You didn't said anything but typical wrong flash case...RUU from custom ROMs to another custom ROM(or having CIDlock probs) is good method for having 3bars relax time.
it's question of the day: what do You mean by "died @ 99%". when i am flashing anything, stalls up to 5 minutes @ ANY percent arent reason to PLUG CABLE OFF,or ANY manipulation on pc, or ppc. if it just stuck forever, its time to turn back to old ROM image, or just any rescue ROM, SO:
revert to old rom with ruu, then install 2 cabs from shelltool, wait 30 secs, reset, turn radio off, plug usb on, and after adding nk.nbf into shelltools directory, and spectacular launching earlier mentioned shelltool, and rtfm od its docs, you may start to do what you've just read.
while flashing DO NOT DO ANYTHING with machines.
After finished operation you will see end so it IS END.
Hard reset.
100% positive flashes, if net is turned off, firewall killed and antivirus turned off. also, remove sd card before flash.
btw, what's your IPL/SPL...
Sorry, I should of been more descriptive. The rom update gets to 99%, then hangs for awhile, then the update application on my computer says that there was a communications error and goes into a recovery instructions. The phone itself stays at 99% until I unplug the battery.
I'll try doing the revert back to old rom in the morning, it's a secondary phone and I left it at work.
I had this problem as well...
I ended up just flashing a stock rom multiple times until it finally took.
I think I had to do it at least 2, if not 3 times before I was finally able to boot the phone.

So, you are experiencing this when trying to flash a stock rom.
Check if the RUU is not corupted. If you downloaded it now, it may also cause this.
Also...restart your PC and don't run anything in the bacground while flashing. Just to make sure.

Also make sure you remove the SD card in your phone if you have one. I've seen flashes fail when SD cards are installed.
Ok, I reloaded the rom. I can't figure out the button rom, there is a screen with a bunch of ???? that come up and none of the buttons do anything. :\ I loaded the wizard love one, which loaded ok. I tried the crossbow reloaded but it hung at 99% again and the application went back into error recovery mode. Maybe I'm just not meant to have it! lol. I don't have the sim or sd card installed atm.
Oh ya, this is probably the most responsive/helpful forum I think I have ever seen.
..removed..
I've tried on a clean machine and still same thing. What happens at 99%? Could the phone itself have issues?

All the roms will hang at some point towards the end of the flash (official ones tend to hang around 85% or so. The cooked ones hang closer to 99%). This is the point where the final part of the flashing is occuring and I think there is verification that what was written checks out as being valid.
If you can get a rom on and the phone working, and then do a hardreset and that works, then I would say you do not have a hardware issue with your phone (at least not from the flashing side).
BTW: Crossbow Reloaded v1.5 is out now. Please try downloading it and flashing that one (just to see if it makes a difference for you). It is very odd that multiple roms stop at 99% on your like this (hard to say its a bad download).
Sorry, I haven't reread this entire thread, but have you tried this from a different computer? ALso try to turn off any firewall, VPN, or even antivirus software on your computer while you flash to see if that corrects the issue. I think I remember someone trying to go into Safemode one time to do a flash.
Then there is also stand on your head or wave a dead chicken over your head while the flash is happening.... (yeah, I'm grasping at straws on this one )
Lol, thanks. I downloaded the 1.5 and going to give that a wing.
People... pleas read throught the forums!!!
Its so annoying that people asks the same question again and again and again. Dont be so lazy, do your research, search the forum and dont post ST$#"D questions!!!
Gah, error 302 every time. I loaded buttons ROM, unlocked again, tried reloading rom, then BOOM 302! Maybe WM6 isn't meant for this phone.. lol I can load any WM5 or lower and have zero issues.

I want to start out by saying I'm really sorry if I'm asking something stupid but I am a complete newbie and do intend to learn as much of this on my own as I can....
I took my brand new AT&T Tilt and I connected it to my Vista Laptop when it was charged fully and used the built-in Windows Mobile Device Center to do a quick connect (like a guest connect where files can be transferred but stuff isn't synched) and ran kaiser_HardSPL which gave me a white screen rather than the expected tri-color screen.
I found the solution for the white screen and did a reset by pushing the stylus into the small hole space on the bottom of the Tilt and then connected it again to my laptop and copied over JumpSPL1.56-KAIS to the phone. I then ran that app from the phone and the tri-color screen showed up. When 'USB' showed up on the screen I disconnected the USB cable for about 10 seconds and plugged it back in. The text 'USB' stayed on the screen and nothing happened after that. I then used the stylus again to reset the PDA again and I am now at my current step.
Am I ready to put a ROM on now? I'm so new to this and I definitely want to learn just not sure what's next....is my CID unlocked? Did everything go correctly or did I miss out on some important step?
What should I do next if I want to put a new ROM on? Whatever help anyone can give me would be very much appreciated.
Looking forward to becoming an active and contributing member to this great community!

Quick question, and I'm not trying to be funny or anything, but did u read?
Thanks for the quick reply -- I did read the different threads that I thought would be dealing with this but was unsure of what to do after I did the white screen fix. The white screen fix said there was a way to test if it worked by checking a splash screen but when I ran that it said make sure you've already done HardSPL first otherwise it can brick your phone so I wasn't sure if I did actually do that step properly or not (of installing HardSPL).
I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you again for taking the time to read my post!

I can answer that!
I apologize for missing something obvious -- could anyone please point me to which thread I should look at?
Thank you.
No your device is still not ready.

You're on the right track. From what I gather you can indeed flash something at that stage on SSPL or continue on to flash HardSPL (which is what I believe you intended to do!). Get back to the stage you were at and, from the thread in which you found JumpSPL, flash HardSPL onto your phone. After that point you are totally ready to become a slave to dutty's roms...
Look here and ye shall find: HardSPL will not install - WHITE SCREEN: SOLVED
Well, first correctly install HardSPL, then go on flashing a ROM. You may find my FAQ usable. See my signature.
Nono... one more step to go.
After disconnect and connect usb flash hardspl then softreset.

Already corrected it. But you were faster ^^
Thank you to all of you -- you're all being very helpful!
I ran the flash-hardSPL (ran the file in that folder called KaiserCustomRUU) and it gets all the way to where it is updating the rom image to the kaiser-hardSPL version and it shows 0% on my phone and 0% on the PC and after about a minute or so it says ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR ... it instructs me to remove my battery for 3 seconds, put it back in and try again.
I've done this twice now and keep getting the same error -- any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you once again.
The only thing I can think about is that your phone is simlocked.
Do you have the usb cable connected straight to the pc or do you use a usbhub?

Oh yes, that's true. I didn't realize I had to unlock my phone before I could start this process...I guess I confused it with CID unlocking or something.
I must have missed the part in the newbie FAQ about phones needing to be sim unlocked for all this stuff to work.
I guess I will have to get it unlocked first! Very much appreciate the prompt replies.
oh i just realized my SIM wasn't even in the phone while I was doing this (since I took it out during the white screen fix) -- would putting the SIM back in still create the same problem if my phone isn't unlocked?

No, a SIM-lock does not affect flashing.
So you ran JumpSPL from your phone, saw USB displayed on the screen, unplugged the usb cable, replaced it and then ran the hardspl provided from the thread I linked you to? There is no soft resetting going on between seeing USB on the screen and initiating the hardspl flash.

Hi arexben,
I actually was an idiot and soft reset after unplugging and then plugging in the USB and not seeing any change on the screen.
Now if I put JumpSPL on my PDA and try to run it, it won't run saying it can't be opened because its either not signed w/ a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found.
Thank you so much for everyone trying to help me ... so to clarify, my phone has not been unlocked from AT&T and I am assuming I should still be able to get this stuff working.
Thanks again!

Hello to all, I am a noob here and have tried to adhere to all of the demands to do research and not post ?'s, but I am at a wall.
I have a Tilt and I ran the sim unlock and I was using the Sleuth 3.0 on it. Everything was working fine. I added the Iunlock cab and it worked fine as well. I then tried to install the icontacts, but i would have to go to program files and icontacts file in order to use I contacts. Well, wanna be innovative me thinks to try and move that file so it would replace something. I copied it to the windows appbuttons folder and deleted the regular contacts and nothing happened, then I put it in the start up folder and no luck, then I simply copied it to the windows folder not at the bottom where all of the extra files are. After that I tried to reset it and now all that I get is the bootloader screen. it reads as follows:
KAIS1*0 MFG
SPL-1.0.Olipof
CPLD-8
At the bottom, it shows either USB or Serial depending on if the usb is plugges up.
I tried running the sim unlock again and the dutty rom and both load to 100% but it goes back to the same screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help and thank you so much.

You could hard reset if you altered something in WM to cause it not to boot...hopefully
I tried the hard reset and same thing I flashes for a very split second loading and then goes back to the screen.
Hard reset is both item buttons above IE and Mail with soft reset correct?

If it does not hardreset or help u, do what zeezee told u - flash a new rom.
OK, thank you all for you diligent assistance. I have tried the hard reset and it does the same thing...goes to black for about 2 seconds, then for a very split second goes to a grey screen and flashes loading then back to the bootloader.

From youre sd card (memorycard), look it up in wiki. Moust of us flashaholics keeps oure rom on oure memorycard and just rename the rom/bootsplash/radio or whateva and place it in root then activate bootloader -> flash. This is an alternative for not using usb cable, pc and active sync
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=KaiserSDFlash
ok thanks, but am i correct in understanding that to do that I have to use the phone to access the mem card?
My issue is that the only screen I get is bootloader, no nothing else. I can't even turn it off. I can take the battery out to get a black screen, but any action to try something will take it back to the bootloader screen. But for some reason, it still allows me to flash the ROM, I think. I flash it on my pc and then my phone goes to the grey screen where it shows the % of progress. It reaches 100% and the pc tells me to click finished and I do then it goes back to the bootloader.

I don't mean to argue with you here and you are right about research threads, but honestly it's easy to get caught up in frustration with the amount of information. Some authors are good at documentation and some skip steps along the way or extra links are in the threads.

I agree with some of your remarks. Yes myself and others have jumped down people's throats yelling, "Search." One thing you have to remember though this is a developers forum, not a novice forum to help people making there phone look "cool."
Going into flashing / upgrading / modifying, you have to have a little bit of knowledge or time using Windows Mobile / Windows in General devices and machines.
Usually reading some background information can be a world a difference before jumping into this sort of thing.
I found the problem to stuck in bootloader. Thanks to all who have posted threads.

On the Kaiser note, I found after further studying of some threads, a solution to my issue where I was stuck in bootloader. I think this will apply to anyone that is stuck in bootloader with the usb/serial showing at the bottom and when they try to flash a new rom is goes to 100%, but the are still stuck on the boot screen.
After reading more threads, it appeared that there was some sort of disconnect between the usb and the phone. Since my PC was stating that it was successfully completing the flash, that shows that it was not getting any type of error from the phone. After reading a thread I simply blew in my tilt usb port and used my stylus to try to straighten it out as one of your post state to ensure the usb connection is straightor it may give mtty an issue.
Once I messed with my USB port, the phone came back to life and everything was fine. Everything was rebooted and all my info was lost however. I was even able to successfully flash a new ROM.
In closing, if anyone is stuck in bootloader mode and their flash goes to 100% and doesn't fix their issue, tell them to clean and straighten their usb connection.

You may need to use the factory charger to charge your device. I keep hearing the problem people experience when trying to charge a completely dead battery with a usb charger. the factory charger is 1amp while usb is half that. that may be why it wouldnt charge.
also, when the phone is in bootloader (tricollor bars) the power does not turn off.
you may need to charge your device completely before turning it on; then flash the original rom to it.
anothor thing about flashing while in bootloader:
If you connect the usb and XP does not recognize it, you have to unplug it, reset the device, then connect the usb again. as soon as you hear the found hardware noise, open the rom upgrade utility. flash. should work.
when posting a question such as this, it helps to provide as much information about the device and the circumstances under which it failed. this being an electronic forum, it is difficult to play detective to find out what you did wrong to mess up the machene.
also remember that it is a machene. it can not ousmart you, but you can outsmart it.
Which is your device, what were you doing when this happened, were you trying to flash a rom ?

my device just bricked on my while updating also. not sure why, i use a Cingular 8125. i flashed it to the t-mobile 1.2 rom (like i always do) and then tried flashing it to a new rom and about halfway through it bricked up. now activesync wont even recognize it. how can i fix this?
Bricked up is an over used word on these forums. If it does nothing no lights no charge when you put a fully charged battery in it, then its a brick.
Anyway here is me repeating myself yet again. A Wizard WONT CHARGE A BATTERY without windows mobile running. So charge the battery in another wizard or orbit or buy an external desktop charger /cradle with a spare battery slot or a new battery because it wont charge it
Not really...
Wizard can charge without powered on (when not bricked). It just can't charge if the battery is too flat.

It will charge a completely "flat" or dead battery with the original factory charger. the one that has the output of 1amp, not the usb, which is .5amp
so yea, sorry about this confusing post. sop what i was trying to do was changing my wizard love rom to XM6r5...but i dont know how
what i did was use shelltool and pooped it. but now iono how to really fix it. im still confused now cuz i cant boot up at all. i can get into the bootloader r/g/b screen
but iono how to fix it from there
sound to me like you may not have unlocked your device?
maybe.
try this: reset your phone with the reset button;
put it in bootloader (tricolorscreen) reset holding the camera button while untill it is in bootloader;
plug in the usb;
run the update utility.
as it updates, it will seem to freeze at 100%. do not unplug it.
I recomend you flash the love rom first.
but it says it cant even connect when i pplug my usb to the pc and device
th pc dun really "see" it
and the ruu, dont you need active sync on as well or sumthin? nothin shows up

try reseting it. then put it into bootloader; then plug it in; then run the flasher.
if you unplug it while it is in bootloader, then plug it in again it will not read.
exit everything (meaning flashing utility unplug usb; reset phone)
then try it again.
just a side note, dus it matter which ruu im using to do this? or should i use the wizard love first?
okayt so i have tried it, but curiously, how do i know if its actually working when i do that? cuz everytime im in bootloader and open ruu, it goes at first, but the status dusnt move past 0% and then an error message comes up. does it matter ifi supposedly have other programs open in the b/g?
I think it matters which ruu you are using depending on if you have a G4 or G3.
If you have a g4 then use the ruu for a g4.
the guy who designed the wizard service tool would know.
I would flash to the factory rom though to fix any issues first.
what is your IPL SPL? G3 or G4?
well, at least we know that your phone is not bricked. It will get fixed under the right circumstances.
It could be that your battery is not charged all the way.
remove the battery, then put it back in. charge it fully (overnight) and try to flash it to the factory rom.
well i upgraded my rom to wizard love previously, so apparently its a g4 now. i want to upgrade to the XM6r5 ruu but im not too sure.
maybe u could help locate me a few stable and nice roms for g4?
but thanks so far
when i run the RUU, i keep getting an errormessage 260, saying it cant connect my phone to the pc.,..
have you gotten it unbricked yet?
need more infoon your phone and it's current state.
everytime you post a message (it seems) you do not give enough information.
ipl spl current rom ...
I dont know any of these things. untill I do, I can't help you.
If you search the G4 forum you will find information on flashing your phone if it is a G4. (you may need to soft spl or hard spl your phone) look to the G4 forum for information for that.
just because it had the love rom does not mean that it is a g4. all roms that have OS ONLY can be flashed to a G4. If it has SPL/IPL (bootloader) Or extended roms can not be flashed to a G4
oh. haha sorry. now it just boots straight into the bootloader with "ruu" on the upper right hand corner.
ipl is 2.26.0001
spl is 2.26.0001

Its a G4,you can only upgrade through either SoftSPL or HardSPL,read about this in the G4 sub-forum posted as stickies.
but how would i use hardSPL thru only bootloadeR?
update: everytime i restart my phone, it keeps booting up into the bootloader screen with "RU" on the upper right of the screen

ok,download official carrier's rom, get into Bootloaders, hook up the phone with pc via usb,Now Check,if small usb appears at the bottom of the Bootloader screen,if its there than Run the Ruu in the rom to flash it,but if it doesn't appear, its not establishing connection with pc and phone. There might be a connectivity problem,it cud be usb cable, mini usb port of the phone or usb input of pc.
Yes! you can only do HardSPL if its working normal, you can even try to flash wizard_love rom and if it flashes, then go for HardSPL.but official carrier's rom will be more appropriate and recommended,it will also remove any Extended_Rom corruption,if any.
I started this thread as a constructive and positive place for those of us that have recently lost our G1's or ADP's. I am going to document all my settings, Radio version, Firmware, Build info, etc here and hopefully reverse engineer this issue until I have an answer. If anyone has any hardware engineering information on this device it would be greatly appreciated. I'm even willing to host a private forum from my site to work on this.
Thanks everyone for your continued hard work and Haykuro, you're still the man!
-JFv1.43 RC9 firmware (just did this one update, not the radio update)
-1 GB micro SD which was deliverd with the phone
-Google's Developers Edition
-rooted
-sim ulocked
-almost fully loaded about 80 % battery
-everything went fine, the update went fine, restarting, and then no response and always and always the same android screen,
now im trying to crash it by low battery, not by just take the battery out, maybe this'll work (but I dont think so)
don't know anything else
Partioned Fat32/EXT2 1GB SDcard from t-mobile
Flashed RC29 via Bootloader .NBH file
Rooted with RC29
Updated to RC33
Flashed Hard SPL
Flashed JF v1.5 ADP Lucid MOD - did APPs2SD and Dalvik2SD
Flash 2.22.19.26I Radio
Flashed Grafitti Citrus Theme JFv1.50 Beta
Flashed H Special SPL with battery at 89% - saw it update, rebooted on its own, saw the chip with the arrow on it and it rebooted. once after that it hanged. I waited 5 minutes and then took the battery out. Got my sdcard reader, renamed the jf v1.5 to update to reflash like instructed. powered the phone with home+power and got nothing but a hang on t-mobile G1 screen.
Both phones were done the same. One phone bricked and one phone flashed the SPL.
I wonder if the Dream responds to goldcards like other HTC phones do...
That's how we fixed our Heralds, which is how the Elf's got their fix, etc.

You convert a SD card into a Goldcard and the phone will read it and allow the phone to flash ANY NBH file, regardless of CID, etc etc.

This has happened to me many times when I didn't wipe (the PHONE ). Take the battery out, place back in and hold Home + Power to get into menu. Type alt + w to wipe, afterwards, alt + s to apply update.zip from sdcard, then Home+Back to restart. The first time loading, it can take up to ten minutes to get past the Android screen (mine took 7-10 minutes), so be patient.
Post back with any results.

that wont work i just read the write up. In order for the goldcard to work, the g1 has to go into fastboot, which none of our devices can go into fastboot nor recovery. I even formatted a sdcard to start the process but when i got to the fastboot i was so disappointed.
One detail, when i flashed the new spl I was doing something else and when i check my phone it back to recovery utility windows itself ,it was in 15 20 minute, after that i reinstalle jf1.5 and all worked ok
what this means. if you are flashing your phone and before these process finishes your take out you battery, you can bricking you phone. take patience and wait.
Good luck
ps:i change the final text for sir*mez

this happened to the one that bricked.
Flashed H Special SPL with battery at 89% - saw it update, rebooted on its own, saw the chip with the arrow on it and it rebooted. once after that it hanged. Both phones were done the same. One phone bricked and one phone flashed the SPL. So yes I guess I bricked one phone but a miracle happened with the other one. the one that flashed properly went into the recovery on its own right after the boot, but not in no 15-20 min wait like you said. you sure need to stop the blaming. i am not blaming anyone for my bricked phone, im just trying to find a solution. you are going to get this locked because of the bickering.
hey sir*mes was no my intentions blaming to anyone , i only want to say that all need to give more time to flash before take out the battery. only that.
i will do something for you , i will change the text, happy?
Good luck

So what harm would it do to try? From what I remember the goldcard on herald was supposed to get us into the bootloader even when we couldn't normally.
Let me be perfectly clear, those of us with the issue of a bricked device from loading the SPL from Haykuro are experiencing an actual case of being bricked.
Read carefully.
The phone WILL NOT turn on!!!!
We are looking for a solution that runs as far back as actually burning the SPL image directly to the phone's memory. I am even willing to try a hardware to hardware method to accomplish this.
I know the phone is still somewhat responsive because my laptop detects the USB connection to the phone but it will not recognize the device.. obviously because the communication is broken since the phone is dead. The power LED will turn on but only after I remove the battery first. Once I press the POWER key the LED turns off and will not light again until I remove and replace the battery.
Solutions that we are trying:
GoldCard method.
Looks like a couple of us have tried this but since fastboot can't see the device then we can't use this method unless someone knows something super seceret.
Crashing the device by allowing the battery to fully discharge. Unlikely but trying anyway.
Any other ideas?????
Thanks everyone for helping thus far!

in order to create a goldcard for the dream it has to read the sdcard off fastboot which i cant get into.

The same happens on Heralds when the imgfs is messed up. To fix it, we force it to go into the bootloader mode and it does turn on. I wonder if it's something similar.
I meantioned in the big main topic an idea though I dont think anyone saw it.
In the past for other phones I was able to make recoveries using the computer while it was in the boot loop.
Anyone with the brick, try to see what happens when you do this:
adb remount
After the "T-Mobile G1" screen shows up. See if it says mount sucessful. I would try though it does not stay on the screen too long for me, not only that it might work for me just because it continues fine so its inconclusive.
If you get lucky and it says remount successful, you could try this:
adb shell recovery
I am not sure of the commands to follow from there, but it might allow you to flash a different update.zip file from the command line. If you get lucky like that, look up the commands and see how that might go. There has to be a way to communicate to the hardware when that screen comes up. Its good that that screen comes up, because it means its not 'fried' so to speak, it just has a misconfigured loader which doesnt have the correct set of instructions (good point about the different types of boards, thats most likely the issue) for THAT board. I would go back to the one that worked previously.
I installed HardSPL and checked to make sure it installed fine, ect. Then I went and downloaded this ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497699
I established an activesync connection and then installed the ROM, waited until it was 100% done and it reset itself. The next time it booted up, it stuck at the AT&T logo screen. I read somewhere to hard-reset when you get to the part where you configure the stylus... wanted to get back to a working phone, I hard-reset and formatted. When I reboot it still sticks at the AT&T screen, with the 3 colums of orange letters on the bottom.
Did I do something wrong, and what can I do?
Thanks.
get back to the tri-screen bootloader (hardspl, turn the phone on, volumedownkey+centerbutton+reset) , reflash the rom...
Is your phone cdma? If so, then, yeah, you did something wrong.

The part where it says it will delete all information, ect. ect. and then it takes a few seconds and says restore complete VolUp to reboot?
I tried that and it yeilded the same results, and I just tried again now and it still sticks at the AT&T screen.

I should have specified, it's a GSM phone. The AT&T Fuze.
I also updated the OP with a working link, didn't realize it linked back to the ROM Development page. =/
Thanks for the suggestions though. I'm hoping I didn't do anything I'll regret, I can't afford to have an expensive paperweight right now.
go into bootloader (volume down and reset button) until u see the tri color screen. then connect the phone computer using ur usb cable and you should see something on the bottom of the screen that says "usb" now try flashing a ROM again.
flash the stock rom, then try reflashing the custom rom again!
Same thing happened to me with a Energy Rom so I just had to choose a different version of it and it worked
