This is not on the UK web site but advertised in the UK Orange shops, in the instore free mag on page 23, is an Orange M600i - looks like a Prophet but it's 3G!! Can't find any other info on the internet about it.
I suppose it's like the Trinity without the front facing camera but they have the Trinity too as the M700 on page 10.
Anybody have anything more specific about this.
Kind of De-Ja-Vu of the appearance of the Charmer and people thinking it was a WM5 Magician.

Geenraly speaking, i think that the XDA 2deplets very quick, but nether as quick as when you use GPRs or the phone portion. After having payed a visit to Tmobile's website, i was quite surprised to see that they offer the XDA1 batterypack to XDA2 users and so give the impression that is is usable and compatible on the XDA2; As this additionnal external baterry is 1200mah it could be quite interesting to buy one to supplement the XDA2's power Is this true and has someone already experienced with it?
Do you have any information or tweaks to share in order to have a decent batterylife time for the XDA2 even in phonemode or gprs?
Awaiting your input, i remain, Brgds, ARNAUD
I lost my XDAII.
So know I have the following options.
1)Get a S100(probably MDA compact tmobile)
2)Get Qtek2020
What would your advice be?
Go for anotherQTek2020 or the s100?
The s100 Plusses: smaller, megapix cam
Minus...difficult/expensive to unlock, unsure if I can use my old Qtek2020 accessories. Most specifically my tomtom navigator.
Anything I forget?
Apprceiate links to reviews etc. Read the Mobile burn one..and pretty interested in the compact as a result.
Strong contender...P910.
I went to see both the v and o versions of the TYTN phone and aesthetically I prefer the ornage one.
Can anyone tell me the advantages and or disadvantages of both phones (compared)
FYI
I was offered the vodafone on 18mth contract, 500mins, stop the clock, 500 txt (or 25.5MB of data) for £17.50 first 3 months £35 thereafter with the phone for around £50.00 possibly free.
OR
I was offered the orange m3100 on 18mth contract, 500mins, 200 txts, unlimited landline calls, magic number, free answerphone, free wireless broadband £35.00 per month
thx.
PS does anyone know where i could get the eton GPS phone on contract for a good price?
Vodafone is HERM200 while Orange is HERM100, look here for the differences:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Versions
basically, HERM100 battery is 1300mAh and HERM200 battery is 1350mAh, HERM100 has oval directional pad and HERM200 has square directional pad, the HERM100 stylus seems to suffer from the same annoyance as the Wizard stylus, it falls out. The HERM200 stylus seems to be realy well fitted in comparison.
BTW, ROMs between both HERM100 and HERM200 devices are interchangeable.
thx
Hi..
Im using a Dopod 838 Pro. It sais its a HERM -100 but i have a 1350 Mah sanyo battery. And the stylus is not loose...

Click to collapse
How about expansys?
Go to www.expansys.com and enter Mio A701 contract into the search box at the top left and hit Enter.
You'll get a big list including some 'free' options.
Edit: OK you said Eten (not Eton) but the principle is the same.
Hi first post so be gentle! I've owned a T-mobile Vario 18 months ago, before that had an I-mate Jam, also owned a couple of windows smartphones. Tomorrow I'm upgrading and would like some opinions on the following T-mobile handsets:
MDA Compact 3
MDA Vario 2
MDA Touch
The compact 3 I like for the builtin Sirf3 chipset, as I like the idea of integrated gps, which I have on my Nokia N95, though it's not the best. The lack of wifi and 3G on this device is a little off-putting though, and it would be good to have a keyboard, which brings me onto the Vario 2. Like the idea of the full keyboard (loved it on the Vario I had) and has 3G plus wifi connectivity. Main drawback here is the size of the device, which brings me onto the Touch. Love the form factor, the touchflo input seems interesting though I've heard mixed reports on this. What pros and cons do you guys see with each device? Certain aspects of each one I really like, but ultimately there can only be one chosen. Thanks.....
I for sure, will choose the upcoming MDA Vario 3
It has built-in GPS as well, but not Sirf3 ...
Dont worry, it is working great ! On average below 30 seconds satelite fix
PS: MDA Vario 3 is available now under HTC Kaiser brand.
Vario 3 is great device, but for me not affordable sadly. Can get any of the other 3 devices for free to £40 GBP (interestingly the Vario 2 is the one with the £40 fee invloved, the Vario 3 isn't out on T-mobile just yet, but is down as "coming soon"). Sort of leaning towards the Touch a little now, compact, WM6, WiFi enabled, could always pickup a bluetooth gps receiver for satnav needs I guess, though the builtin solution is "neater". Still not 100% on a choice yet.
