Hi,
I'm new user. I have just installed on my QTEK 2020 MortRing-0[1].6.zip.
The program runs but there are no selections of rings.
Help will be appreciated.

MortRing
I read it but I could not find any help.
:?
Thanks
Mortring uses the default \Windows\Rings folder for the ringtones. You can copy all the ringtones to this folder and they will display as selections in mortring.
Or you can modify the registry entry and put them anywhere you want:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring
i've tested almost all the latest wm6 roms and it seems that EVERY rom that was cooked with Helmi's kitchen, or cooked from the darkforce rom
suffers from the same problem, that the other side of conversation can't hear you, but you can hear the other side.
the thing is, that its only when in a call - other apps can record your voice perfectly!
helmi's v1.1 rom DOESN'T have this problem.
what can we do?
does anyone have a clue about where to look?
is there any way we could use WinDiff to check the whole registry differences between helmi's v1.1 rom, and the rom from the kitchen?
helmi, do you remember any changes you've made in the BT section?
someone said that all the new roms are set to BT v1.2 , while the headsets are v1.1. could this be it?
i don't think so, cuz if it was, other apps couldn't record your voice either.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lets make a joint effort to solve this problem!
Has anyone located these yet. I took a quick look the other day and couldn't find them.
Man these files are just missing.
Search for them using the search option in programs. If you are looking at changing the sounds copy files to your windows directory.
The ROM chef may have removed the WM6 Sounds. If that doesn't work, give a try to similar searches with the term WM6 sounds. I've seen a Hermes cab for this, which should also work on the Kaiser. Hope this helps!
Development has ended.
Sound Option Builder BETA
DONATE FOR SOB
SOB allows complete control of how your phone responds to an incoming call. With SOB you can edit the script used by your phone when a call is received. This script, and the associated sound file (MP3 or WAV) results in sounds, vibrating, flashing LEDS, and so on.
SOB includes 5 quick set buttons preprogrammed with some helpful ring scripts. Use these scripts as starting points to create your own unique ring scripts.
With SOB you can even associate a different ring tone for each script you create. And you can preview your creations right in SOB.
For those using application launchers such as UltimateLaunch, Throttle, rlToday, MortScript, etc, SOB includes features specifically designed for you. Shortcuts can be created in SOB that when used with a launcher, or the start menu, there is no limit to the number of combinations of scripts and ringtones you can make. See the Command Line section in the attached readme file for more information.
With the ability to create unlimited ring scripts and pair them with any ring tones SOB is also a ring profile creator and profile switcher.

Interesting Software
I am looking for this kind of application for a long time due to I have to do it manually by changing the registry value. I guess this software change the registry value too.
The issuea are: i) program appearance in VGA is not correct (attached images); ii) same as changing the registry value, once I choose the Phone\Settings... to change other thing such as Service, band etc, the phone sound will be back to 'Ring'. The same with pointing to the Setting/Personal/Notification.
Hello,
that looks excellent.
with friendly greet

SOB does not supply ringtones. It controls how the phone rings. Please read the readme.txt or follow the links in post #1. In this release the only ringtones the brows buttone will locate are WAV and MP3 from My Documents and subfolders of My Documents.

Known issues are listed in the readme.txt attached to post #1. VGA is not supported in this BETA but will be in the near future.

There is a separate QVGA version uploaded to post #1.
I have no way to test. I hope it works for you.

This is a decision of Microsoft engineers, not me. Afraid I can't do much about that.

I am using HTC Universal which is VGA! And the screen is captured from that device. Anyway, I tried your new uploaded cab (You said the QVGA) but the program ask me to 'initiate the .NetCF with listed version...' I am using cooked ROM WM 6.1 (Ranju 7.7). Hope that infor help.
Nice looking peice of software
I wonder if something like this could be tweaked to delay the vibration for x seconds after the ring-ton starts?
Similar to the "Vibrate then Ring" mode, but in reverse.
Tim
You can vibrate after ringtone starts playing but the ringtone will completely finish before vibration starts. Your phone runs each command one at a time in sequence so they never overlap eachother.

The CAB has already had over 400 downloads. Anyone else have trouble with the QVGA version?

Sorry chuotdx. New CAB uploaded. Do not use the QVGA for VGA devices. The regular CAB is for VGA. I still cannot test it.

No problem, VGA and QVGA are confused. I re-download the cab file you supplied, then uninstall the current version on my Universal, clean the system by Memmaid then install your new cab file. Unfortunately, the problem exist as exactly same as my captured screen before (in 1st page). I saw you use Kaiser is QVGA device? It's hard for you to test on VGA device, isn't it?
Moto Q9m not supported?
This app doesn't install on my Verizon Motorola Q9m Smartphone / Windows 6.0 Standard.
Any plans to support phones like this soon?
Installation was successfull but when i click on the exe i get this error msg
"System.IO.IOException.SOB.dll"
Can anyone help?

More details? Your device, OS, .NetCF version?
QVGA and VGA Support
New CAB added to Post #1. Hopefully this one installation will support both QVGA and VGA devices. I have no device to test VGA.

I have a WM 2003SE device (o2xda2mini).i have dotnet 3.5 installed.
I had posted this in the thread for Dutty's ROM but no response and I think it is a generic ringtone so I am hoping someone can help with it here. There is a ring-tone that came with Dutty's Hybrid for the Kaiser, that I think was called "raining" Anyway, I liked it but flashed to a new ROm and forgot to back that up. Can someone upload it ot e-mail it to me (PM for address?) I did some google searching and couldn't find it but I do think it is a generic WM ring tone so there shouldn't be any copyright issues! Thanks!
