I am running Faria's WM6. I am use to WM5 and having the cancel/hangup button when not on a call function to "show desktop" or the Today screen. Now with Faria's WM6 the cancel/hangup button disconnects GPRS. I hate this! Is there a registry tweak or something that will restore this buttons function to how it was with WM5?
Thanks in advance,
Ash

I have searched settings and registry strings,,, no luck yet.
Here's the registry location.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\YOUR CONNECTION NAME HERE]
Set "AlwaysOn" to 1

As my subject says, does anyone know where in the registry I should look to fix this? I have been uninstalling and reinstalling S2U2 since about version 0.72 or so and been using it's callerID function as well. So maybe between all the reinstalls somehow my registry has been corrupted? I noticed recently my call pickup and ignore wasn't working in S2U2 caller ID and thought it might be an S2U2 problem. But I uninstalled S2U2 and when I click Answer or Ignore from the WM6 default callerID, it does nothing! It highlights the button as if I were pressing it, but doesn't do anything. Can anyone help guide me for where I should look in the registry? Or any other advice? I have an HTC P4000 (Canadian CDMA Titan) with the carrier (Telus) default ROM of WM6 that it came with.

Brockmo,
When this happens do you have a current connection via EvDO active or dormant? Are you in EvDO coverage or 1X. I have similar problems too with and without S2U2. I have had better luck with 2.17 OS and 1.47.01 radio, if I press the hard talk key several times it will pickup, I found disabling constant evdo connection definately helps. Blackberry is still the ultimate push solution, WM6 is ok, but there is definate issues with prioritizing Voice over Data. Voice should be the #1 priority over any thing else.
I've done a ton of reading and searches, but can't seem to figure this one out. With my old WM5 official rom, I could voice dial, that is invoke the "Recognize Voice Tag" Prompt over bluetooth (i.e. press the button my bluetooth headset, say the person's name, and the phone would call them). Now with my WM6 rom (VJ grace's 3.7<<<excellent rom btw!), I have lost that ability. I can still redial and answer calls using my headset, but I can't voice dial.
I've seen threads on MS Voice Command and getting it to work in WM6, but I think that is more full featured than what I had, and from what I can tell, that only works with WM Professional devices.
Someone help or point me in the right direction please!!! I'm stumped
This was a known problem of current ROM. And I say "was" because I solved it a few minutes ago. With my new ROM (available in a few days) you will be able to voice dial over bluetooth!
Thanks for the response! How can I implement that fix into my current setup w/o reflashing? Everything is just working so seemlesly now, I don't want to reflash just for a dll and/or a registry entry.
BTW, thanks for the headway into WM6 ROMs, it really breathed new life into my Tornado.
I was planning on releasing this fix only with my new ROM, but what the hell.... Here is it!
Remove the .txt extension and import the .reg file using the appropriate registry editor (eg. Resco Registry Editor).
Hi! I'm new here and I got that lucky to change my WM5 on my Qtek9100 with TNT latest WM6 ROM. I've experienced same little problems as everybody else, but I got stuck with important one: I’m connecting my BT headset, it installs as HANDS FREE and works ok while speaking on the phone, but when i press button on it when phone is idle - it does nothing while I expect voice dialing. I've installed SDDIALER and it works, but still no reaction to BT button I've looked through different posts here and found how to change registry to work with sddialer - but I’ve found out that my registry already had right values. So what I’m asking - how to set BT headset to work with VOICE DIALING? Thanx!
Same problem
HI!
I Got the same prob, registry IS correct but bt button activates the normal wm dialer (cprog.exe) instead of the voice dialer. Did you resolve your isssue? I would like to hear sme hints on it.
Cheers!
Christos.
Following change in the registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule = "\Windows\OEMAGW.dll" (string)
Hey fellow Raphael users
I have always been using original rom with Cyberion Voice Speed Dial with my Blutooth car stereo.
I could hit the voice dial button on the stereo, Cyberion voice speed dial popped up and I could say a name etc etc....
I then decided to flash a custom ROM, I tried EnergyROM 3 (WM 6.5) with MS Voice command. Even then, I could hit the voice dial button and MS Voice Command launched.
But I didn't like MS VC, so I reflashed again with EnergyROM 3 without MSVC and installed the Cyberion VC from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296337
Cyberion Voice speed dial works fine, but I can't use the voice dial button, the app just doesn't launch. I checked the registry setting in above thread, they seem all fine.
Is this an issue with 6.5? Did anybody successfully installed CVSD with BT button working?
Help please

OK, I solved this:
This is what I tried without success:
-Changing registry values to call SDDialer.exe / OEMAGW.DLL instead of Voicecmd.exe / btagext.dll
-Overwrite OEMAGW.DLL / SDDialer.exe with versions from original ROM
-Installed update from Cyberion which should fix BT Button
-Installed EnergyROM 3.0 with MSVC and installed CVSD and tried all of the above again
-Searched the registry for other keys containing Voicecmd.exe
Nothing of this helped. What I did to solve it:
Use Resco Explorer to copy SDDialer.exe to Voicecmd.exe (accept warning about ROM file) and it works....
I really don't see why the registry changes didn't help, it looks like Voicecmd.exe is hard coded somewhere (registry settings have no effect)
I hope this helps somebody else who wants CVSD instead of MSVC
