I have i-mate K-JAM. I need to downgade my phone rom..
thats my specification.
( i'm sure its G4 )

RADIO VER. 02.07.10
EXTROM VER: 2.16.101
extremely i need help.
i have "K-JAM_WWE_1010903_106_10110_ship.exe " i don't know how can i upload that rom to my phone..
You can't downgrade to an 1.x rom on a G4. You will brick you're device. Just wondering.... why do you want to downgrade?
indeed the rom you have is already pretty old and crappy why do you want an older crappier rom on there?
because i could not use my phone in this country. Its blocked. if i can downgrade my rom, can i change what i need ?

is your IMEI blocked? if so changing the rom won't do crap.
Downgrading for Upgrading
Dear friends. I recently installed a game named Assassin's Creed on my K Jam. When ever I play this game or other games I get white screen of death after 15 minutes. I want to upgrade my Rom to WM 6.1 for this reason. I have currently WM 5. Now the problem is that my phone is G4. It can't be cid unlocked. I have even used Hard SPL. Soft SPL. Every program from lockiwiz to some cab files. I can't unlock the damn cid. Now what can I do. I have read that there is a rom called CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe. Is this an old rom which I could downgrade to? Can it be downgraded in G4. Please Help! I am in great trouble. The errors I get when upgrading are sometimes This Rom can't be upgraded please hard reset and try again. Error 629 or something. And anohter rom gives a message you mk.mbf file is older so this rom can't be upgraded. Error 600 I think. Thanx in Advance.

Wait for 10 hours and I will be uploading my new and latest ROM.
Do not think about downgrading the G4 device. You will brick you're device
Do these steps to flash the ROM :
This guide is only for G4 device and flash in windows xp. Plz make sure that your device is G4 and has not flashed to hardspl. Check this link
1. Download softspl from here : Link
2. Download any ROM for HTC Wizard : My ROM
3. Extract softspl and The ROM.
4. Go to extracted folder of the ROM and copy nk.nbf file.
5. Go to extracted folder of the softspl and paste the nk.nbf file*.
6. Connect your HTC Wizard and make sure activesync is fully connected.
7. Run START-sSPL.exe from softspl folder.
6. Wait till it ends to 100%.
7. Dos windows closes and ruu will be opened.
8. Take a look on you wizard screen that the screen should be fully white and no active led on top of the device.
9. If step 8 is correct then you continue to flash the ROM. Follow the RUU instruction to flash the ROM.
Note : *nk.nbf and START-sSPL.exe files should be side-by-side.
At unknown percents RUU may hang but you do not afraid or disconnect the device. Wait for some time it will surely complete the flashing.

Ok Don't bother. i uninstalled it. I am downloading a rom. Then I will download your rom. Cause the previous rom download was started last night. My internet service got expired so I resumed the download today. By the grace of God I will do it.

Both the programs 'SoftSPL' and 'HardSPL' are invented by the same very valuable member ' the-equinoxe ' and are posted as Stickies in the G4 forum with clear instructions/heading that its meant for G4 devices.Its strange you cudn't differentiate it as G3 or G4,only if you wud have read it and understood it,instructions are very much crystal clear.Thousands and thousands have benefited from these programs and applications,there's nothing confusing about it.Strange!!!

Dear I was making a mistake. First it didn't tell to copy the nk.nbf file to the soft spl folder in that post as far as I can remember. Secondly I was installing the rom after taking out battery when white screen comes and then trying to install it through bootloader. That was confusing. And the instructions got jumbled up at that time. I mentioned G3 catogrization according to other posts in which bootloader way is instructed but it is only for G3 and not G4. Where as in G4 we have to install rom while the white screen is there and that should also be through the nk.nbf file which we copy from the rom folder to soft spl folder. THis thing was not clearly written in the rest of the posts. This is what I was talking about. As it is my first flashing. So I faced these problems. Anyways this way or that way I got my objective and that is the thing which means to me most. All the people of previous posts as well as this user have contributed so all get credit. Cheers. Placing nk.nbf in the SpftSPL folder is only required while flashing through SoftSPL method,this is a temporary method,you'll always have to use or flash through SoftSPL,but if you apply HardSPL,the phone is Semi-Permanent CID unlocked and remains like this untill you personally don't remove HardSPL.With HardSPL,you just flash and upgrade in Bootloaders like an official stock rom or as in G3,thats the difference in SoftSPL and HardSPL.Yes! a G4 device can be Flashed/upgraded through Bootloaders.BTW,sSPL is a bootloader too
I'll suggest,you reread the SoftSPL sticky again.Regarding instructions in the SoftSPL sticky, I quote:-
"USE AT OWN RISK
How To use?
If you don't know what a G4 safe ROM is, don't even try to upgrade!
WILL NOT WORK IN VISTA
-Unzip SoftSPL.zip

Buddy. I was talking of that stupid multi colored boot loader. Although I have no problem with the developer or his product. But I want to ask one question. IF things get done with soft SPL then whats the need of Hard SPL. I mean to hell with permanent semi cid unlocking. just relax fool the G4 for sometime get the job done and thats it. Anyways. You win and I loose. Man. They were clear and I was blind. Hhahhahhahah
Ok now here is a problem which I have been facing since I bought my K Jam. Dear. Tell me that can I assign the asterisk button * key to any soft key. Because some games like Assassin's Creed are not recognizing the asterisk key so if by some registry hack will it be possible to re assign that key so that the game may recognize it. OR is there any emulator for games which can assign the control keys?

Which is your device,G3 or G4 ? and which rom is working on it at present.YES! its always possible to revert back to official rom and Bootloaders (IPL/SPL),only the method differs for both the devices.

Hi,
Your device is already flashed to hardspl so do not flash any official ROM's Or you will surely brick your device. Which is the maker of your wizard?
Short details of hardspl :
ipl 2.21.0001
spl 2.21.olip ( Is known as hardspl )
Follow these steps to remove hardspl:
1. Download Qtek 9100 G4 Main IPl&SPL.zip which is attached below. ( Do no worry, this zip is for all th G4 Device which have 2.21.0001 SPL/IPL )
2. Download softspl from here : Link
3. Extract softspl and the provided zip file.
4. Go to extracted folder of the Qtek 9100 G4 Main IPl&SP and copy nk.nbf file.
5. Go to extracted folder of the softspl and paste the nk.nbf file*.
6. Connect your wizard and make sure your activesync is fully connected.
7. Run START-sSPL.exe from softspl folder.
6. Wait till the dos windows apps ends to 100%.
7. Dos windows closes and ruu will be opens.
8. Take a look on you wizard screen, that the screen should be fully white and no active led on top of the device ( I mean network led, power led, wifi led or bluetooth led).
9. If step 8 is OK then you continue to flash the spl/ipl. Follow the RUU instruction to flash the ROM.
10. It completes in 1 - 2 min. Till then do not disconnect or open any softwares. Keep it mind that, your flashing spl/ipl and if something goes wrong, you will surely brick your device )
11. Now you removed hardspl.
Note : *nk.nbf and START-sSPL.exe files should be side-by-side.
Steps for flashing official ROM:
1. Download the official ROM ( Note the official ROM should be the same maker of your device. I mean, If you have a qtek 9100 then you should download qtek official ROM.
2. Extract the official ROM which you have downloaded.
3. Run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
4. Now you can continue to flash the ROM.
5. Thats all, Now you have the official wm5 ROM.
At unknown percents RUU may hang but you do not afraid or disconnect the device. Wait some time it will surely omplete the flashing.
Warning :
* Before flashing, make sure you have ups for the pc.
* Use windows xp.
* Before flashing, make sure you have not running any background software.

Ok,no problem,as your phone is HardSPL,first remove HardSPL,reflash back to official original Bootloaders(IPL/SPL) and then afterwards reflash the official stock rom with which your phone came,its all very easy,just read and follow this link :-

And,just don't worry about the old Radio Rom or old IPL/SPL,as its permissible to upgrade by the carrier,just tell them,if they ask,that you upgraded to latest IPL/SPL and Radio Rom,they won't bother.
Its only the Custom Rom and CID unlock they object to,as long as official stock rom is working and G4 devices don't get CID unlocked,it'll show as CID locked,therefore,they have no objection.

I've got a lot of post behind my name, but most of my posts are answers to the same questions over and over again. It seems very hard for "noobs" to find the answer to their question quickly on the forum. I quickly wrote a little step by step tutorial for them. Hope it helps!
Suggestions or corrections are always welcome.
You want to flash your wizard, but don't know where to start. Try this:
0. First determine if you got a G3 or a G4 device. When you turn on your device from can can see you're IPL and SPL version on the screen. If you got IPL/SPL 1.xx or 2.xx you've got a G3 device. If the IPL/SPL shows 2.xx.xxx1 you've got a G4. Go to step G3.1 if you got a G3 and G4.1 if G4.
G3.1 Does you're device start normally (yes) or is it stuck on the three-colored bootloader screen (no)? YES... go to step G3.5, NO go to step G3.2
G3.2 Turn off you're device totaly. Remove the SD card and disconnect the USB cable from you're device. Turn on the device while holding the camera button. You will get into bootloader mode (3 colored screen). Connect the USB cable to the computer and you will see USB at the bottom of your screen above the left softkey (Activesync will not connect in bootloader mode, but you can flash from this screen!). If you got IPL/SPL 1.xx go to G3.3. If you got 2.xx go to G3.4
G3.3 Download button rom and flash it to your device. Your device should startup again after doing this. Go to G3.5.
G3.4 Download wizard_love rom and flash it to your device. Your device should startup again after doing this. Go to G3.5.
G3.5 Is your device CID-unlocked (note: it's not the same as SIM-unlocked!)? YES... go to step G3.7, NO OR DON'T KNOW go to step G3.6.
G3.6 Follow this great thread by Dr Puttingham: The Definitive Guide to Unlocking & Rom Upgrading G3 Wizards. Don't skip step 17! Flash the T-Mobile 2.26 Rom! Go to step G3.8 if you got the T-Mobile rom with IPL/SPL 2.26 on your device after doing this.
NOTE: Some people seem to have problem with flashing the button rom in this step (stops at 98% with error 302). Replace button_rom with Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102 and follow the rest of the steps normally when this happens!
G3.7 Download T-Mobile 2.26 rom and flash it to your device! Done? Go to step G3.8.
G3.8 You're reade to flash the AKU2, AKU3, WM6 rom of you're choise! It wasn't that hard, was it? If you still got an older OS version after flashing then you're not CID-unlocked! Go back to start!

G4.1 Does you're device start normally (yes) or is it stuck on the three-colored bootloader screen (no)? YES... go to step G4.4, NO go to step G4.2
G4.2 Turn off you're device totaly. Remove the SD card and disconnect the USB cable from you're device. Turn on the device while holding the camera button. You will get into bootloader mode (3 colored screen). G4.3 Download wizard_love rom and flash it to your device. Your device should startup again after doing this. Go to G4.4.
G4.4 Is your device CID-unlocked (note: it's not the same as SIM-unlocked!)? YES... go to step G4.7, NO OR DON'T KNOW go to step G4.5. (note: CID-unlocking a G4 is only possible by paying for it at imei-check!)
G4.5 Download enable-rapi.zip. Transfer Cert_SPCS.cab and EnableRapi.cab to your phone. Run Cert_SPCS.cab FIRST and EnableRapi.cab SECOND. Turn your device off and on or wait 5 minutes before soft resetting. Done? Go to G4.6.
G4.6 Follow this great thread by the-equinoxe: [solution] G4 SoftSPL Flash any ROM to CID locked G4 [UPDATED] and load the softSPL on your device using his method. Make sure you take a G4 safe rom (see the thread for details). After the steps you'll have the rom of your choise on your device!
G4.7 You're reade to flash the AKU2, AKU3, WM6 rom of you're choise IF the rom DOESN'T contain IPL/SPL. AKU3 and WM6 roms normally don't contain IPL/SPL. If you want to flash an AKU2 rom, make sure you take the G4 version. If you get an error 300 (invalid update tool) while trying to flash your device look at this thread!
NOTE: If you tried to flash a G3 rom with IPL/SPL in the rom on a G4 you probably will have a bricked device! DON'T flash the new 3.08 and 3.09 IPL/SPL to your G4!
NOTE2: If you got problems flashing with softSPL: Follow this great thread by mun_rus: Solutuion found: how to flash any rom to CIDLOCKED DEVICE. If your device won't start after flashing you can use step G4.2 and G4.3 and try again. Also look at this thread by eddieitman: Faria G4 Step by step installer with instructions to make sure you did all the necessary steps!

One thing I've found is since the Mods split the WM6 stuff to a seperate forum a lot of noobs are in that forum and they don't see the stickies over here now (I've had a couple PM me directly asking where this Wizard Upgrading forum is at that I refer to in my posts ). So I think we need some stickies like this or something in the WM6 forum (or a sticky at the top of that forum with a pointer to this forum and maybe certain posts over here).

I found this solution much better than shelltool for flashing my G4 CID-locked Wizard:

Shelltool can only flash the OS while using this modified RUU you can task the OS, splash screen, and the radio. Plus this modified RUU will also flash Wizards that do not bootup normally.
You can't flash a touched OS that way in a CID-locked G4.... only some 2.26 roms will work. Trying this with WM6 will go to 100%, but you're "old" OS will startup again.
Say i downgrade my phone to the T-mobile ROM but have a cingular phone...do i need to have my phone SIM unlocked to use it or since i changed ROMS it doesn't matter...

SIM Unlocking only allows you to use SIMs from a different carrier on your phone.
CID Unlocking allows you to flash different Carrier / Country roms on your phone.
If you are only CID Unlocked, you can flash Tmobile, Cingular, Qtek, etc on your phone, but your device will still connect to the same carrier that your SIM is setup for. So for me, I'm on Cingular. I flashed the TMobile 2.26 ROM and I have the complete TMobile look and feel, but my carrier and phone connection was still Cingular since thats what the SIM is for.
I always flash the TMobile 2.26 rom on my phone now before upgrading to a new custom ROM. Its more stable (IMO) than the CIngular 2.25 (at least numerous issues I used to have went away by doing this, but then the custom ROM may be really fixing that, but I like having the latest IPL/SPL for my base).
As always... YMMV

Its more stable (IMO) than the CIngular 2.25 (at least numerous issues I used to have went away by doing this, but then the custom ROM may be really fixing that, but I like having the latest IPL/SPL for my base).

Good question.... have you flashed T-Mobile rom before? If you haven't you will get the strong 2.26 IPL/SPL. It prevents many problems! This step is to prevent people to upgrade to WM6 with other IPL/SPL!

You want to downgrade so that it cleans up things that are possibly left from a previous install. The Official ROMs have everything (IPL / SPL / OS / Radio / Extended ROM / etc). If you go straight from a custom rom to another custom rom you may find you have stuff left over because the new custom rom doesn't clean up everything. I've seen where things are left in the message queue, so you start getting pop errors about not finding something when that was on the previous ROM.
While it takes extra time, flashing back to an official rom gives you a clean base for the custom rom to work off of. Well worth it for me so I always do this. Takes an extra 15 mins or so, which is better than wasting a day chasing some issue that wouldn't have been there.
BTW: Congrats on getting your post promoted to a Sticky!

Good question. I don't have a G4, but I'd think the same would hold true to get a stable / clean base for the new custom rom.

NO! that rom has IPL/SPL in it. Don't try flashing this rom onto a G4! It could brick your device!

Can you please update the first post so that when you tell people to get to the bootloader screen that Activesync will NOT connect, but if it says USB above the left softkey that it is connected? This is something I've had to tell people over and over. People see that activesync doesn't connect so they stop and don't go any further.

Right click the RUU that you run and extract the files in it, you´ll find a Word doc file that probably you should´ve read before....! Wizard Love or your original ROM will take you out of the tricolor screen, good luck!

There are already step by step guides - read them. If you can't find them, read them, and understand them, then don't flash your ROM. There's an entire board dedicated to the G4 version, but I guess you didn't see it.

DON'T CID UNLOCK YOUR PHONE USING LOKIWIZ . YOU WILL BRICK IT !!!
You have a G4 and it can be unlocked only by http://www.imei-check.co.uk/
You don't necessarily need to unlock it. It's easy. This are the stepps to follow :
1. Search for "Wizard Love ROM"
2. Download it and flash it using RUU.
3. Wait untill it's flashed and the customisation is finished !!!!
4. If you want to flash to a custom ROM, just download a rom of your choice
5. Extract the nk.nbf using WinRar or similar.
6. Download ShellTool
7. IMPORTANT !!! Read SHELL TOOL Readme and follow exactly to proper flash your phone
8. Enjoy !

We still need to know for sure whether you have a G3 or G4. You say you have a G4, but your IPL/SPL ends in 001, which is a G3. A G4 chip will have 3 zeroes -- not 2 zeroes.
So, which is it for sure?? You can't do anything until that gets cleared up.

Ok, i Flashed my device with "wizard_love rom" & now i can able to start my PDA but after configuring screen, my PDA stucks at Pop-up menus Window, i can still able to connect with Active Sync on my PC.
Pls help me to move forward.

That information was taken directly from this thread. It's the same thread I refer people to in order for them to find out if they have a G3 or G4. If it's wrong, I'm sitting here with egg on my face. . .

Do a hard reset. (hold the comm manager button and the voice speed dial and press the reset button. when asked, press send and it will format.)
Don't cancel the customisation.
@newbie2 now i am confused
@htcwizard123 What did you do ? Who was right ?
Is hard reset is required after flashing the PDA ? I was stuck on POP up menu screen but when i follow the instruction for Cut & Paste it booted normally
I have let completed all the setting to load & again the PAD restarted normally.
Pls let me know if i do the hard reset ?

No hard reset needed if it's all good. But troubles me ...how could you select the pop up menu before the cut/paste....tutorial appeared...??
Also...you must be lucky that you didn't brick your phone. So next time, think twice and flash only after you're sure that you know what you're doing.
Remember : Don't flash anything that contains IPL/SPL !!! (a G3 bootloader will brick your G4. And from now on flash using ShellTool or unlock your device via www.imei-check.co.uk - that will cost you some money)

Hi guys,
I've just implemented a Vox USPL which allows you to flash any Vox ROM updates, i.e. you can flash any *official* ROM even if your phone's model and vendor ID doesn't match. It's confirmed that you can also flash cooked ROMs
This SPL is based on original Vox 1.16 SPL but includes 3 patches:
1) g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = 0 (set 32)
2) Does not check Model & Vendor ID
3) Does not check signature*
(*) code must be formally signed i.e. contain properly-formatted signatures on the right places, however no checking is performed against them.
This means you can flash ANY ROM to your Vox after running USPL on it, no need to pay for CID unlock anymore!
The USPL will *not* help you to SIM unlock your device. You still have to pay for that.
The USPL runs in RAM and is *not* flashed to your device, so there is no risk there. Once it runs you can run any official Vox ROM update utility.
The USPL does *not* permanently CID unlock your phone, like the CID unlocker from imei-check or so.
After you flashed a ROM your phone is again CID locked. Each time you wonna flash a ROM with a different model and/or vendor ID (different from your phone) or a cooked ROM, you must run the USPL again and then flash the ROM.
It's beta and untested and the risk is entirely yours !! Don't blame me if you brick your phone
EDIT:
You can now also flash the USPL allowing you to flash any unsigned (cooked ROM or ROM module, e.g. radio or OS) or signed ROM with any model/vendor ID. The USPL substitutes your SPL until you perform a full ROM update. Consider it as an extra insurance in case something goes wrong with flashing cooked ROMs or any other ROM update !
Instructions:
1. Run the USPL (Vox USPL- CID BYPASS.zip)
2. Run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe (Vox-USPL-RUU.zip)

what the difference between sim unlock and cid unlock?
This can be found in various threads around here, anyway.
SIM Lock - You can't use a SIM from a different provider than the one who sold you the phone.
CID-Lock - You can't flash your phone with a ROM which hasn't been cooked by your provider (or manufacturer for HTC unbranded phones).

anyone online right now wanna drop me a line about this... what do I do exactly with the ruu file. Do I place rom image in that folder while runnning update???
so i followed the instructions and executed the cid bypass(installed itsutils and haret). once i get to the end it says use mtty or flash with RUU. so I attempt to flash right after (am I supposed to flash while the screen is black) but its gives me a connections error. I figure its because the phone is off. So I turn it on and update with the RUU again but only make it to 3% before I get a invalid vendor id. Would anyone care to comment on how I can flash this vox to the dopod rom...

I always thought that HTC were already application unlocked. Was going crazy for a while but I guess I should've followed the instructions step-by-step regardless of what I thought.
Big up to jockyw2001(and of course pof for without him alot of us would still be using shipped rom) for this wicked tool.

I only got this phone so I could upgrade it for a friend to stop the boot loop. It seems to have fixed that problem so I guess it's better than the other roms. On the other hand I can't stand smartphone's so my suggestion is to ditch your SP and switch to PPC . Also I read before hand that this ROM doesn't include Windows Live Messenger but it is included in the rom. Just thought I'd let u guys know.

Just ran into another problem and would appreciate some input. I understand that USPL only works for one flash...but I wasn't aware that a hard reset counted as a flash. Regardless my device hung at the dopod boot screen after a hard reset. Is this normal after using USPL on a device, and if so does this occur with all devices??? I would hate to give a phone back and have to tell the person that they can't perform a hard reset...

If you flash a full ROM the SPL is overwritten with the one in the ROM (Dopod = 1.19). Nothing to do with USPL. Booting can take a long time after hard reset. Unplug battery and try again.

Thanks, I got it to work eventually...Good to know USPL doesn't effect hard resets, I guess you learn something new everyday.
If I had to take a guess before hand I'd figure a SP would boot faster than a PPC, but I realize now that I'd be wrong...

thought I fixed the problem. seems as if after a day it just hangs at the dopod screen. It was working fine everytime I had it. As soon as I give it back it seems to hang. Guess ima just flash it back to the HTC rom, too much hassle for just $20.

I made up a new version of pof's USPL, which is explicitly for the ELFIN 128/256 MB devices. So now you can flash SPL in step three without bricking your ELFIN, as USPL for ELF used to do.
This version is based on the ELFIN 2.20.0000 SPL and was patched the same way as USPL for ELF.

I received a "corrupt image error" at step 3, i rebooted the device and is working fine like nothing has happened, any clues?
I have this ROM installed:

IPL 2.20.0002 and SPL 2.20.0000 both remain unchanged after running elfin-uspl.exe

I bought my cellphone from Vietnam, and it is unlocked. It is windows 6 prof, and I am very serious about flashing my baby to 6.1. When I was in Vietnam, I was using VietTel, t-Mobile, and in Mexico using Telcel.
BUT I bricked my iMate Sp3i before, and didn't want(CAN'T afford) to brick another one.
The question would be.

after runnig 2 steps successfully in pof's app, if rom update fails then i think it does not brick all the time.. atleast not 99% !!
is SPL temporary updated means after some update again CID is locked?
or it is permanent?

Try with a hard-reset, some users get white screen after hard-reseting the device.
and remove SDHC memory card if you have it.

ok.. so it is done on my elfin... so i think.. didnt show me any errors... the ruu worked like a chram too and at last it showed me "Congratulations" but my question is how do i confirm if the cid is really unlocked... i dont wanna flash a good rom and get my touch bricked
Edit: it worked finally and i think my elfin should now be unlocked

Hello guys I have One problem. When I follow the steps for flash for my new rom I can't Continue. I press Next , Next step by step when I arrive to finish mirror where is the Image Version , there was not signed Image version there was empty I try with "Love Script" and Skynet "TechTeamup_Manila2D_NSN__v1.00_HTCWizard" I want flash my Qtek 9100 G3 with 6.5 rom with manila and touch flow. Can anybody help me ? How I can upgrade my phone to 6.5 now I am with 2005 version. There is System information WIZA200.

If you want an English WM6.5 with Manila 2D, the choices are CR96 (in my signature) or one of Haseeb's Tech Teamup ROMs. Neither are very new, but Wizard ROM development is mostly stopped.
If you want German, the Cyberdyne is probably a very good ROM. He has been developing for a very long time. I don't know because I only speak one language, English.
sory for my bad English I try to install Manila 2D rom but in finish mirror where is the "Your rom is bla bla bal ... " will be changed with new rom version " rom version ..." and there was have one signed "Your new rom version is : " and there was empty . In readmi screenshots I see there was anything as "Your new rom version is : 1.20.1 " but when I try to install new rom in my mirror there is empty. I was install english rom version with manila . I try to flash my Phone with different rom. Everything Finish right but after hard reset with new rom old rom was start. I can't change my rom with 6.5 . I was flash my phone with one 6.5 from this forum step by step everything is right and in finish when I make master reset with new Windows mobile it was old rom not 6.5 which I install on my phone. I believe you were able to run RUU and it claimed to be successful, but when you booted your phone, you had the old ROM. It sounds like perhaps your phone is not unlocked.
First determine if it is G3 or G4, then follow the instructions:
G3: here
G4: here
Maybe you were already following the instructions for G3, but you have a G4, so the instructions did not work. Read the beginning of the instructions carefully and determine whether G3 or G4 by the SPL version number.
Many of the older ROMs can still be downloaded, if you go back many pages in the forum. But first you want any ROM. After that succeeds you can choose by experimentation.

I see my phone and SPL and IPL last number is similar as " 1.27.17 " . I read any tutorials and I think my phone is G3 and I think it is CID unlocked how I understand is this phone CID unlocked and how I can unlock it ?? And any worker links for 6.5 roms with manila and touchflo .

Yes, you have a G3.
Perhaps it is still CID locked.
Try following the instructions again from the beginning.

Hello , again. I make CID unlocking in my computer which is with Windows 7 everything continued Ok step by step as in this link :

But in this link 1.05 ROM is missing , I think this unlocking can make with not this rom. I continue with steps after number 4. I make everything and it is finish Right. But when I install new rom CR96 Everything is old. I see again only 2005 rom . I will make this unlocking again on Windows XP . Do you think this method will be successful for CID unlocking ??
