Hi!
I read the wiki page and I searched on the forum but I did not find answer.
When I try to unlock the cid (I have a G3), the cmd screen give me this message:
"Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse? try restarting your device, or restart activesync"
What i have to do?
Thanks to all.
copy the files "EnableRapi" and "Cert_SPCS" to your device and run them (you can find them inside the folder "Utils".
Then run the "LokiwizMsl.bat" from your computer again and it should work.
This trick was already described in the sim unlock part of the wiki
but i've updated the cid unlock wiki with the info.
Hi!!
I still have that message. Could you check if i'm doing something wrong?
This is the guide from the wiki:
"Do the following :
- Copy the cab's from the Utils folder in the Lokiwiz03a.zip file to your Prophet and execute them (There are two files : "Cert_SPCS.cab" and "EnableRapi.cab")"
Sorry but this is not very clear because:
1) there aren't file called "Lokiwiz03a.zip"
2) Need I to do hard reset (or a soft reset) after execute that 2 files?
Please help me, I'm not the only one with that problem.
Thanks to all.

Sorry thats the file from the sim unlock part, I've changed the wiki
the files you need are in pdamobiz.com_downgrade_and_unlockcid.rar
Hi!!! Thanks for your update!
I run the 2 files from my machine without hardreset after that.
That solved the Downgrade.bat operation (i did not receive the "itsutils.dll error") but it didn't work with the Cidunlock.bat command.
With the cidunlock.bat command I had the classic error and this one too from the cmd screen:
"CopyFileToTFFS(acidunlocked.bin:0, 0, 00010000)
ERROR: ITWriteDisk - internal error"
After that I made the last experiment.
I tried to update the rom without unlock the cid and I discovered with the Italian Prophet you don't have to unlock the cid.
So I solve my problem!! Thanks to all!
I hope to help someone with this post!
Easy fix to the "Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version..." error
1. Use prapi.exe to query value of 4097.
D:>prapi.exe -q -p 4097
Default is "2"
2. Use prapi.exe to set value of policy 4097 to "1"
D:\>prapi.exe -p 4097 1
Explanation :
4097
0x1001 RAPI Policy The Remote API (RAPI) policy restricts the access of remote applications that are using RAPI to implement ActiveSync operations on mobile devices.
0 ActiveSync service is shut down. RAPI calls are rejected.
1 Full access to ActiveSync is provided. RAPI calls are allowed to process without restrictions.
2 Access to ActiveSync is restricted to the SECROLE_USER_AUTH (User Authenticated) role. RAPI calls are checked against this role mask before they are granted. ( default )

Ok finally i managed to unlock the issue was the pc I used a different pc no problem 2 minutes and I have got the key

Then, I just try invoking pdocread manually, regardless of what command line argument I put, or no argument at all, the response is always the same " ERROR: Unable to open WinCE file '\windows' - Returned by WSARecv or WSARecvFrom to indicate the remote party has initiated a graceful shutdown sequence."
From ActiveSync, I do see \windows, but as a directory, not a file. Anyone got any inside or suggestions?
Opening a directory sounds so trivial, what is it trying to do?
PLease, please help! Thank you so much!!!

Hey hey,
As my thread indicates my question is about the FTouchFlo Configuration Tool and the HTC Cube. Please, bear with me while I explain my process of failure.
A few weeks ago, I installed the HTC Cube and it was working great. I happened upon these forums and found the Config. Tool. So, I installed it. It worked great!
Then, I found SCLPC. I uninstalled the HTC Cube, and installed SCLPC. While it is a nice program, I decided it was not for me at this time. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled HTC Cube and the FTouchFlo Configuration Tool again.
Unfortunately, now the Down-Up gesture is running the application "/Windows/saplaywm.exe" and under Command line parameters: it says, "/Program Files/SCLPF/Version 1-00.swf" which apparently-please correct me if I'm wrong-attempts to call up the SCLPC program.
The Config program and HTC Cube were working together before I tried out SCLPC. Somehow whatever command line in the Config program which called up the HTC Cube is no longer there. So, if I enable the FTouchFlo Configuration Tool, the Down-Up gesture no longer calls up HTC Cube, but that means I won't be able to use the Config program and it's Exclusions list, which is exactly why I installed it.
My question [finally ] is this: Does anyone know the correct command lines that I should input in my Config Tool? Maybe you can find it in your phone and display them for me? Also, does anyone know how to display any parameters available to a program in my phone?
Example:
For those of us that use or used DOS, remember how we used to type a command line like "Copy /?" in DOS and it would show you a screen like:
Copies one or more files to another location.
COPY [/D] [/V] [/N] [/Y | /-Y] [/Z] [/L] [/A | /B ] source [/A | /B]
[+ source [/A | /B] [+ ...]] [destination [/A | /B]]
source Specifies the file or files to be copied.
/A Indicates an ASCII text file.
/B Indicates a binary file.
/D Allow the destination file to be created decrypted
destination Specifies the directory and/or filename for the new file(s).
/V Verifies that new files are written correctly.
/N Uses short filename, if available, when copying a file with a
non-8dot3 name.
/Y Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an
existing destination file.
/-Y Causes prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an
existing destination file.
/Z Copies networked files in restartable mode.
/L If the source is a symbolic link, copy the link to the target
instead of the actual file the source link points to.
Thanks ahead of time guys for your help!

Thanks but again i get new error so can u help me some
If you are getting that error, it means that eitherJava is not installed, or is not in your path.
If Java is not installed, go to java.com to install the most recent version of the JRE.
If you're sure you have already installed Java ensure the Java executable is in your system's path. You can do this by first finding the directory it is installed in. For example, mine is installed in C:\Program Files\Java\jre6. The executables are located in the bin directory.
In order to set your path (Assuming Windows Vista), go to Start -> Control Panel -> System, then click on the 'Advanced System Settings' link on the left, then the 'Environment Variables' button. In the lower section (Labeled 'System Variables'), scroll through and find the item labeled 'Path' and double click it. In the field labeled 'Variable value' go to the end and add a semicolon (, and then the path your installation of Java is located. Using the example I gave above, I would have added ;C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin to the end of the line.
The procedure for 64-bit Windows Vista or Windows 7 is the same, except the text you will add to the Path variable is ";C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin". Notice there is still a semi-colon at the beginning of the line.
Once you have done this, you will need to close and reopen the command prompt if it is already open, and you should be able to run java without getting this error message.

I have the same problem. I executed java -version from the xUltimate directory and got java version 1.7.0_05, so I know there is no problem actually executing java, but for some reason the xUltimate can't find java.

You got to able to run java -version from any directory, not just the xUltimate dir. If that's not happening and if java is already installed you need to add path to the jre/jdk bin folder in the system path environment variable. Please have a look at the posts above, I think someone already explained in detail.

Thanks for trying to help. I had already verified, and I reverified, that I can execute java from every directory. Your post did get me thinking, so I checked the path variable and determined that it was running the java.exe in the C:/windows/system32 directory. I also had a directory C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07\bin with java in it.
The problem I was seeing is caused some MS shenanigans with how they map the disk drives. The java.exe is not really located in the Windows/system32 folder but it does appear to be when using file explorer. They have some kind of redirection that maps the java from the program files/java/jdk1.7.0_07/bin directory into the windows\system32 directory, only this works for some programs and not for others. For instance I can see Windows/system32/java.exe in File explorer, and can see and execute it from the command line, but winMerge can't see it. I am guessing that xUltimate also can't see it.
Bottom line here is that if you have the missing java problem, it is not enough to be able to execute java from the command line, you need to make sure your path links to the executable in the java directory. Hope this helps anyone else coming across this problem
in my case...
