MortRing
I read it but I could not find any help.
:?
Thanks
Mortring uses the default \Windows\Rings folder for the ringtones. You can copy all the ringtones to this folder and they will display as selections in mortring.
Or you can modify the registry entry and put them anywhere you want:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring

How to make Storage Card\My Documents as Word's default save folder?

The question sounds to be silly, I know. Using my previous PDA - Qtek S100 - it was automatic. When I changed the Word's default 'Save to:' folder to 'Storage Card' the next new document was saved into the 'Storage Card\My Documents' folder.
But I switched to Artemis. I like it very much but simply can't make Word and Notes programs use the 'Storage Card\My Documents' folder. They do save the docs to the Card but always to the root directory. In case of Excel I found the right string in the registry and changed it, and it works! But I have no idea what to modify in case of Word or Notes.
Is it a WM5 speciality that the system does not recognize the 'Storage Card\My Documents' folder as an "official" one? (S100 runs 2003 SE, so I'got little experience with WM5 yet.)
Please help me if anyone knows a solution or workaround.
Thanks in advance,
ctibor
Nobody has any hint?
exactly what i m looking too! same like u, i found the key for excel but not for words and notes. i googled around but found nothing about it.
I am glad not being alone
It may encourage the more experienced mates of the forum, with in-deepth knowledge of WM5, to deal with the problem.
being full of hope
let me push the thread a little bit upper

Midlet Manager wanted)

Hi there,
lost my Midlet. Don't want to hard reset though. Any idea where I can find a replacement?
By the way, I couldn't manage to install Opera Mini with MM(. Do I need any other than MM software to cope with it?
Hi yura1961,
Please visit the ftp & browse through the ext-rom dumps for a mm-cab you like.
An other even more convient way is to connect your magician to your pc with act.sync. Then browse to your \windows folder and create a shortcut in your startup folder pointing to \windows\loadvdisk.exe. After a soft-reset the ext-rom should be visible.
Cheers, M

Hebrew for I-Mate 2020 on WM5

Hey all.
If you want to install eyron hebrew for the I-Mate 2020 ( XDA II , QTEK ) the only version that worked out for me was:
Eyron Hebrew for WM5 5.10.02 Good Fairy
However, I had to do several things to make it work right:
1) I only manged to make it work on AKU 3.50b.40CS that can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=287941
I couldn't get it to work with the newer 3.50c version.
2)The Eyron hebrew must be installed on the devices memory (The first one in the list: not the storage card, and not on the ramdisk!!)
In fact, every time eyron's installer asks you where to put it's files, I think you must select that devices memory, althow it is the smallest size of all memory storages.
3) I am not sure whether it is important but when installing AKU 3.50b.40CS, i didn't put the "EXTROM" folder on my SD card as instructed ( So after installing, it didn't autorun the programs in the EXTROM folder.
--- BTW, if you want to enlarge the storage from 14 meg to 30 meg, read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=340339
--- If after installing eyron hebrew you have problem access the keypad, after dialing a number, you can rename the file named tapres.dll.040d.mui located in your windows directory, and the problem is solved.
--- There is a great PIM manager, called "WebIS' Pocket Informant" which is much better than the default PIM manager. It enabled things like multi-line tasks and callendar events. ( Meaning that when your task description is too long to fit in one line, it will show the task or callendar event in two or even more lines!! Just like I got used at my old Palm Vx ! ).
and best of all : It also supports hebrew ( download the hebrew install package ).
**** If someone can help me find a proggie that will display Battery realtime usage in mA or mVolt, I would very appriciate it. The question threadis posted here: LINK
Good luck!
HimaHebrew
Hi, thanks for the info. Are you talking Hebrew only, hebrew-engrish translation(and visa versa) or option to only use either hebrew or engrish. cheers
After you install the eyron program, you can choose you user interface to be fully hebrew, or english with hebrew enabled.

Creating folders with icon image

Are there any tutorials on creating sub folders in "Programs" that have a icon image associated with them (like the Office folder)?
Moving thread to Q&A section. In the future please post Questions there.
Sub folders
Hi
Start Menu program folders are within the main "Programs" folder here:
\Windows\Start Menu\Programmes\Office Mobile"
for example. You can use software like Total Commander to go to this folder and create new folders for programmes. Basically you need to create a new folder then create a new shortcut in that folder called icon.lnk. The short cut shoud read "1#\XXX\YYY.dll,-ZZZ" without the quotes where XXX location of the .dll or .exe that contains your icon, YYY is the name of the .dll or .exe and ZZZ is the number of the icon resource within the .dll or .exe file.
Check out the link "Start Menu Customisation" in my signature. If you need more help then please post back.
