Yeah, I think this is the best solution... I've tried both the Pro and Enterprise versions. With the Enterprise version you can Explore files and Edit the Registry, monitor memory too.

Remote Display of PocketPC
Try this program from Compaq/HP even lets you connect to a device connected to a remote computer.

Wanted: simple file transfer software xda<>XP

Dear all,
my xda (Prophet) gets connected to many different computers, the only common connection mode is USB. On some of them, I cannot install software by company policy.
What I am looking for is a simple, standalone program that can be run (eg from a USB stick) on the WinXP PC and will allow simple back and forth file transfer between the PC and the Prophet via USB.
No other functionality required. Does such a beast exist?
thanks for hints,
best regards
tdklaus
there are free programs which makes the pda acts as a usb mass strorage device in the eyes of windows

Connecting to Windows Mobile device from PC WITHOUT installing Active sync?

Hi, does anyone know if its possible to connect to Windows Mobile device from a PC WITHOUT installing Active sync?
I would like to connect to my HTC Diamond and although My Mobiler is very good, I would like to know if its possible without using Activesync?
Thanks in advance.
as long as u want a software for file transfer, u need softick card export (but it's not free) or wm5torage (it's free but it doesnt work on my device)
gud luck
thanks for the reply, it was more around an App that lets you control the device. Sorry I didn't make that clear in my first post.
Something with the functionality of http://www.mtux.com/ but without active sync would be good. I doubt it exists, as all my searches have resulted in nothing.
Regards
okay, prime example of RTFM... MyMobileR supports this already.

Remote from HD2 to WinPC - W-Lan

Hey guys,
i think you know this "problem":
i start a download on my Windows 7 PC and then i go down to watch some TV.
i dont wanna stand up to look, how long it will last.
hd2 and pc are both in the same w-lan network.
i tried some apps, but nothing worked fine.
can you tell me a name or upload a cab for an app, which works perfect to get remote access from hd2 to pc over w-lan?
your help would be appreciated.

any app that makes the phone into a external monitor?

title, over usb or maybe even bluetooth
Not sure any an app to just turn the phone display into a second or remote display, but there are application to use your phone to remote control your PC, which will display the PC screen as well as allow you to manipulate it remotely. LogMeIn

ahhh, interesting
zoneos.com
also see: innobec sidewindow
Innobec SideWindow requires some very old version of ActiveSync (not working with new one or with device center) which works only with WM5 I remember I was using it on my old PDA, now I can't use it on Touch HD and I miss it very much
no as of now there arent any that work?
ZoneScreen works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8G82A7KKtY

I tried out Innobec SideWindow a few months ago on my last phone. It worked just fine with my htc hermes (WM 6.1, qvga) using activesync 4.5.

i dont think that even warrents a reply.
poor effort
I don't get it? Why would you want Windows 7 on you phone? And it's clearly a remote desktop session. The same way I can say that I've managed to run a Windows 2003 Server on my HD2.

Don't want Windows 7 on my HD2 Maybe android for dualboot Just wanted to show that my friend was wrong
YES it is defenetly a fake.
why u think that "comments on youtube" are disabled ?
its a programm where you can add your HD2 as a 2nd Screen at your Computer.
simply select your HD2 as screen output-> and here you go.
All HD2s in this videos are connected to the PC via USB cable or WLAN.
(the phone works only as screen, like you whould plug in a 2nd monitor... )
nothing special thou...
edit: FOUND IT in my thousands of saved Favourites xD
