The bug with buttons is very simple
go to registry key
\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\
and add key "Keys", then go to
\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Keys\
and add key "40C1", "40C2", "40C3" and "40C4"

As a workaround extract the attachment into DEV\OEM\ and rebuild. I compiled it for the German AKU2.0 ROM.

IIWPO integrated into Himalaya ROM
Bepe offers us the great option to integrate this well-known theft protection into our ROMs.
Just extract the attachment into DEV/OEM. Open 97bd8b8c-5fe5-4bb1-8ede-f55865d7baf8.rgu with wordpad. Put in your name as you will enter it in the 'Owner Information' as well as a MSISDN to where short message should be sent in case somebody modifies the 'Owner Information'. Rebuild.
Works as is only on German devices. Modify '\Windows\Autostart' in initflashfiles.txt to appropriate folder name of your language (e.g. '\Windows\Startup' in WWE).

Universal will by last because of the VGA resources (those make thinks difficult).

I had dump rom for Wizard , it used mamaich's tools . if I am right just replace each files for Himalaya right ps which rom you want for base ?

hi,Bebe,, very interesting and i am trying to make CHS 2.2 now.
all of them are perfect!
*Extract the DEV folder
*Extract one ROM to DEV
*Extract one OS to DEV
*Extract one LOC to DEV
*Extract all OEM Packages you need to OEM
*Run CreateOS.exe and click the button
*Run CreateROM.bat
and created the ROM nk.nbf!
Great! but this time i didnt make OEM addtional coz my initial test.
The i tried to Flash on to my Himlaya, now runnning
2.01a64MB WWE,
But when try to Flash,,country ID error was happen,
Before it never happen to me.
So i tried to change Country ID but still error.
Then tried to Flash another CHS ROM on to mine,
it can done.
Used same upgrade utility.
Do you have any idea why i can not flash?

then came to "Screen Setting& Copy write (C)1996-2005" with sound.
After that, Stylus and Hard Button didint work,
so can not go ahead from this screen! :lol:
Dumped nk.nbf and checked drivers and files.

ActiveSync like WM2003?
My device now will be recognized as "PocketPC USB Sync" when connected via USB. That ´s the way WM2003 did it. It´s faster and more reliable than the WM2005 method via netwotk connection "Windows Mobile-based Device" and TCP/IP. Great, how did you manage that?

OK, it seems that the files in your oem package (2007_04_25) and the ones i got in this forum (2007_08_02) are the same. The only differences are in the registry keys, i don't know which keys are the correct ones but i suspect that the ones in your oem package cannot work since they associate jad and jar files with \windows\joedek.exe but there's no such file in \windows. The correct association is with \windows\jbed.exe. Your oem package will probably run ok but it won't let you start midlets installation right from the browser/file manager.
I'm attaching a slightly revised OEM package with correct file association, a link to jbed help in \windows\help and some missing png files added to initflashfiles.dat

Yep, i realised soon after my post. The registry settings however are incorrect (they reports version 2007-04-25 and associate jad/jar to jeodek.exe instead of jbed.exe)

is it real QVGA version of AKU0.7.0 or mix of Universal's VGA AKU0.7.0 with older QVGA resources?

I've just flashed a new rom made with this kitchen. It is BY FAR the fastest rom ever tried!!!
BUT THERE IS A GREAT problem: i cannot access any SIP input methods from any application. All the SIPs (keyboard, letter recogniser and block recogniser have vanished).
EDIT: no more a problem, it went away after a soft reset

i did not read whole post.
i have one question, that "someone" could answer to...
HOW the hell use OLD commgr and OLD dialpad in that one.....i need 100% method for REPLACEMENT of these.
also - how to implement OLD no(fockin) touch touch driver...

I ran the buildos.exe but after finish, I don't see the 80040000-OS.nb in the temp folder anywhere. There's a dump file with all the stuff in it. Gimme a clue someone.

run the CreateRom.bat file...it should be in the same directory with the BuildOS.EXE

i built a rom with this kitchen and after i built it and flashed it to my wizard it will start to boot up for the first time and it will get to where u calibrate the screen and turn itself off and restart...in a endless cycle....this isnt hte only time ive had this problem its happened with other kitchens...i just dont know what the problem is...or how to fix it.....any ideas? any help would b great appricated! thanks!

We need to know exactly which options did you enable and which not.

all other options were enabled
palm threader i made myself but i know it works bc ive used it b4...the issue might b with the coolcam...or that i deleted the oems....idk...but ive had this issue b4.

Use the kitchen and don't delete anything or add anything. If that ROM works, start by removing the stuff from the OEM folder and build again. If that works, then you know the problem lies with one of your custom apps.

DO NOT REMOVE CAMERA!!!
It's not a clean package, it includes also some files and reg settings needed elsewhere in the rom. The other packages you listed can be safely removed. bye

{To Fix} Another Lite Beta Rom based on Helmi_C aku 0.70

I have just finished a quick lite rom based on Helmi_ C AKU 0.70 rom which I find very stable even for a beta.
Everything Remains the Same apart from what I took out the rom which as follows:
1. Htc audio manager
2. HTC HOME Plugin
3. Office Mobile
4. OneNote Mobile
5. BT_FTP=1_2_30490_1
6. JbedJava_MIDP=0_0_20070726_1_1
7. HTC task manager
8. Voice Speed dial
9. WindowsLive
Rom is working fast with only one bug which i'm trying to fix which is:
After Flashing the rom and after configuration and reset the rom wont boot. But if you reset it before CONFIGURATION the rom works ok as normal. very strange.
I will try to fix it but I have got all the configuration cabs which can be install manual. These files are:
1. Configure_COMgr175.CAB
2. Configure_DDI171.CAB
3. Configure_GPS.CAB
4. Configure_Key.CAB
5. Configure_WLAN.CAB
6. WiFicountrycode.CAB
Total storage memory is 133.16 mb and free program is 74.15 mb

helmi_c done a great job with the rom I didnt have to do nothing with it might strip it down further for who love ultr lite roms but not losing any stability of course

There is more work to be done on this rom
I realise there is more work to be done on this ROM. First I forgot and allowed the configuration to go on. So I had to reflash (forgot HR would do) and prevent installation of the configuration. I then installed the cabs posted, but device refused to boot after soft-reset
So I am back on Helmi's ROM.
Dutty, you must have removed the power icon in settings as I could not find it to see how much longer I could go on trying to revive my device without running out of power

same here I must have deleted something in the rom I also found huge battery drain my highly suspicions are one of the activation cabs is causing this.

I have taken down the rom found a huge battery drain in rom.

Well, I installed it and everything went okay. Installed the extra cabs and looked good. I wanted to try WisBar instead of the start menu app I'd been using before so installed their latest versions. Whoops that made a total mess of things, locked up at the end of install and still was locking up after soft resets. So had to hard reset and start all over again. I've not used this app before, so not sure if it was the ROM causing the problem or not.

Ah, okay, yeah I've continued to have problems with it, keeps locking up on me when doing a soft reset. So guess it wasn't wisbar that was the problem. I'll go back to the standard HTC Rom for now.

The attached .zip only contains the " WMIPL.dip " file and the rapidshare link for the G4 .rar file is not working. Do I need the other file " WMUPDAT.dip " to upgrade? Is it the same file as the G3 one? Also, has anyone tried this yet? I use my SPL as my main phone and don't want to brick it.

The zip file contains LED info from the kitchen posted above. I created the attached cab file using the zip which works on my spl. You will need to app unlock first. Test at your own risk.
Just found the reg values for WMP & IE keys. The WMP & IE keys are much more responsive using the reg fix over AE Button Plus. Worked for mine but use at your own risk.

mhan finally someone replied and gave me these nice fix...thanks mhan...
btw i still encounters some problems with alechy's rom:
1. it always hang when i access storage card thru file explorer and i only have 1gb minisd. i hope theres a fix for this.

I sent alechy a pm and email requesting an English version of G4WM6.1 ROM XIP 20202 faster and add SDHC support. alechy's previous 6.1 EN rom has easy to read font and is all English, and his newest CH rom has .net 3.5.
Let us hope alechy finds some time to do this for us.

yes that woulb be really great...im having a hard time looking for language pack like in a cab for easy installation...let us hope he will do it.

Currently the Best WM6.1 English Rom for Puma_T
Install "ImateSPL WM6.1 G4 by Alechy" (Chinese sites suggest SD installation is most reliable)
Install reset.cab
Connect to a PC for apps unlock using spl_ApplicationUnlock.exe and restart phone
Install xT9 English
Install I-Mate-SPL_WMP-IE_Keys_Fix.cab
Install I-Mate-SPL_LED_Fix.cab
Install SIM network configurer
Install overclocker (max 216-220 recommended on Chinese sites)
Install I-Mate-SPL_SDHC_Patch.cab

THIS IS IT!!! Just had a coworker help me set up an account on it168.com. I tested the patch, and it worked with my 2gb Sandisk mini SD and 4gb A-Data micro SDHC with adapter. Enjoy!

Hi dielo,
I did a FAT - Format to my MiniSD with the adapter and that solved the problem... Hope it work for you.

That happened to me too, I thought it was fixed but if you try playing some files from the SD It will freeze your phone.

Two methods:

Soooo, can any kind soul please explain me what's this besides a standard HTC ROM (build number uknown) with a few programs (tomtom, Google maps, etc). bundled into an exe that installs them after flash?.

the rom is wm6.1
I had a kaiser from 2 year...never tried a fast ROM like the mine! please verify if i do something wrong.
do you understand wath you must do for had my rom??
flash rom - flash radio - execute the file mattes1o.exe from kaiser
it's a "new" way to upgrade rom features without flash...

configure your kaiser and install many programs(removeable as you want).
if you don't run mattes1o.exe you have a basic rom without programs and very ugly, if you run...you have MY ROM
in this way i can create another mattesXX.exe for upgrade program automatically, resolve bug or change skin...you must only run my future mattesXX.exe

why not include the packages/configuration as OEM Packages? Also, how would you uninstall?

You would un-install them like regular CABs I think. As in going to Start/Settings/System/Remove Programs.

I create a base ugly rom ultra light, then I modify all rom with programs and skins, I make a backup of my work with sbp backup 2.0 that create an .exe file.
then if you want my work you must flash my rom(ugly and light) and then run my backup file that automatically install all...YOU DON'T DO NOTTHING ELSE

it was and i've tried it on MANY roms and can't tell it makes any difference other than taking up space
