All he wants to know is if there is a way to get cingular video to work on the 8125 if we use these roms
you are right tank27! But so far i didn't get any right answer.
I've got Cingular Video working on my Wizard!!!
I noticed when CUSTEL posted about possibly releasing his rom there was a link in his sig for a Cingular Cab. It takes you to this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=305897
I installed the CUSTEL Cingular Video cab and after making a few changes (the key is changing RealPlayer to connect to Media Net instead of Internet, and I just was able to watch a couple of videos off of Cingular Video. Very cool!
Thought of this thread so dug it up with search to let people know.
Now to install the full cab and see how the other stuff works
Thanks CUSTEL!

Has anyone got the MS Streaming Video to do anything? I'm sure it's user error, but I haven't been able to do anything with it. It apprars to need an RTSP site, but google hasn't turned up anything but explainations of how to code for it.
If you want to see it in action you can go to http://mobile.maxim.com and click on daily video...while your at it check out the "today's girl" better yet, make this your home page!

same here, failed to find network on T-Mobile USA BB plan. Works on my home network though.
i can go to this page, but once I click on watch video nothing happens.
Same thing here using NBD7.2, fails to connect to network..
damn you guys give up easily I was using the Cingular 8125 stock ROM and I tried it, and when I clicked to play the video it opened Windows Media Player and then said it couldn't open that video. So I decided yeah I guess I need TCPMP back again, but before I got around to it, I flashed XM6 ROM to my phone, and decided at work today to try m.youtube.com again and it worked just fine with Windows Media Player. I don't know what changed exactly but, hey ok It was neat, watched the Potter Pals one. haha.
I don't know about this fails to connect to network crap... maybe you should try following the links off of http://www.google.com/mobile and see if that helps.
hahaha,
my 9100 is recognized as an HTC P3300

Does anyone have the WM5 Video Streaming application???
I want to install it so I can be able to stream Live TV. I already looked into Meinsys thread regarding You Tube Video Streaming. I tried his application in there but it did not work.
Any other suggestions?

Did you also try the other links in the UPDATE sections? Some devices (for example, the Treo) need additional files.

NO I have not. I will read it again. The file you posted actually installed fine in my SD Card. It will not view You Tube for the same reason you mentioned in that thread.
What I am after is the actual WM5 Video application for PIE, because Kamal from the Universal forums created a nice WM5 ROM AKU 3.5. Unfortunately he took video streaming app out. As you know, without that app, there is no LIVE TV. I can hear sounds, but no picture since there is no viewer.

Does anyone have a working cab fil for Sprint TV that came from the Sprint TP2 Rom? I am running Mighty's CDMA Rhodium rom and would like to get a working Sprint TV and also working youtube application. (The youtube app will display thumbnails but will not play video when selected) . I cannot seem to find anyone who has these . I would like the Sprint TV so I can watch some of the NFL network Thursday night games as I do not have satellite. Any help is appreciated. Feel free to PM me if you might have some help or working cab.
Though I cannot speak to the Sprint TV Cab, if you can get CorePlayer, It is a well rounded media player (mp3, wav, etc, as well as many video formats). The latest version has Youtube Integrated, and, so far, it works fine.
Just a Suggestion.
I saw a thread over at ppcgeeks where a guy got Sprint TV working, but I think it requires a hard reset.
Here is the thread.

Sprint TV on TMO TP2??
Has anyone tested this Sprint tv cab in TMO US TP2?
not sure if its possible.
I'm looking for the youtube app as well...
I know this is an old thread, but wasn't sure where else to ask.
Does installing Sprint TV "break" Youtube for anyone else? I'm running the latest build of EnergyROM.
Thanks.
