When I soft reset, the My Info (owner information screen) looks OK. However lately when I turn on the device the font is weird looking almost a little scrambled. Has anyone else had this problem or able to link me to the file I need?
Can anyone send me the file?
what file ?
a reason it could look odd is if you turned on cleartype try to turn it off
I don't have clear type on.
There must be some file which loads the My Info image?
Found a file called myinfo.ttf under windows\temp. Deleted it and all is ok.
Probably got installed with a program I had installed.

OK, here's the thing - my Calendar button on TF3D home screen has stopped working. I don't know when exactly because I wasn't really using it - I'm running Second Today with Today agenda.
However, I wanted to get rid of it (Second Today) just to see if the TF3D was really as useless as I thought it was.
The Call history and the Alarms&Clocks buttons work well, the Calendar is the only one that doesn't. Soft reset doesn't help...
Plus, I'm not able to put the Calendar shortcut to the Start menu.
I copy it to the correct folder in File Explorer (Windows\Start Menu).
Everything seems fine in FE but it never actually shows on the Start Menu.
Can anybody help me out here?
Nevermind, I found the cause of the problem - it's actually the Background4AllTabs application that's causing it.

have you found the solution except deleting Background4AllTabs?
Anybody know why pictures in my website is showing as placeholder on my WP7.5? It used to show up properly, but now just icons appears. I viewed it on my wife's iPhone 4s and the picture shows up normally. Downloaded SurfCube, I still get placeholders. It's a demo reel sites, and everybody's site pictures loads properly. Regional settings? Hidden settings? Anybody knows?
Thanks in Advance.
I would suggest that you clean out all temporary internet files form your phone, as I think your image-cache is corrupted somehow.
You can do this by going into the settings of Internet Explorer and push the button that says 'Clear History'. Don't be fooled by the label, it actually cleans out everything, including caches.
Oh, and don't forget to exit IE, and restart. If not, you will still be holding on to the old files...
My son's Nexus 5 mysteriously "lost" all its data and settings yesterday. However, when he switched it off overnight, everything was back as normal today - with one change: now it has "EeSee" appearing as per the attached screenshots. I can't find anything from a Google search about what this might be but am worried that it might be the cause or associated with this glitch. Does anyone have any idea?

I don't know why it would do that.
See if you can rename the folder. just looks like the folder has been renamed.
open the folder like your second picture and tap on the EeSee and then the keyboard should pop up.
see if you can rename it.

Thanks - I have renamed it back to Google+... but still wonder why/how it could change like that!
Weird. I suspect malware for some reason. I'd make sure everything is backed up and factory reset or even reflash all of Lollipop and wipe the whole phone out personally.
Hey guys,
I just updated to LP and was updating my EQS by editing the xml file in the system/customize/acc, and some how messed up that xml file. I wanted power saver and screen shot but because I wasn't sure of the numbers there were I plugged in all the missing numbers like I had in KK with no issues, then saved and rebooted. When the phone booted back up I had power saver and screen shot in my quick settings but noticed my data wasn't coming up and just showing "disconnected" thinking maybe one of those numbers I added messed it up. I went back in to the folder but the quick settings part is missing and not even sure what else could be missing. I've looked that file over about 10 times but cannot find it for the life of me. So I was thinking is it as simple as someone who has LP stock rooted just copy that xml file so I can paste it back into the folder or do I need to RUU?
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm unable to download themes to my Samsung S6. When I select one to download a pop up appears on screen for a fraction of a second (it's such a small period of time, that I can't read the text displayed on it). The pop up then disappears and the theme is not downloaded.
I'd disabled some applications on my phone as they were hogging memory, and I think that might be something to do with it; so I've re-enabled all of the Samsung apps but I'm still not having any luck.
Has anyone had any similar issues and ideally have a solution?
Thanks,
Dave
Has anyone else had this problem or anything similar?
