I noticed something today that may be a bug.
I was calling home and the phone was busy, buy I heard the busy-tone over my 8525's speaker. Tried again and the same thing happened. Did a soft reset and it happened again. When they hanged up at home, the call went as it was supposed, nothing strange.
A few minutes ago, I tested the phone, and the same thing happened: when the number I'm triyng to call is busy, the call goes through the speakerphone.
I have the phone for over a month now and it had never happened before.
Anyone had experienced the same before? any clues?

i had the same issue. i was just too lazy to post about it. my issue occured before the first update came out. then it stopped. i havnt had the issue with the rc30.
mine did this during a call, on a black version
any solutions maybe? lol
RC29, my phone vibrated and when I opened it it was rebooting.
When it came back up, it showed that I had gotten a text right before the reboot... dunno if its related. The timestamp was a couple of minutes prior, but I hadn't noticed it.
Ok so i flashed my phone to JB 4.1.1 about 1-2 months ago. It didnt connect to wifi, and i couldnt talk to anyone on the phone. Then i cleared cache and hthe wifi problem went away. but the calling issue didnt. the day jb 4.2.1 came out, my phone went into a boot loop. idk why. it just did, so i checked for any updates and i saw that jb 4.2.1 has been released. so i flashed to that. but the bootloop issue keeps happening and when i call some one or someone calls me i cant hear them. they can hear me but i cant hear them. PLEASE HELP !
Odd as it sounds, a lot of weird problems, bootloops and random reboots in particular, went away for me after I cleaned out the power button. I didn't even need to do a full disassembly. Just got it open enough that I could blast a few quick shots of compressed air at the button.
So, I have this android phone for one month, and today this "problem" occured. I was watching youtube when phone beeped and restarted? It didn't happend again,... Do you know what seems to be the problem?
when it happens only one time, hard to tell....
That also happens to me at random times but not that often. Don't know why.
So I just took the update last night and everything seemed great until this morning. I got up checked emails, headed to work and listened to my phone over bluetooth in my car like usual. Then almost as soon as my phone disconnected from my car it restarted. Thought that was weird but no concern. Then realized that after about 1-3 mins after every restart it would restart again (so not technically bootloop but still just as annoying.
Is anyone else having an issue similar to this?
EDIT: I've narrowed it down to be something wrong with having WIFI on!
I thought since it started doing this after using the bluetooth in my car I would try turning that off. Nope still restarts. Next restart I turned WIFI off and it didn't restart again after letting the phone sit for a little bit. Turn wifi back on and immediately the phone restarted again.
Backing up my files now and will probably attempt a factory reset to see if that fixes it. (unless there's some other solution anyone can think of)?
I was walking around with my GS8+ in my pocket listening to a podcast when the audio suddenly stopped on my Bluetooth earbuds. I pulled out my phone and saw the Samsung logo. About ten seconds later I got back to a lock screen, and it told me that the phone had rebooted.
Is there anything I can look at to see WTF happened? This has never happened to me before.
Hi,
i also have this issue, I already wiped my phone. i think this is a hardware problem
Every Android as this problem the only question is how often. I got S8+ the 1st week when it came out in Czech and in all the time since now, it rebooted for no apparent reason like 3 times.... IMHO it depends on how often do you restart your phone. If I leave it like month or 2 it is more probably this will happen. Best to restart like every month or so....
