Wm6 Se With Hebrew Support - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro ROM Development

there's a rumor that a version with multiple languages is going to be released
on Q4 of 2007
can any one get it ?

i second that request, though it probably won't happen with hebrew support... it's too much trouble for them to put resources into it.
thats why companies like Eyron or PDAC were born, too bad their products are way too expansive, and give very poor money/value ratio.
thats why we hope for "built in" hebrew support so much..

hi,
i wanted 2 know if any of u guys have wm6+hebrew support running.if so then do u have probblems with Windows Live Messenger?mine just doesnt want to connect to the server,it allways give the messege "theres a connectivity problem" like im not connected to the internet although i am.now i know its cus of the hebrew support-if i hardreset it works prefectly.
is there a tweak in the reg to change or to fix this problem?
10nx

i've always had problems connecting to msn, but the hebrew is not the problem.
i've had problems WITH and WITHOUT the hebrew, but i chatted over msn with hebrew many times.
if you're still having problems, please post it on an other thread, not this one...

Fix WM6 Languages

how come all you guys can not find any solution for Hebrew in WM6
every time i try to install eyron it is ****ing my device sometimes want start again
and i need to hard reset it
Please helppppppppppppppppppppppppp
Hebrew is a b....
Hebrew on WM6 is a tough one indeed.
What i can help you with is the knowledge that Eyron is a bad choice for now.
You can try PDac, it has a smaller impact on the OS, and easier to install.
Another interesting choice is Ectaco hebrew.
Try those two options.
of course, just like Eyron, they also need to have a legal key to function properly (and not show in reverse)
but there is no option for a REAL WM6 version yet, they are all WM5 who just happen to "work" on WM6 as well.
another hint for you, dont use the WM6 versions which are not WWE, they are already aimed at a language at times, which causes the hebrew packages to have problems.
WM6 version
which version do you think i can use to test the hebrew again
i have K-JAM - WIZARD

Like I said, no version for WM6 legally exists (they may have beta's, but its not public).
You can try PDAC or Ectaco if you buy them.
eyron Hebrew works great
also the version of wm5 but im using the version for wm6, deleting some files and vula
working better then ever
talk to them they will help u
or view discussion in pocketpcfreak.com, i wrote somting there about that

hebrew encoding

hello all,
i'm lloking for a solution - i just bought a htc 4350 in germany -so it came with wm5 in the german language , when i'm connected with the wifi i can't see nothing with hebrew encoding, how can i solve it? is there a free hebrew package that i can install on my phone ?
thanks in advance -- fensi
I know of companies selling Hebrew support but I don't think there is a free solution.
The problem with languages like Hebrew and Arabic is that MS neglected to implement right-to-left writing mechanism in Windows Mobile. Doing that with 3rd party software is fairly complicated which is why I think so far only commercial products are available.
You can of course copy fonts from desktop windows to the windows folder on the device (don't forget to reset it afterwards) but you will see everything backwards.

How to add Chinese language support to a English ROM?

Eveybody sees, you Masters make a lot of great ROMs for Kaiser, i really wants to use them, but i can't ....
Because i really need my Kaiser to display chinese, such as in Contact or some dictionary programmes.
So if anyone can teach me how too add a chinese support to the roms, it will be very thanksful!
xiexie!
well,,there are some cabs for Chinese display, you can setup it, if you need it, pls email me.
cheers
i've already tryed some cabs, but not good, my handy turns to very slow....
may be they are not for Kaiser..
not really,,,my one is working well
Could you possibly tell me which program because I have been looking and looking and can't seem to find anything.
Thank you!
enjoy !!! the input is really cool, but I am left-handed, so there is little problem for me when kasia trying to reconise my word, but other then that everything is cool.
good luck and happy new year
I cant upload the 2nd cab for chinese support, email me ur email, i will send it to you
You could also try Cestar... you can download it from mobem (.com I think) as a trial, but even when the trial expires I hear tell it still allows you to read Chinese...
i'm using att tilt (kaiser) there is one software names. Ce-star, if u can not display chinese word,u can try to get that.
I used a cab before in WM5 but that hangs on WM6. I used this method for WM6 with no issues. Note: I added read-only support but not input.

How to add native language support?

Hi guys, this is my first thread in XDA!
Been lurking around a bit though the past couple of weeks and let me point out how amazing this community is!
OK so here is my query (sorry if this has been posted here before):
I'm a Swede, living in Sweden. I've ordered the SNS (my first android device so bare with me) from the USA and it should arrive sometime next week.
I know that the phone doesn't come with any support for the Swedish language. My guess is that they just want to make it harder for retailers to grey import the phone to a region where it shouldn't be sold (even though it will be sold in Sweden soon...).
So, is it possible to add support for the Swedish language somehow? (Keyboard, dictionary, system language...etc).
If so, how do I do it? I've seen some keyboard apps (pre-Gingerbread keyboard) for the Swedish language on the market but some of them don't work with Gingerbread and most of them seem to come with a lot of bugs (except for Swype). Also, I would need a dictionary, and the system language is nice but not crucial.
Isn't there a better way?
Thanks in advance guys!

Hi, a swede with the NSN here as well
To my knowledge, there are no way to get native swedish language support on the stock rom. The "nödlösning", that actualy works quite well is to use a third party keybord. I'm using Swiftkey, that has a swedish dictionary and swedish text prediction.
But if someone know about a way to get a swedish stock gingerbread keyboard, I would be delighted to hear.
Thanks for the reply
I guess I'll have to use either Swiftkey or Swype. If anyone knows another solution I would be happy to hear it

[Q] Windows Phone Mango bugs

Yesterday I updated to Mango and already had a huge dissapointment...
First of all I live in Israel and surf in few Hebrew sites. The new IE does not support any of them!!!
Even not Google.co.il.
The screen just splits in half or the IE goes crazy (I will post a video that demonstrates it later). You can't even zoom in or out. It wasn't like that in NoDo version.
The second problem is that the hebrew keyboard I installed previously is not freezes in Marketplace and some other aplications, and i can't write anything.
If anyone knows about this faults (especially the first one), and how can I fix them, please let me know.
Just check it yourself by entering some hebrew site like, kama.co.il and see for yourself IE go crazy...
Thank you.

Check out the WP7 general forum. Those guys in there might have experience with any of these bugs. Make sure to list your phone make & model.
